Do these have the capacity to run as a mainline transport hub or are they more of a novelty?

it's also a cargo station. you need to make a cargo station asset and use these tracks, done

Hi all!
I found a workaround for slow funicular cabin spawning if someone is using Transport Line Manager. Use Advanced Vehicle Options to set 130 Kh/m for the funicular cabins and use President traffic manager to set speed limit on funicular traks! :)

hold down shift key to assign different tracks for stop on line creation. If shift doesnt work, then subscribe ex-MTSE / Advanced Stop Enabler mod by Penguin.

If those two fails, use TMPE to disable lane switching of funiculars.

I'm sorry if this has been specified somewhere but my game seems to only let me authorize the left lane of the bidirectional track, there is no other lane shown whenever I try to create a second train line,

game doesnt support a creation of 'custom' networks sadly, i have to use an existing one that game allows. As I said multiple times already, funicular train assets should be disabled in Advanced Vehicle Options so they wont break train networks, and only to be used on custom train lines.

I have no idea why and how TMPE manages spawning of a vehicle, unless they added something new since the release of the funicular cars in question. AVO is the only "base" mod that handles spawning or modification of vehicle speed, acceleration that are predesignated by the creator.

The simple answer you're looking for IS AVO, you open AVO panel, you scroll passenger train list, you find Mekarski (or funicular) cars and untick "enable spawning". That way they won't be spawned by the game randomly but still can be assigned by you on specific lines in the quantity you want.

yeah read that of course - maybe you thinking i am stiupid :-). I asked the question simply as I thought their m ay be a simple answer. So I use TMPE to ry to imit fernicular use on interrcity lines, however I can't tell the difference between the pictures for trains and funiculars, which makes it a guessing game. This is made harder because the intercity trains don't seem to respawn instantly, or at all. I think I may need to replace the stations to achieve this if they function similarly to airports' detection of external traffic. If you us TMPE then knowing for sure which is the funicular - LHS or RHS - would help a lot. Any other methods of control also helpful...

Hi. Any chance of shorter stations. I am working a very hilly map but can never fit the stations well. Especially the thru stations, as the hill is so steep i can not level enough terrian for them.
