xDD

These mods used to be compatible, what version of the textures are you using? Perhaps Jasperre compilation works best.
cowboi beeboop Oct 22 @ 8:57pm
i got this after HD textures and yeah, things look creepy. i have a monk and any of his styles make his legs shrink, hes floating above the ground a bit, and theres a creepy third leg coming out of his right leg.

Hey there,
Just started Act 2 of The Aielund Saga and ACP Is missing from the crafting menu.
Any idea what to do?

work???
vivienne Apr 14 @ 12:39pm
It's been about 2 or more than 2 years since I wrote about a problem with this content and some tilesets. I've finally discovered that the tilesets have nothing to do with the problem. It is actually an older version of 'baseitems.2da' pre-version NWN1.69 that is the issue. If the 'baseitems.2da' is updated in the override the problem is solved.

Thank you, great mod. Is it possible to change the style of the Henchman too? Maybe by using the console and changing the henchman phenotypes ?. I deleted the previous post cause was full of error XD

i love you <3
Scopeh  [author] Sep 23, 2023 @ 9:11am
There are multiple versions of Ragnarok_mr4's work floating around now it would seem, so I just want to clear something up. I was given express permission by Adam to redistribute his work back in 2004 as an override, and my own contribution to the his work was that I added the tail and cape nodes from v1.69 of the original game release way before the enhanced edition.

I understand v4.0 is a little janky with the HD models, so if you would like to try Bartleby's or anybody else's variants of this mod then please do so, but be warned the 4.1 file on the NWVault is not my work and I wont be able to offer support on it or advice how to get it working.

I have essentially retired from modding this game but if my steamworkshop version ever becomes incredibly broken or incompatible with NWN:EE then let me know and I will dig out the old tools and see if I cant get to the bottom of it.

Cheers,
JayToday Apr 3, 2023 @ 1:51am
Probably a dumb question but does this work in multiplayer servers? I know very little about modding this game but if its an override doesn't that make it clientside?
SirLancelot Mar 2, 2023 @ 7:32am
@qzpm

Thanks! I will.
tsafrirblotnick Feb 27, 2023 @ 9:55am
@Scopeh For some reason, I don't have the option to change fighting styles when accessing the crafting menu. Any idea why?
Genius 1 Feb 24, 2023 @ 12:30am
@SirLancelot
There is new version acp on nwn vault, you can check it out
Mortus_VanDerHell Feb 20, 2023 @ 6:04am
In some modules (e.g. Resurrection Gone Wrong) you are changed in some fighting styles. So I had saved the character with the fencing style and then came into the module - only to start as a horse. When I changed the style and saved the character again, I could start normally with the changed (generic) style.

I suspect that there is some overlap here.
SirLancelot Jan 31, 2023 @ 12:46pm
@qzpm :

Same here. Arcane style doesn't work properly and looks distorted.

Another bug: after choosing an animation style, cloaks dissapear. They are still there, but not shown.

Other than that, the mod seems awesome. I didn't expect such level of quality from a non proffesional artist.
Lore Jan 8, 2023 @ 7:48am
I'm not sure if the Author will see this or not. Does anyone know if this Override clashes with Customize Character Override Hak Extended Edition (CCOHEE)? and if so, is there any work around to make them both work with one another.
Genius 1 Dec 30, 2022 @ 9:12am
some bug when i choose Arcane style in Beamdong Hd pack. When my wizard war rob,the body is twisted

@Scopeh

Can't load order conflicts be sorted by NIT or a simmilar tool? :'(
Scopeh  [author] Dec 18, 2022 @ 7:17am
@Slanion - honestly I am not sure. Usually these kind of problems happen when there's a conflict with another mod which touches the model files. the .2da files get messed up when theres so much overlap.

Unfortunately the workshop isnt very good at prioritising load order.

Without Beamdog giving us some kind of comprehensive mod manager/mod loader tool which allows for load order priority and automatically cleans up 2da files I am afraid we will always see problems like this :(
Slanion Dec 15, 2022 @ 5:12am
So, the mod seems to be partly broken for me. It just works on human moadels. Everytime I try it with elves for example, their legs tend to get much shorter while a third one is growing immensely. Kinda funny but not what I want to seriously play with. Any ideas how to get around it? :)
Aledroid Oct 2, 2022 @ 12:05pm
Is there a non steam link? The version on the vault doesn't seem to be compatible with CCOH
Scopeh  [author] May 11, 2022 @ 3:56pm
I have had a look at the contents of the mods you are using and I honestly cant see any problems arising from the workshop mods. I believe the conflict is originating from using the community pack version of the beamdog models as there are changes to some of the .2da files rather than simply overriding the model files.

The official beamdog models get installed into the install directory of NWN and dont utilise the override folder in your documents where standard mods go. They literally replace assets in the core game. The community fixed files install like a normal override so any .2da files used by CCOH and ACP 3.0 would appear to be overriden by those in the community version of the Beamdog models.

unfortunately the way the override folder works in NWN doesnt allow you to change the load order of mods, you have to manually create a load order by uninstalling and reinstalling with the high priority mods last (as they overwrite anything that conflicts)
Scopeh  [author] May 11, 2022 @ 3:56pm
Try this and tell me if it works, I have modified the install order from that of above due to a new version of CCOH

1. Uninstall the community version of the override beamdog models.
2. install the official beamdog HD model upgrade using the installer version
3. reinstall the community version of of the beamdog models in the override folder
4. Install ACP v4.0 choosing to overwrite any files with the same name in the folder if prompted if not using the workshop
5. Install CCOH 6.33 choosing to overwrite if prompted if not using the workshop (updated link here https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn1/hakpak/original-hakpak/alternate-combat-animations-pack-acp-v40)
Scopeh  [author] May 11, 2022 @ 3:56pm
the idea behind the above install order is to first of all install the beamdog models to work in the background regardless of whats in the override, then get the community fixed version in the override. But then for ACP4.0 and CCOH to override any conflicting files.

You will either lose some of the community fixes but at least still have the new models, but it may actually undo all of the community fixes if it relies heavily opn those .2DA's

Hope this helps

Scopeh  [author] May 9, 2022 @ 2:17pm
Thats really strange please list which mods you have installed at present and I will try and replicate it
Smokey May 9, 2022 @ 12:15am
hmm ok maybe i did something wrong then because when i tried playing with this mod and the new textures my characters body was all over the place when i tried to change fighting stances. I recently started using the character overhaul mod that you linked below. i installed that first before i installed this mod which was stated in one of your previous comments. I unsubscribed and resubscribed. I dont know if the character overhaul mod is the cause of it though.
Scopeh  [author] May 8, 2022 @ 11:50am
@Smokey - Yes, I tested with the official HD model update and Kamiryn's 6.33 CCOH mod and no conflicts so far.

The new models that Beamdog have made are backwards compatible as they are based on the original skeletons (just with high poly counts and better textures), this should be true of any model and texture mods that don't mess with character animations.
Smokey May 7, 2022 @ 10:00pm
does this work with The HD Models & Textures Pack?
Scopeh  [author] May 2, 2022 @ 12:08pm
Quick update for anyone struggling to get this mod working with the Character Overhaul mod - please try this version of character overhaul - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2583716215

its the override version of the latest release of CCOH (uploaded by another user) just tested and its working fine with this.
Scopeh  [author] Apr 23, 2022 @ 6:02am
@Sir Nilbog - I haven't been actively playing or modding the game for some time. If you follow the instructions above regarding installing this mod AFTER the Character Overhaul Mod it should work. You will need to unsubscribe from both mods. Install COO mod first. Then once thats in the game and working you will need to install this afterwards.

I found that the steam workshop is messy at removing files from other mods, if in doubt delete your override folder after unsubscribing from any mods then this should work.
Sir Nilbog Mar 26, 2022 @ 8:06pm
For some reason I can never get this to work with the mod that lets you change your appearance :steamsad:
Ebony Incubus Jan 9, 2022 @ 9:24am
@Valzt I am also curious about this. How do you get these working on PW games?
Ebony Incubus Dec 20, 2021 @ 5:31am
@Grimwolf Yeah and sadly it won't get updated.
Grimwolf Sep 24, 2021 @ 6:26pm
It doesn't animate properly with the new robe types added by Enhanced Edition. I'm guessing they use new bones that weren't there when this was made.
vivienne Jul 22, 2021 @ 12:53pm
There seems to be a strange problem with this otherwise excellent content. It clashes with some of the tilesets such as 'castle exterior rural', 'sea caves' and etc. Other areas will load fine. Maybe there are more tilesets I haven't discovered yet. I don't know why that should be but I discovered this by accident. At first I thought it must be the various enhanced textures I had installed but by trial and error I discovered that it's this content. It's doing this for me in both the Linux version and the wine version. For a while I even thought this was a graphics driver problem. Has anybody else experienced this?
Heavenly Obituary May 8, 2021 @ 4:41am
To my previous question...I just want it to work like ACP 2.0
Heavenly Obituary May 8, 2021 @ 4:37am
Which files from the hak I need to move to override if I want just one of the animations to work on any server? Asking, cause the talksystem doesn't work on most servers.
Darth Cthulhu May 4, 2021 @ 5:21pm
I saw this being used the old 'Last Jedi' server. It gives good animation variety for your characters.
Manamonke Aug 30, 2020 @ 8:00am
When playing online would this mod work client-side or have to be server-side?
Valzt Aug 4, 2020 @ 1:31am
Does this work with Arelith?
looselos Jul 14, 2020 @ 2:00pm
@Joe it's a robe from the Community Expansion Pack (CEP). Any module that requires CEP will have it available in the crafting menu.
Kamacuras Jul 13, 2020 @ 10:51am
Ah man, alright. Time to go down a rabbit hole. Thank you anyways. :)
Scopeh  [author] Jul 12, 2020 @ 12:05pm
@Joe that image was taken over 15 years ago so I am afraid that they have long fallen out of memory, so long in fact that it may well have been ragnorok_m4 who took that screenshot - like I say its that long ago I have completely forgotten!

the only thing I can tell you is that the thumbnails I captured were all taken from mods from neverwinter vault. If thats the case it must exist somewhere. Have a search for samurai armor mods - you never know there may even be better ones!
Kamacuras Jul 4, 2020 @ 5:46pm
What is that Samurai armor in the 1st and 3rd picture? If it's a mod, anyone know which one?
thezmangod Jul 4, 2020 @ 12:54am
and i have been playing this game mostly in online co-op with a friend with both of us having the mod and seeing our own and each-others animations perfectly

i am using the Kensei animation as a druid

and my friend using the Arcane (magnus) animation as a sorcerer

i hope this helps people who are having difficulties playing the game with this mod

btw forgive my bad spelling english is not my first language
thezmangod Jul 4, 2020 @ 12:53am
A: make sure you dont have another mod that modifies the crafting menu or changes the cracter modules to much

B: move the mods override or any other important files into the main games version of those folders in your doucments folder

for me its moving stuff from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\704450\(advnaced animation mod folder (you have to look in the folders and find it))

into: C:\Users\dean\Documents\Neverwinter Nights

and move the important data files of the mod into your games folder so it will register the data better

at least thats what works for me
thezmangod Jul 4, 2020 @ 12:53am
i dont know what your talking about personally i have multiple diffrent mods installed including this mod and it still works fine i did make sure to not have another mod that modifies the crafting menu if you have one it will clash with this one otherwise there should be no problems that should make the mod not work i also made sure to after subscribing to the mod to move its files from the workshop folder to the override folder in the main games documents folder so there shouldnt be any confilcts + make the game register custom content better my recomendtion is you
buzzpinard Jun 20, 2020 @ 1:50pm
This mod doesnt work... it did and now it doesnt. There seems to be nothing I can do to get it to work, I just dont have any options for it in the crafting menu. I have used these before and they are awesome, too bad they just stop working....
Owls&Ravens13 Jun 7, 2020 @ 4:07pm
I think with the updates, this mod no longer works... So sad. This mod was awesome, but unless it gets updated, it wont work with the game updates/patches... (At least I think that's what happened. It used to work, now it doesn't. AND, I do not have any added MODS to alter the crafting area, but the crafting area has been changed so I can change the appearance of armor and weapons, for a crazy fee...)
