dont go with a axe, go with a halberd or a spear, or stick with a staff

@StarryMight and Dr Vapor: you are both right in my opinion :). That is why i think an axe could be a deserving upgrade from a stick, especially because he is, technically, a king

@Dr Vapor: in the toolkit we artists use, you can scroll through all the animations and i didn't see any animation that doesn't look natural with the axe.

No, this is not a mk and there is a battlefield, and this ax is not even included in its history, because he is a stickman.

nice but i dont think it fits his character. Looks heavy and slow while monkey king is light and fast.

Excellent set. My only gripe is I don't think an axe works particularly well with Monkey King's animations, since they cater more to a weapon with equivalent balance on both ends of the staff. Could look funky him swinging a heavy axe around with little to no resistance.
