@thescrap10 this mod hasn't been updated since 2018 lol.
There are numerous updated ones made by others with permission (incl. me)

Is it possible I can tweak the mod a little so a friend and I can use it on our MP server? The server is just us, and I can definitely publish as either Unlisted or Friends Only, whichever works best for you. Thanks,

yeah that is a known bug but they do work just type Impulse in the search bar

I think this might be broken? They're enabled on my game but aren't showing in the build menu.

@ZÆRO could you add a half block version and the 2x1x1 tip and base variants? because those would really help me fill some gaps I often encounter

Used to work perfectly but Keen went and broke it with the Cross-play to where it works in single-player but not on a dedicated server

hello can i use this mod modfy it and reuploud it as to get enought thrust i need to use too many of them and it thake big hit in fps and i rather will use your original then the x10 version as my plan is keeping all your blocks but adding copy block with x10 and x100 this way we can use these thrusters just visualy while the main thrust is handled by just 1 or 2 blocks

just a heads up the thrusters seem to be in reverse the thrust seems to come from the back of block for me not the direction actual ion energy flow. (came up in build info then tested out on a flying chair.)

Correction. It appears to be to do with the "Auto - Discharge - Recharge" setting. Auto and Recharge make them all green. Discharge shows their proper colours. But has no real difference to their function. They neither discharge or recharge. The Purple also is washed out, almost white. And the Terran and Cardassian ones look identical. I recall in an older version the colours were different.

Nacelles have stopped using their colour. Instead of being blue, red etc all nacelles just show as green.

So after some testing I found out that if you have a ton of mods you will end up with the thrusters only having one or two modules lit up.

Hey they added some stuff about hiding thrust flame, could you take a look? Right now theres almost no thrust effects, just light.

They still perform perfectly, its just that it doenst look right without all the modules active

ZAERO have you considered that with the 1354870812 [VSI] Recolorable Thrusters https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1354870812 as it would will allow any color for thrusters and reduce the block count of your mod to a minimum. Just a thought. BTW the mod works as I am using it with these.

To make this a truely effective impulse: I would modifiy this to be a fuel using thruster, with a custom fuel (deuterium), with its own tanks.

Hard to make fuel, and crazy strong thrusters! :)

Best modded thrusters that I have tried so far. Three times the thrust output compared to similar looking modular thrusters. More thrust output vs required power input compared to Tiered Thruster mods.

The idle thruster sound doesn't shut off when the thruster is powered down.

And, yes, I know that vanilla thrusters have more stop force under inertial dampers too. Yours is STILL out of line with that. By about the same amount as all the others, which tells me that the mistake is probably being made when people try to scale their thruster power and use proportional numbers. Seems to me that the stop force can't be proportional, or you get normal thrust and brick-wall stop.

There must be something wrong with the stop force math in the base game, because so far EVERY thruster mod I've tried that doesn't use EXACTLY the same values in vanilla thrusters--no scaling even--has a stop force that's like hitting a brick wall. Even this one.

Regardless of how closely you may have followed vanilla values regarding thrust and stopping force, I'm afraid you need to turn your stop force down. Way down. Because it's somehow way out of line with thrust force no matter how it got that way.

Also, Best feature, NO THRUSTER DAMAGE. So you can make detailed looking warp nacelles that are FUNCTIONAL.

Cooler Mod. Kannst du auch noch stärkere Versionen davon machen? Für große schiffe haben die zu wenig Kraft.

Wann gibt es phaser? :)
