@Scroller Nah. I've given up. Just gonna stick to the class mod I was using before. Probably for the best anyway. I don't have the time to spend fiddling around with making classes for my soldiers.

@MildlyInsaneCajunMan - If you're using AML, does it highlight any conflicts? Have you tried changing their positions in your load order?

@Scroller You're right. They shouldn't be interacting but for some reason they are. I have no clue how though. None of the addons I downloaded for this mod affect mechs either. It's frustrating the heck out of me.

@MildlyInsaneCajunMan - I have both mods installed (for a number of years) and they work fine together. They don't really have any reason to interact.

Apparently this mod doesn't work with Mechtronic Warfare. Tried to use them both and the game crashed. Removed one or the other and everything worked. Anyone know a fix?

Disable commander's choice in the second wave options. It's bugged and it does not work with the Origins second wave option.

Recently reinstalled wotc. Now when I try to run the RPG mod the promotion to squaddie is broken. I can select my abilities (2), but there's no "confirm" button.

@William200245 - I some (limited) success with a GTS mod that allowed the adding of GTS abilities to be added for the Universal Soldier and the three original Hero classes. However, I could NOT get it to work for any additional hero class types added through mods.

Do you mean things like Grenadier's Biggest Booms? RPGO only has one class and lots of specialisations so that's not really possible.

so for some reason the continue button isnt showing up when a solider has the class to pick of the origins and the other parts to make a custom class, anyone know how why that is or fix it?

If you use RPGO along side LWOTC note that RPGO patches enemy grenade launchers for advent grenadiers and engineers and they can no longer shoot grenades.

You can add these
+IgnoreWeaponTemplatesForPatch = AdvGrenadierM1_GrenadeLauncher
+IgnoreWeaponTemplatesForPatch = AdvGrenadierM2_GrenadeLauncher
+IgnoreWeaponTemplatesForPatch = AdvGrenadierM3_GrenadeLauncher

under the [XCOM2RPGOverhaul.X2TemplateHelper_RPGOverhaul] in XComRPG.ini to fix this, if you are not using another mod that already does it.

All secondary weapon abilities work regardless of the inventory slot (e.g fan fire with pistols in the primary slot).
Weapon and Attachment mechanics got revamped to have a more focused role for each weapon to be seprets mods becuse i love the 2 things and just want to have them sepret from the main rpg mod

Hello, is there a way to edit individual class icons without this mod? My friend and I are trying to control different soldiers on a squad so ideally we can have each of our soldiers have specific colors but even editing icons without adding colors would be nice.

Does anybody know if there is a way when you promote a soldier that the class insignia and the name of the class changes automaticaly? I always have to do it manualy and its becoming cumbersome...

Musashi retired from XCOM 2 modding a long time ago. I really can't see the point in extracting it, wouldn't it be pointless for normal class-based gameplay?

Pretty sure if you get the "Musashi's Mod Fixes" mod that'll fix it.

Load order isn't something that mod users can really affect. That message is for mod makers using some of the Highlander's functionality.

Hello I was just wondering if anyone knows why im getting this error? I've tried looking around and haven't seen anything regarding this message.

The Following Mods have incorrect configuration: xcom2rpgoverhaul.

Mods Specified conflicting run order information;

-XCOM2RPGOverhaul wants to run before WOTC_LW2Secondaryweapons
-XCOM2RPGOverhaul is in grounp RUN_LAST and WOTC_LW2SecondaryWeapons is goup RUN_STANDARD, so XCOM2RPGOverhaul will never run before WOTC_LW2SecondaryWeapons.

Sorry if the answers obvious. Noob here! Do i have to change the mod order in AML??

Don't use the Commander's Choice mod with this. And I doubt this and Amalgamation would play well together, I think RPGO would just get squeezed out if it worked at all

Does Commander's choice break part of the mod? Specifically the origins part, where I get to choose at least two skills. Because whenever I select somebody to become a soldier with the Commander's choice button I no longer have access to clicking the continue pop-up button that allows me to confirm my choices. instead I have to back out of the menu which gives them two random choices instead.

As a sidenote, I also think it does the same thing even if i randomly get rolled a soldier or I use the G.T.S to train one, because if i remember correctly even then it didn't work properly.

For reference I also have the amalgamation class plugins as well as most of the plugins for RPGO

Hi I just installed this alongside with Jedi, psionic (+ expanded) specialization, and now when my soldiers get promoted, unlocking a skill spends my AP even though it's supposed to be the free promotion skill, is this normal?

Is it possible to just have the stat system activated with the other stuff disabled? I want to be able to skill my characters but not have to deal with all the extra perks.

Does having Weapon Restriction activated cause your game to freeze during maybe 8-15s everytime you choose a PrimaryWeapon ?
Or is it only a issue because of how modded my game is or how poor my config is ?

I just started this mod after doing LWOTC and every rookie and promoted soldier has the lowest natural aptitude at mortal level. Not sure why? Has anyone else had this? Are they meant to be randomly different like the combat intelligence?

It seems like the ability "heavy ordinance" can never be taken because it's always locked behind a prereq of Grenadier, which never shows up

Anyone know why the promotion from Major goes straight through Colonel to Brigadier? I'd like to actually enjoy two full rank ups since both ranks are quite powerful.

All RPGO soldiers are the Universal Soldier class, they're customised using specialisations.

It's been a while since I ran a RPGO campaign but I was able to select options that let me pick from a few specialisations for each soldier. That was part of the Advanced Options (not Second Wave, that's an XCOM EU term) when starting the campaign.

@Dragon32 i dont have commanders choice im just using the recommended mods for it and its plug-ins. It skips the choice and just selects every specialization for the soldiers when they rank up. do i have to get to certain point for the universalsoldier class to become non status locked or should it be available from the start?

If you're using the Commander's Choice mod then don't, RPGO adds a Second Wave option called that.

Im sorry to be a bother with this question, I have done what the instructions say to disable all the classes for commanders choice to work but i havent been able to get it to work for just one time out of 20 attempts. the instructions say to disable all classes except the universal but the universal class is grayed out in the disable class mod tab. i don't know what im doing wrong if any one has any tips i would appreciate the help.

curious. So i have the LWoTC balance patch (RPGO & LWOTC - Compatibility and Balance Patch) and people there have also noticed Fleche not working, like in my playthrough. Any ideas about this? Should I uninstall the patch mod?

been using rpgo for awhile and havent been seeing as many specialization packs for it, will new classes automatically have them plugged in or are new patches required for them to appear? I may not be too smart with programming but if its just messing with some .ini files im sure it cant be that hard

@Wrath - You can edit the XComSecondWaveOptions file (found in the Config folder of RPGO). Look for the 'Origins' section.

Hello everyone who read this; I have a quick question regarding RPGO ;
Im am playing with Origins choice, and 10 random abilities, and 10 chosen abilities (yes it's a lot, but only for a few soldiers wich are leaders, and I play heavyly modded in legendary)

Im having a struggle with the random abilties, I have to reroll the random abilities, and I waste A LOT of time doing this to find the 'perfect' 10 random abilites.

My question is : Is there a way to be able to chose direclty 20 chosen abilites in place of 10 randoms + 10 chosen ? Via a twick in .ini files or something like that ?

I would immensely appreciate an answer
