Hello (I'm going to use Google Translate because I still have trouble writing in English).

not working not all of them maybe 3-5 rpgo mods are working i have them all but still says missing dependences.

Hi, is it possible to somehow lock the class icon, as selecting any perk changes the class icon to that perk.
My memory is as terrible as it gets and without the icons I can't remember what each soldier is supposed to be.

I'm playing through a campaign with this and have been loving it so far, however I reached a point in the game where it seems to break. Every time I try to promote one of my soldiers, the game crashes. This started happening when I got some fairly high level soldiers, but its now broken for all of them no matter their level

@sprinkz u have to select a certain amount based on what u set it to. for me i set it to 3. so i have to choose 3. than hit continue

I'm using some Allies Unknown, and going from rookie up is making the character have no skills whatsoever. I seem to remember a console command to give them the usual RPGO Class.
Was it 'RPGO_RebuildSelectedSoldierClass'?

If that's the Commander's Choice mod, try without it

Are you trying to disable that specialisation? Try clearing your user config. files and starting a new campaign after making that bEnabled edit.

Assuming that's a valid value, you can't just add random stuff into an .ini and expect the game to divine your intended purpose.

I gave up trying to edit mods, as it "never" works for me. 4 years later and it's still the case.

I tried:-
+Specializations=(Order=170, TemplateName=Enforcer, bEnabled=false)

No changed, still showing mid game and after starting new game.
So I scrolled down and set:-

SpecializationMetaInfo = (bUseForRandomClasses=false,

Which I assume is only on new start, yet I tried both again to be safe and it's still there.

I'm having an issue selecting starting traits with commander's choice. I can select them, but there is no 'confirm' button, so after I select the traits the game is just soft locked. Has anyone else experienced this?

Is there a way to tweak the chances of certain classes appearing? I'd like to reduce supersoldiers to be extremely rare. I'm using the commanders choice as well as the one that has 1 random and 2 chosen classes

Trying to figure out how to give some specializatons psionicReaper from Warlock mod.

Tried +AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="psionicReaper") to ClassData

Tried putting this reaper to SpecializationMetaInfo under Infantry spec, but no effect. Do i miss something?

I am also using psionic overhaul so there is no psi op.

Im not the biggest fan of the changes for the weapon attachments, it makes that resistance order that enhances them kinda useless except for the repeater, can I remove/disable that option from this? Because other than that, I really like it.

Any obvious reason that Commanders Choice option isn't letting me choose anything when they get promoted to squaddie? I also have Origins seleced...but I don't get to choose anything at all when they get their first promotion.

If you're having issues not being able to select CONTINUE after choosing specializations, remove the COMMANDER'S CHOICE mod. I finally got it working!

Solved it: to add psiamps to specific RPGO classes - find "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1280477867\Config\XComRPG.ini" and for every class (or the ones you are interested in) alter SpecializationMetaInfo to include psiamp.

Example:
SpecializationMetaInfo = (bUseForRandomClasses=true, AllowedWeaponCategories=(sword, combatknife, psiamp), InventorySlots=(eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon), bMelee=true, iWeightPrimary=1)

Note: some classes only specify a weapon for a primary slot in this meta info, if you want to also add psiamp to those - add a "eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon" into InventorySlots as shown above.

Hi! Mod's a blast, obviously :) I'm trying to run it with psionics ex machine and I was a fool enough to use it with the RPGO weapon restriction second wave, and Im also using a bunch of additional RPGO specialisation mods. Now 30 hours into campaign - I realise that none of my fighters can equip the psiamp... how do I fix it? Am I screwed?

@Wrath - In the six months you were away from the game, quite a few mods will have had updates. Some mods may also have new requirements that they didn't have when you last played. I think it would be worth checking to see if there are any missing mods that you didn't need in the past.

Hello guys, Im having a little bit a trouble here
Im back to modded xcom after 6 months off and I litterally touched nothing since my last playthrough and now, in RPGO, a LOT of skills are displayed with a "missing template for ability none" like pretty much all the first skills of all the specialisations.
Any idea how I coud fix this? I've not added any mod since the last time I played and it was displayed perfectly
It's litterally gamebraking rigth now because all my playstyle is based aroung RPGO
It can't be a mod conflict as I have not added anything

Pretty sure XCOM 2 has only ever counted kills. Not like EU/EW that gave XP for seeing UFOs etc.

Playing RPGO and my soldiers aren't gaining experience for going on missions, even covert missions, the only way they gain any XP is for killing things. Is this working as intended or is something messed up?

Hello i need help . so i need this mod for lwotc with rpgo mod but when i istall this mod it says that is not compatibility with community promotion mod and same is on opposite side when i install lwotc it says there is a incompatibility with secondary weapons mod which i need for this mod . what i am doing wrong ? i just follow the instructions

I'm not sure I get it, but what setting makes it so you get to choose every trait a soldier gets? Off the first battle the promotions I get automatically choose the trait and it's ruining builds befor they start with ballistic and stuff. I would rather choose each background/trait entirely.

@The Eye - The hero classes are not affected by RPGO when it comes to abilities and stats. If you want to control their stats, you'll need to do some file editing within RPGO.

Are the Reaper and Skirmisher (I haven't gotten to the Templar yet XD) supposed to only have their base stuff + Xcom, etc. I also cannot seem to upgrade their stats like w/ regular soldiers and was wondering if i did smt wrong or if it is an intended mekanic

If the promotion isn't default to soldier, then you likely need to go into your mod configs and manually disable the base class roster along with every other modded class until it's just the soldier left

Having an issue where when I promote a soldier it doesn't let me choose their class, instead it just autogenerates one or chooses one of the non-RPGO classes

IIRC, it's been a few years, this mod should disable the vanilla classes and I'm sure I was able to configure it so one specialisation was random but I could pick the others. Don't use mods like Commander's Choice with it though

Im sorry for the inconvenience but i need some help, im trying to start a new campaign and i want to use RPGO with the commande's choise second wave options but it seems like it doesn't work and won't let me pick the skill trees that i want, do i have to disable all the classes except soldier for it to work?

Get "Disable Any Class GTS Redux", don't use it with Amalgamation classes though.
