Thanks, man. :cozybethesda:

The funny thing is that this wallpaper was never intended to work so well with rgb effects. Back in 2018 when I created this, there was no RGB plugin or even audio responsive features in WPE. I just wanted to create an abstract, colorful wallpaper. As it turned out it works pretty well with RGB lights. ^^

I have tried many rgb backgrounds for my Corsair build, this one is by far the best about.

The moving background is a combination of several animated sequences. Right now there is no option in WE for a user to replace a sequence. Even if that would be possible there is a high chance that the normal, not so skilled in the gfx department user would be pretty overwhelmed working with image sequences and how to handle them in Wallpaper Engine, not to speak of GIFs which are even harder to handle because of the all restrictions this format has. :lunar2019shockedpig:

Sorry for having no solution to your question but what you are asking for is just not doable at the moment in WE.

yeah i guess just so i can see whats happening as id love to change out to be able to change out the background Gif/s but no idea if that would work as im not sure which parts are effects and which parts are the Gifs. when the beat drops and the screen lights up fully, is that easy enough to do?
butcho  [author] Oct 2, 2020 @ 3:47am
Thanks for the comment.

Don't know exactly what you mean "in edit mode", the source files for the editor?
robbiangel183 Oct 1, 2020 @ 10:07am
would love to see the this in edit mode. im confused and amazed at the same time as to what is going on. love it!!
butcho  [author] Sep 22, 2020 @ 7:53am
That is not that easy to do. The line you see in the middle is a picture that gets distorted with Wallpaper Engine internal effects but I'm gonna check out if an overlay with some audio responsive bars or stuff like that would do the trick.

Most likely I'll find some time to take look on the next weekend. ^^

with which it moves to the rhythm of the music, my friend is enough as in the image of the link that I send you next

everything else is perfect :steamhappy:
butcho  [author] Sep 20, 2020 @ 12:05am
Thank you. ^^

Move the line in the middle to the beat is totally doable. What have you in mind? Scale it to the music, or move it to the left or right or up or down on audio response?

I'm open for suggestions. :steamsunny:

very good work
just a humble opinion I would like the middle line to move to the rhythm of the music
please 🙏

I kept improving:steamhappy:

Thank you for your comment. I'll check that out in the coming days how to best implement the color customization.

Thanks for using it.

Hey man, this thing you made is really awesome!
I also would like the ability to customize colors etc, would be really cool if you'd add these options in :D
butcho  [author] Jun 9, 2020 @ 11:41pm
Depends on what you want the line to be? Basically it´s a still picture with some heavy distortion in Wallpaper Engine with a lot of the colors you see allready included in the picture.

I´ll take a look when i find some time, maybe add some color changing via scripting but i´m not exactly sure what´s possible in this wallpaper because i didn´t open it in the last two years so i´ll have to check it out first and see what i can do. :w:
snowyyiscool Jun 9, 2020 @ 8:04pm
i cant change the line to what i want it to be if it was two or three colors chainging i would buy the app 5 times

I have no idea what you mean. Google Translate tells me you said something like "Button"....and this means what exactly in terms of this wallpaper?

Thinking twice about it i indeed had to press some buttons while making this wallpaper. :lunar2019laughingpig:

топчег
butcho  [author] May 15, 2020 @ 6:07am
I´m afraid removing the center image is not an option because people with just one 1080p Monitor won´t have an image any more. :cozybrawlhalla1:

Would i could offer you is to add a customization so you can disable the animated image sequence in the middle (i´m talking about the flame-like-thing in the middle, not the continuous bar).
ebsbow May 14, 2020 @ 6:08am
Yes It works on 2*1080p monitors. Which is my setup.
I added an screenshot just in case you're wondering.

A removal of the center image could do the trick?
In any case thanks for this background as-is.
butcho  [author] May 3, 2020 @ 6:15am
Hey,

i´m afraid this is not possible because the wallpaper includes some images that are not available in widescreen resolution and i have to rebuild them from scratch. Also i could not test a wallpaper in widescreen because i´m a fan of 16:9 aspect ration and therefore all my available displays are 16:9 or 16:10. ^^

Guess the only option is to let Wallpaper Engine do the scaling. Sorry for not having a better answer to your question.
ebsbow May 3, 2020 @ 12:34am
Really enjoying this.
Any change to get this in a wide format? It works in wide but the center images is only 1920.
Trustierlamb920 Dec 1, 2019 @ 4:39pm
It does yeah!
butcho  [author] Nov 24, 2019 @ 1:48am
Nice

Guess this wallpapers works pretty well stretched over two monitors because of the straight line in the middle. :lunar2019coolpig:
Trustierlamb920 Nov 24, 2019 @ 1:25am
love the wallpaper got it extended over 2 monitors!
butcho  [author] Oct 7, 2019 @ 2:05am
Actually i´m not a big fan of Will Smith but I Robot is a pretty good movie.

After i finished the wallpaper and was looking for a name "Ghosts in the machine" was one of the first things that came up my mind and i decided to keep it.

Thank you. Basically this is a combination of two heavy modified GIFs, a still picture with the color beam you see in the middle and a ton of internal Wallpaper Engine effects. Then put it all in a blender, mix it up and cook it for some hours. Et voilá...you´re done. :cozybethesda::lunar2019laughingpig:
pranpin Aug 29, 2019 @ 4:54pm
Idk how you did it but its awesome.
