This mod has not been supported for years, I would be highly surprised if it worked at all. Please check out my "MA WeaponCore Weapons" pack, there are plenty of lasers in it.

Is this mod able like shoot Combiner with laser turret so that combiner act like laser sink?
Like IR remote?

When WC gets upgrade modules I hope you can add the ability to change laser color, think about the pew pew light show that would ensue :D

Yes when WC supports upgrade modules I will be able to implement some type of beam network style upgrades. It's hard to say if it will be identical with the conduits and all, or simply let me separate the power supplies from the turrets. But it will open up my options to do these things.
That said, yes my weaponcore mod currently has all of these lasers and more.

sounds like you didnt understand my last comment so i make it mor elike i would tell it one of my younger siblings:

in moddescription linked version has basic laser weapons (pdx laser, fixed laser, gimbal laser)

in moddescription linked version has no laser generators to build a stronger laser weapon (laser generator, beam conveyors)

hope that this shows more clear what i mean.

No it's not. Auto has very clearly said that will not happen until Weaponcore supports upgrade modules, and it does not.

if yo ugo specifically for the part with generators feeding the laser for addictional firepower, then yes. but the basic laser system is there.

outgoing from the problems of workign without wc i ssupect that it is unliklly there comes a vanilla based version back to life

well there are #3 types of sci-fi laser types I like. Star-Wars/ Battletech/ Star-trek. you have a lot to chose from. so I have faith that what ever you make. I support your tech.

i don’t think much of the code would be relevant at all. Equinox is still active on discord so ask him about it. And no pease don’t plan on using these models, the beam network will live again in the MA WC Weapons mod. If you get anything working some new models can be made.

Also okay i'll check on discord, i'm already in so that's fine, if I start working on this, can I use your assets for the existing beam network ? (And maybe the network's code too, that'd get that out of the way and I can focus on making the power transfer)

Yeah but it could be as simple as a power consumer on one side and a power producer on the other side. I could look into it if you could point me in the right direction regarding making mods. (Add me on steam maybe ?)

well what you are talking about is transmitting power, different thing entirely. that functionality does not resemble any keen block, requires custom programming.

What kind of script are you talking about ? The whole script to handle all the beam network or just the laser part ?
I could try and do a little bit of scripting, I'm a dev, so it shouldn't be *too* hard, even tho I never actually made a SE mod.
Also any news on making a + version of the smart solar rotor (to go along with the T version, to stack solar rotors on top of one another, separated by 15m poles ? :P)
If you can point me to the right direction, i'd try and do the scripting part

Could you make a version of this with the beam network but no weapon, instead at the end you can have a Laser antenna style block that can send the beam on to a receiver (via GPS data given to the emitter, same as the laser antenna) to transmit power wirelessly ? (I found 2 mods for wireless power, they're outdated and doesn't look like what I want anyway)

No. Eventually WC will have upgrade module capability which will let me rebuild the beam network stuff.

With 2cm's work to make a spiritual successor to MA Lasers, (at least, I think that was the motive) and with their departure from at least the modding scene, will ideas from 2cm's mod make it into MA Lasers 2.0? I liked the way beam-forming networks could be made with open beam paths, feedback loops, pulse-forming capacitor blocks and the larger Ion beam weapon with it's own unique power-building mechanics.

Yes, I am collaborating with CriegWarfare to get these updated using WeaponCore. It will be the PDX, gimbals, fixed lasers, and the new Gladius laser. I would like to make a larger fixed weapon in the near future as well but it will probably not make the initial release.

@AutoMcDonough i seen darkstar’s new weapon code to a point all ready but i don't want just turret i would like have a fix main gun at the front of my ship aswell like a had in the screenshot that was the front my ship in the nose as a main gun

It is looking like the power supplies will work as upgrade modules do to refineries, will have to be directly connected. So it is less versatile without the pipes, but darkstar’s new weapon code is so awesome that you won’t even care.

the way i can think of making a big main gun for a ship is like cm2 did it have a a block that redirects to beam and still have the binder as well so we can make a main ship cannon i really don't want a super-weapon as long as it can take a shield down over time it fine but i do like my ship have a beam main gun like a had in the past

@woostyboy There is a mod that have some block that are kinda looking the same called upgradable thrusters, they are offset (they place in the block next to itself visually) and can be a pain to weld/grind but maybe it'll work for what you are looking for...

Hi Guys. If you get the chance, please could you release the six armour blocks closest to the camera in the main picture as hollow tube blocks in a separate mod? Essentially, the same as they are but just removing the laser? Would be useful for mounting internal weapons and having a sleek looking design on ships and vehicles.
