Thank you for keep working on this mod. I recently played the original game. It was fun.

Sadly i acctually have barely time, im in switching work shifts every week + working saturdays.

When im done with the next update it should be easy peasy do to further updates, because they totally changed the system how characters and else get saved, making it much easier to update this mod.


This Mod is still on my to do list, and i also some changes i wanna do, because of the release addons.

Daiteikoku dont have that much Characters and each Expansion add lotta more characters, in Daiteikoku the spanish civil war is represented by 2 characers, in that new system there lotta different factions, and i gotta find leaders for them, or double place the existing both. i gotta fill the gaps with Rance Characters.


+ there is that acctually heat, im in a rooftop apartment and totally not in the mod to continue the mod with above 30° indoors.


I still want to finish it as soon as posible after all. I dont want to left this unfinished and i 100% dont want to abadone it.

ive started to create this mod cause i like the game and the characters, and wanted to play a bit more freely with other nations, hearts of iron was the perfect game to put the optic of daiteikoku on.

my aim was to simply replace the countrys optically with daiteikoku ones, other countrys that got no counter part, i replaced with rance nations.

before the la resistance exp. it was pretty easy cause example: spain only had 2 factions , and there were 2 spain characters. after the la resistance dlc with all that minor factions and else, it got too complicated for me, and for me as single person working on the mod, i got really exhausted from stuff as such. i wish i could share the work on it, with someone else.


i still want to finish it.

from the manual or the game data itself, sorry for the late answer. if you need more advice or help, i will do all possible.

Where did you get all the flags in a good quality? I only find them as very small sample datas with only 3 kb quality or so :/

youre sure you added it to the active playset, and activated it?, because if i myself download it via workshop, and start it with 1.10.2 , it works fine.

though, there is still yugoslavia and spain left, im not done with them.
because i need to figure out how to place the 2 spanish leaders into the civil war and all the factions, and yugoslavia get an complete replace with an faction.

also the generic leader/general potraits are still missing, i gonna add them after im done with the last 2 countries. 80% how said, not fully done.

if more than these are not showing up as anime characters, the fault may be at your side.

i sadly deleted the origins after added them to the mods... i can give you the tga files with the flags... and a few ones with larger res. i have left in my material folder.

is there chance that you can send me folder with them because few of them gaved me ideas for my story and i don't wanna open hoi4 with mod every time

you are from germany I see, is it possible to play the original game itself with a translation in english or german? Because I cant find something, only in japanese.

till end of the year i wont add new stuff, because from this week on, till january i have exames. i will update the mod as soon as resistance is out.

the technology wont be extended thought im not cabable of doing such, im trying to replace the game itself as much with daiteikoku elements as possible
