Thank you for the answer, I have already contacted the forums and discord more than once, if I had received an answer there, then my question would not be here. I already want to hire a programmer, but alas, no one responds.

@Qurinesk: Sorry, TIS completely changed the loot respawn system for Build41. This mod doesn't work anymore and never will with Build41, as the system is now in Java and not in Lua.

So I can't answer your question, best you head over to the official Discord and ask in the modding channel.

Most likely, my question will be off topic, but I want to know. Is it possible to make loot appear in items such as a refrigerator outside of rooms (buildings)?
Manu Aug 8, 2021 @ 6:13pm
What the numbers mean? is 1 = 100% or a multiplyer?
Manu Aug 6, 2021 @ 2:00pm
OH! the distributions.lua is a game file, not part of the mod. My bad, sorry
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Aug 4, 2021 @ 10:54am
@Joe78man:
The file is right there, even with the link you posted. Keep in mind that you are looking for a file named "CoxisDistribution.ini" and not "Distributions.lua" as you mentioned in your other post.
Manu Aug 1, 2021 @ 10:04pm
Not there. I did search for the file, even tried using the search option. If you check the link I posted, where you can download your mod, the file is not present
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Aug 1, 2021 @ 11:21am
@Joe78man: You should be looking for a CoxisDistribution.ini, you can find it under "...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\1269754812\mods\CoxisLootSpawn"
Manu Jul 27, 2021 @ 5:10pm
I don't see the file Distributions.lua, Also checked here: https://github.com/DrCox1911/CoxisLootSpawn
Just in case, but i dont see the file either
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Mar 7, 2021 @ 10:59am
Hi H-Bone, as it's written in the description there is a CoxisDistribution.ini shipped with the mod. In there you can alter the settings.
OriginalHammy Feb 27, 2021 @ 1:44pm
how do you edit the loot rarities?
TurtleShroom Aug 24, 2020 @ 7:23pm
Does this Mod still work for Build Forty-One? Does this Mod overwrite anything?
totally confused Mar 28, 2020 @ 7:46pm
Nice mod.An update for build 41 will be great.
djvirus Apr 8, 2019 @ 6:10am
I tried that, it still does not show up :/
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Apr 8, 2019 @ 1:32am
did you restart Steam @djvirus? Sometimes the Workshops needs a restart to download a newly subscribed mod.
djvirus Apr 6, 2019 @ 9:46am
I subscribed to this mod but i cant find the 1269754812 part :/?
bobnewrobot May 1, 2018 @ 3:07pm
thanks man.
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Apr 23, 2018 @ 10:59am
@bobnewrobot: the mod is placed in "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\1269754812\mods\CoxisLootSpawn". In there you find the CoxisDistribution.ini file.
bobnewrobot Apr 21, 2018 @ 4:13pm
where do i find the file, how do i use this, i want a world with no man made food
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Mar 7, 2018 @ 8:20am
@Legion: Regarding the sandbox settings it works as follows: If you define a category in CoxisDistribution.ini the sandbox setting for this category (e.g. Food) will be ignored. If you define the category "Literature" then the spawnsettings would affect books but for the other stuff like Clothing the "Other"-sandboxsetting would still count.

And about the zombie loot: that's not possible with this mod, sorry.
EPOC16 Mar 6, 2018 @ 5:20am
also.... is there a way this could be used to specifically alter the zombie loot? basically... to make loot on a zombie almost not exist in other words? I was looking at just editing the loot tables for certain things but if this could also handle spawns specifically on zombies, we would use this on our server instead.
EPOC16 Mar 6, 2018 @ 5:18am
Does this override the sandbox setting or work with it? so if set to 0.5 for a catagory thats set to very rare in the sandbox, does it mean 0.5 of the very rare or does it change the very rare to a strict 0.5 modifier based on "normal"
HaT3 Feb 22, 2018 @ 7:55pm
Alright, thanks for the info. Sounds interesting but playing on a quite heavily modded game it seems to require a bit of time to tweak it correctly so I'll give it a try the day I find both time and motivation. When I do I'll let you know. Thanks for the answer ! ;)
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Feb 22, 2018 @ 11:20am
@steven_j_m: Should also work with mod items, you need to use the name from the distribution though.
HaT3 Feb 20, 2018 @ 10:02pm
Hey ! Your mod sounds awesome but does it also cover items added by other mods or only original PZ items ?
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Jan 30, 2018 @ 10:32am
Yep, a little example:
You want to have more axes in containers, but leave all the other weapons at extremely rare you could do something like this in the shipped ini file:

[CATEGORIES]
Weapon=0.3

[SPECIALITEMS]
Axe=10

This will spawn many axes but almost no other weapons.
PT-66 Jan 30, 2018 @ 8:57am
so like for example when u have rare tihngs like op guns rigth it make it common? or somthing
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Jan 29, 2018 @ 9:07am
@Crazy Gman: neither, with the mod you can further finetune the spawnsettings for all the containers in the game, just like the sandbox settings allow you to do but in a much more granular way (e.g. spawn probability for every item)
PT-66 Jan 28, 2018 @ 2:14am
is this like a spawner where u put in the id and it gives you the thing or is it like a crate where u get random thing and u need to find it?

ScOoBy Jan 25, 2018 @ 9:29am
Awesome mod! The Dr. is becomming a professor. ;)
caninmyham Jan 24, 2018 @ 5:59pm
Finally, A world full of forks.
denbb Jan 24, 2018 @ 5:00am
@Dr_Cox1911[GER] ah ok thanks
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Jan 22, 2018 @ 6:18am
@Dr.Gabry: It's not aboout extra containers! With this mod you can alter the probability of loot-respawn way more granular than the basic sandbox settings allow you to do.
denbb Jan 22, 2018 @ 4:07am
where spawn the loot chest?
Sowilo Jan 21, 2018 @ 12:57pm
Cheers, thanks for the info and speedy reply! Much appreciated.
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Jan 21, 2018 @ 12:56pm
@Sowilo: only the server needs the settings, the file on the client is ignored in MP. And yep, it's the one in steamapps/workshop/content...

I think 0.6 is the survival value, but I can't check right now, so don't quote me on that.
Sowilo Jan 21, 2018 @ 12:30pm
Also, what would roughly be the default survival setting for Rare? 1.0? So I know what value to modify from and decrease/increase.
Sowilo Jan 21, 2018 @ 12:23pm
Maybe a stupid question, but using this mod for MP, is the ini to modify the one in the steamapps/workshop/content etc folder downloaded by Steam? Does just the host of the server need the modified file? Since after all, wouldn't other players downloading the mod from the workshop have the default? Just unsure how to use this exactly. It sounds great though.
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Jan 21, 2018 @ 12:05pm
Thanks for reporting the missing end. Did test this, but made a small adjustment and somehow deleted it.

@Noremac_: Don't know how hard you want it, but you could set the category modifier for Food to 0.1 and all the other categories to something like 1.5

@wedlon: this mod gives you a ini-file in which you can finetune the loot spawn in all the containers, so not just the crates in the game.
mörk Jan 19, 2018 @ 2:06am
This mod was created in order to assign that will appear in the boxes? (Google translaaate)
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Jan 18, 2018 @ 10:41am
@Vova Chuk4areev: Sorry, support in english only.
Vova Chukreev Jan 18, 2018 @ 1:01am
что за мод?
Dr_Cox1911  [author] Jan 17, 2018 @ 10:41am
@JustCrow: I thinkt it will currently through an error if you leave the categories empty like that. If you want to be on the safe side just define one categorie and delete the rest of them.
Clerkius Jan 14, 2018 @ 12:54pm
I must say, you have made an Excellent Choice! This will come in handy for me in the future for the private multiplayer sessions I intend to host down the road. Muahahahahahah!
