Is there a way to edit the denar values for what the gear troops are allowed to have? In-game prices are weird and I'd like to have some more options for my soldiers.

i love this mod,but there is only some aspects of diplomacy ,are you planning to add more? Will there be any new update?

I agree. Things in the same "vein" as what you've mentioned about villages are what I feel give the game substance. It would have been nice, imo, if there were already a population system in place and even more focus on manorialism to really immerse the player in the environment. I strongly dislike the double-standard between the player's system of recruitment and how NPC lords grow their armies. After I get a handle on stabilizing the long-term political environment, a lot less crazy indictment madness, I'm gonna be working on population and fixing the double standard I mentioned.
It's reassuring to hear that someone else doesn't hold the concept of custom troops as a top priority. While I do like the novel feature of being able to customize our troop tree it's very difficult to apply a fair, reasonable system of checks and balances when it comes to creating said custom troops.

I've always found that the sense of "accomplishing something" - especially being the leader of said Village, then dominating the area around it so that it's not Raided again and again - these little things help build perception for a gamer that they're "helping" the virtual people of the land. Saving a Village from Bandits, or from an opposing Monarchy raiding the village - these events help give a "soul" to this game, more so than what Bannerlord has delivered. This is just one tactical scenario, and there are others that could be mentioned, but I think M&B:W still has more to offer for a modder to use as baseline, than what Bannerlord has. As for Custom Troop Tree (CTT), I don't think it's a high priority, because weaponry was always regional. A village near woods would prefer wood-based weaponry, mining village has more metal, etc. Also, I never liked the complete deletion of Swadian troops as CTT takes over, so I stopped using CTT because it removes options.

The spirit of creating a custom character included being able to create any character in the game, monarchs included. So those options will stay.

Diplomacy has nice features. However, debugging and altering Diplomacy is painstaking for me because it is integrated directly into the module system source code and I'm very particular about organization. Since I have my own ideas about diplomatic features I figured I'd start fresh. Some features in Diplomacy mod will be shared throughout my version as the concepts are common. What will differ mostly is the delivery. Diplomatic features to me can't be in just one mod, it's going to be a series, or collection, of mods in which each installation brings about more features according to the context of the mod. For example, I have started part of my diplomatic features in a mod called "Count of the King's Stables", which is all about the Constable. I would also have one for the Steward, Bailiff and Reeve, just to name a few.

Still following for sure because this is my fav mod. Have you decided on whether or not you're gonna keep letting us have the option to start as one of the faction's monarchs? Removing diplomacy seems like a big move, too.

If anyone is still following,
I'm almost at a stopping point in the overhaul of my Custom Character Creator engine. I say stopping point because I may never be finished with it as I'm constantly realizing ways to improve it. And I say engine because it's always been a driving force of inspiration for me and because it is actually part of what I need to finish my version of custom troops. When you see the progression of the generator you should be able to understand what I mean. I have put forth a lot of effort to get it where it's at now. With all that being said, I will not be publishing it to Steam, just yet, because I'm pulling out Custom Troop Trees and Diplomacy. I will provide links for players to download and manually install, if they so desire. Once I have, at least, my version of Custom Troops complete, I will update the mod here on Steam.

And I agree, Custom Troop Trees is very buggy. I plan to replace it with my own version, just not sure how long it's gonna be before it's finished. As you would imagine, there's a lot of work necessary to make something like that work.

If adding armors and stuff isn't out of the question i'd love that Rus armor mod to be put in, I feel it fits native while also being fairly unique

@Wulf: Please keep that in if you could! It's my favorite option and it along with the other mods you use separates your mod from SO SO SO many others. I've roleplayed as Graveth so many times and I even want to make a gameplay series as Sanjar Khan. The custom troop trees, however, have always been extremely buggy and almost even useless at times. I've used your mod for a very long time. Thank you for all the work you've put in and for publishing such an awesome mod!

Does anyone start as a monarch?
I'm in the midst of overhauling my mini mod, where you create your custom character, and I'm thinking of removing the monarch options. The monarch options are by far the buggiest part of my mod and I'd kinda like to bring the "feel" of the mod back closer to Native.
Thoughts?!

@toontowndeer Yes you can Its a bit of a process but I'm trying to figure It out at the moment You have to transfer all the armour or weapon models & Textures (And I mean all the textures for each armour or weapon so like texture, bumpmap, Lod textures and models too but you can skip the Lod stuff just wont run as well without them) I'll let you know how It goes for me

Hey, I decided to play this after a long while, and something screwed with every one of my save files and now my characters have all stats at 0 and have nothing in their inventory(besides their previous equipment). WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!

For any would-be players with this CCC Mod, I can give you a couple assurances of the "State of the Mod" regarding some specific achievements that may have been problematic in the past -- the full conquest of all the map by the player can be done in this mod, with Steam achievement granted. Additionally, the Claimant assistance mission can be played to completion and also obtain that achievement here. While I have not specifically tested it, a play-through that helps an existing King to conquer the entire map is assumed to be capable as well, so these 3x separate Steam Achievements are possible with this mod. That matters to give these assurances, because players would not want to put in 30-40 game hours with a mod only to see it fail to trigger the Steam Achievement. Aside from that, Wulf has done great work to improve/update the CCC Mod and I predict even more polish is coming. This is now "The" go-to mod for more effective play-throughs in a Native game setting.

The new patch finally updated properly!

No more companion and troop wipe after you create custom troops.
And doors are fixed.

Just FYI, I've been planning a bug fix patch for a week now.
Among the fixes are also some changes that should take effect after being updated but it's possible that a new game will need to be started for all the changes to be in effect.

It's fixed! No more troop or companion wipe after creating custom troops.

Still have about 2 days left before I apply the patch. So still considering fixes that may be quick.

Also, some mods with CTT have an different or rebalanced troop tree design, leaving it similar to the other factions and removing the overlevel

(your troops level is up to +4/+2lvs of difference between the standard ones, making an "balanced troop" becomes annoying with that)

Well, not sure if its easy and sure takes a lotta a time to mod like that, and it's great do it in your own pace man, and don't force yourself too much while doing it

About ideas , well there's a few
be great, just an change for the horse archers AI
They are naturally broken in the game, but overall the normal Ai is not that bad and wouldn't change it

If there could be quality changes would be great, like the cows follow player change and easy recruiteable prisoners

As you said, no major change to the core game itens and factions is understandable, but like the horse archers AI fix it could also change the item pool for the vaegirs and they lack of shield bug
(though i think this one is fixed in the diplomacy but not sure)

Last maybe some extra command in battle, to revamp the strategy
Like some mods add with the formations and Ai submod

Wulf, that specific fix for "Loss of companions when creating custom troops" is a huge boost and positive news for this mod. I think it's a worthwhile goal to have custom troops for one's upstart kingdom but the loss of the entire party (especially if your party was stacked with Mamluks and Swadian Knights) -- always made the transition very risky, and I don't know if the Companions ever come back (I went 100 game days and they still didn't come back and gave up, in one particular game).
Also, I recommend transitioning some of the "Mod Requests" over into the "Discussions" area for this mod, since these random posts here can often fly by and stack up and get lost, and there's no "search" for all these older Comments' subject matter (but you can Search for keywords in the Discussion thread area).

The direction of the mini-mod is in the description. Simple as that.

The mini-mod is functionally complete. It only lacks some aesthetic changes.

Diplomacy and Custom Troop Trees were added because they are boons to my mod.

I agree, custom banners would fit nicely.

No items will be added. It's not within the scope of my goals, right now.

I do not have the time, right now, to maintain a schedule for development. However, that will be changing about half-way through the year. After that point, I foresee development becoming consistent.

I know this directly addressed a few things you mentioned while also adding some situational info but still not clarifying an over-all direction. That is because, there is more than one direction. And as vague and obscure as that is, I have to leave it at that because I don't like to gets people's hope up, just in case I can't deliver, for whatever reason.

not sure what direction this mod is going, but seems to be going in a more "make your game" type of thing

so some suggestions, custom banners would be cool, more small troops such as bandits, adding more armor and such would be amazing

theres no current "customization mod" with these features in the workshop, this could be the first

@Wulf, thanks for the update and I completely understand that a day-job certainly is higher priority than Steam modding. I think we're seeing a return of otherwise Bannerlord players who have decided that Bannerlord just wasn't good enough, and it's better to be in M&B:W instead. I for one probably won't play Bannerlord until at least 2 years from now (by then it's in Toddler phase :2017meatball: ). I like the aspect of custom building a character just like classic RPGs, instead of the "answer a question" silliness that walks through the vanilla game. Additionally, you tuned up a few things here such as Ale and other items active as food/morale boosts, and the Bodyguard function for Companions to follow you into ambushes, which are helpful also.

As much as I know, BannerPage seems like a sort of "best of" mod. It integrates a lot of mods but still has some original ideas. My work here has essentially been ground to a halt due to work load. I don't foresee myself being able to do much with my project until after May. I don't know how often anyone else will continue to play but I'll probably have love here until I'm in a hospice somewhere. lol.

Would love to see the "best of" this mod and the most current Diplomacy mod (that is only available in 3rd party download) become fully updated and integrated here. Seems that we need a "greatest hits" type approach to getting a better Native game here.

I fould a bug. I tried to rescue a lord from prisonment, i killed every guard in the castle and still cant open a door to the prison sells. Closed.

And i tried again with different lord in the city. Same result.
