This mod reveals wonders and gives contact with other civs, but doesn't show resources outside your visible area.
Expanded initial View (which can show the whole map if you set a large enough radius in the .lua file) doesn't reveal wonders or give contact with other civs, but does show resources over the whole revealed area.
If you can't get it to work I recommend trying Expand Initial View instead and setting it to a large number.
Makes sense that it conflicts with Expand Initial View, since they basically do the same thing, but differently. You can increase the radius with Expand Initial View to see a much larger area, not sure by how much. Maybe you could use a huge number and see the whole map?
I don't know if you can add it to an existing game.
It reveals the entire map, including goody huts, barbarian camps and natural wonders.
You immediately get the points for discovering the natural wonders.
It does not reveal the resources on the tiles, you still have to explore to find those.
If you quit the game, unload the mod and reload it, the map stays revealed.
What I like to do is start a game, SAVE IT, then settle a city to reveal the map.
If I don't like the map I'll restart to generate a new map, SAVE IT, then reveal the map.
I keep doing that until I find a map I like.
Then I quit, remove the mod and reload the save before I did anything.
That way I start with an unexplored map, but I know that it's a good map.
I also try not to memorise the locations of anything important.
I just look at the overall shape of the map, mountain ranges etc.
You know you have to settle a city to reveal the map, right?

Probably best to play him on an archipelago map or similar.
Good point. I hadn't considered that usage scenario.
I guess Kupe can spend more time at sea.
I was using this mod to test out Kupe spawns. Kept spawning in middle of a big ocean, on large continents maps. Many turns away from the nearest island or land of any kind. There was also a good chance that when I finally found land, it wasn't paradise. Or if it was, it was occupied by a number of City States.
Poor Kupe.
Besides, Kupe's bound to start near land, that shouldn't be a problem.
However, this and many other mods are automatically disabled in GS, because "This mod has not marked itself as compatible with the current game version".
You can ignore the warning and enable it anyway, but it would be nice if the author could check and mark it compatible.
You have to found the first city to show the entire map.
Tienes que fundar la primera ciudad para que muestre todo el mapa.

Now start Civ 6 and in game, press the ~ key (to the left of the 1 key), type the command, "reveal all" (without the quotes), press enter, and everything, including all other units, will be revealed.
