hi anti, im fairly new to DD and even newer to playing around with mods for the game.
my only goal was to get some lore-friendly skins for each characters costumes,
but didn't want to overwrite original fx data. so ofc i've deleted the fx folder coming with your plague and cultist- vestal reworks, as described.
im running debug screen ingame and via trial-error figured out, with either mod active, i get "could not open file //darkestdungeon/fx/xyz" reports and placeholders for the missing fx.
i really like your work and run a bunch of other skins from your roster with different heroes,
no problem there! thanks for the fine work

Ohhh, sad to ear that. Each of my mods starts at J because of the well known Unofficial Palette Expansion Pack ( UPEP ) taking the 5 first available letters but I have to admit I didn't looked for more collision as it would be a tedious work for each modder.

Btw thank you, i'll add a little part about how and where to rename folders on my skins. Have fun with it !

The default slots clash with several other vestal skins on the workshop, such as Blond Vestal Recolor and 3+1 Dark Souls 2 set.

I've renamed the folders to use slots O - R instead, as I'm fairly sure that no other mod on the workshop is using them (according to my nerd spreadsheet)

So if these skins are not appearing for you, try renaming the folder. It's a great set.

Hey sorry to be this late to awnser I was far away from internet the last days. This mod add 4 additionnal skins, so all your usual vanilla skins will be there plus my 4 plus any other skin mod. Beside this and sadly, yes, the fx will be changed for all your vestal as long you keep this mod activated. To be clear on what I didon FX : it's only a " light "version of the vanilla fx. I erased some area arpund the mace and the light/shadow layer of the vanilla vestal that show on some attacks. It should not feel weird as fk on the usual vesta, just a bit faded.
Still, if it bother you, you can remoce it by deleting the fx folder located here : ...\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\1231948683\heroes\vestal

Really cool, but just to check: Does this mean ALL vestals will be this necro vestal, and if not, will the normal vestals have their usual light fx or no?

Hey ! thanks a lot for letting me know about this issue. I found why it does that, this is a simple file name bug. Unfortunatly, I can't fix the mod until late tomorrow ( in more or less 20h ) . Until then you should be abble to fix it on you side by removing the "2" on "vestal.sprite.attack_miracle2.png" the in "...\steam\steamapps\workshop\content\262060\1231948683\heroes\vestal\vestal_K\anim" or wait until I get back home and fix the mod !

Hi! I'm really loving your skins so far, some of the highest quality stuff on the workshop right now imo (and all the female characters don't have their boobs out for some reason in battle, so another positive xD). Anyway, on these Heretic Vestal skins, I seem to be encountering a glitch when using the 'Dazzling Light' move. The character turns into a solid white pillar across the screen xP. Haven't found anything else using other moves yet and I'm not sure if it is with all of the colours (I'm using the light blue/teal one atm) but I thought you should know :) Good luck and have a lovely day :3

Hey, it could be an idea but as FX, class informations arn't skin-specific. So it would change any vestal and I just don't want to do that. It would break so much things, either balance or compatibility.
Anyway I hope you're enjoying this skin !

It was on nexus a while back before the workshop was released. It was really glitchy for some reason.

Huuuh ? There is another Necro like skin ? :o I wasn't even aware of it ! Sadly, the graphic update of animation of DD broke so much skins !

Also, V1.1 : I added 3 color variations, Blue-green, Grey & purple cloths & gold metal and Brown with gold metal.
