Can I use this mod in TotalWar:WARHAMMER 2 now?
I believe I have this enabled, but it doesn't seem to be working properly...

I still would like to do something, probably based on the mod "Guns, Smoke & Spectacle" that is already really great and that I recommend. you have the link in my previous comment.
But for now, I did not find the time or the motivation to do it, and as you already have great mods for that on WH3. Though, I have a blood mod rather well advanced and I also started a mod that rework magic effects, but I'm not ready to share them for now, they are not finish yet.

I can tell you also that I don't think I will work on new mods for the end of the year, with all the other games to come, I'm not sure to stick on WH3 fo this period, and the game feels always a bit too arcadey for me in its current state.

Someone just upload this mod on TWW3. It seems to be a really great start, so I recommend it for those who want because on my side I don't so much progressed on mine.

Sucks to read about the performance issues, though...

I still don't understand how the game can look much worse on most battlemaps than 2, but run so much more poorly...

This and your blood mod are the best mods for WH! They add so much to the battles, its almost impossible to enjoy them anymore, once you get spoiled with these 2.

Eagerly waiting for these 2 mods implementation in WH3! Keep up the great work!

This is a great mod, please let us know if you succeeded implementing it. I am literally waiting with my Empire, Dwarven campaigns to enjoy the smoke from the gunline with your mod. Keep up the great work!

I would like, but I had performance issues with VFX on TWW3 to make something credible (or at least that I like). So I was waiting IE and the blood dlc optimisations to try it again. So I promise nothing but I will try again.

I think they should use the modified effects already, because they aren't into the base display tables. But I will verify that and look if they are not too heavy without a proper specific effect applied to them.

I probably forgot to test them, because I have no remember of them at all, and I don't play with dawi.

The runes that were added with thorek in vanilla. They add a new unit/projectile type I think?

From having a quick look, dwf weapons that have the seeking and flaming runes etc, would they have a conflict as you don't have these in your table? Or they just wouldn't benefit from anything but not conflict?

Hello, I'm working on it but unfortunately I'm really struggling with the performances. What I can do for now without destroying the performances is really poor, and I can't just port my effects from wh2 because they are totally unplayable.
I try to find a way to optimise the effects to be able to make them close as possible of this mod, but I'm not sure how far I can improve that and it will probably take some time, sorry.

I honestly can’t tell if this is working or not…where should it be in the load order? Where should the proper effects and blood add ons be in relation to this (above or underneath).

The only thing I can actually notice is that with the blood add on units get covered in far less blood but the ground only takes small patches in heavy casualty areas…

If you want to keep the other trail effects, you can simply delete "wh_main_weapon_trail_arrow_small.xml" into this one, by opening it with RPFM.

I was curious if there was a way to make the trajectory of the arrows a little more obvious while still maintaining what looked like great smoke.

I love this MOD, it looks great! But I found that the arrows were not as clear as they used to be. Yes, it was very realistic, but it was not easy to spot when fighting on the battlefield, which caused some confusion, which made me a little frustrated.

Yes you're right, CBE has some performance impact.
In general, probably not so much, but some decals and effects can be heavy. You can mitigate that with the CBE Light VFX Pack, and/or CBE Proper Effects Addon. ;)

Don't use CBE and CBE - LITE - at same time, you must choose one of them, same thing for the Proper Effects Addons, choose only one between the regular one and the SFO version, like this :
- Cinematic Battle Effects V3.8 + CBE proper Effects (or its SFO version, not the both at same time)

- CBE | Cinematic Battle Effects - LITE - V3.8 + CBE proper effects (or its SFO version, not the both at same time)

Using without "CBE | Cinematic Battle Effects 3.8+ Proper Effects Addon" will be more compatible with most other mods that modify the projectiles/explosions db tables.

Hi I don't have the new battle effects despite downloading the movie file.
I have the new launcher, but it didn't work, so I downloaded the movie file, still doesn't work.
Radious and Dryads units reskins are the only other mods installed...

Hi i'm having an issue with seeing the arrow trails? from normal bowmen? i remember before only seeing trails from artillary and other trails but can't seem to remove arrow trails i also tried turning off projectiles in options but that removes the artillary trails?

I like this mod, but I cannot see arrow trails of smaller arrows at longer ranges. Makes battles much harder to see what's going on. I unfortunately have to disable this mod until this is changed.
