Just tried this out my self, if there is another place it needs to be updated let me know.

You can find the XML they are referring to by clicking on the advanced - open folder option for run and gun in the rimworld mods screen.

From there, "about" folder - then the "about.xml" file is what you are looking for. I used Notepad++ to edit, where you can just change 1.5 to 1.6 or add a line for 1.6 under <supportedVersions>.

@Kenny1160 how to change it ?

Tested this in my heavily modded save and seemed to work without errors. You just gotta change the xml to add 1.6 as a compatible version and then it should work.

Crazy how many people here demand from modders that they update their mods just because they want them to, they do it for free so just learn to mod and do it yourself or just stfu and respect others work and real life. Plus you never know the reason why they don't update it.
