Is there a way to display the names of all the soldiers who it was in the mission? Not just duo, all soldiers in mission.

So, @Cato ... if we add those missing arrays on some place in WOTC - Configurable Headshots config files, would that do the trick ? Sorry, I am completely clueless about modding. Thank you
Soul G 16. apr. 2023 kl. 18:21
I see. thanks for the information though.
Hope LEB is still alive...
Cato  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2023 kl. 17:44
I've reported 11 missing arrays to Configurable Headshots, including male/female solo, all duo lines and Captured chosen lines.

It's not something I can patch my side, they replace the entire photobooth engine.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2023 kl. 17:19
I have had a look at Leb's mod and I think I see the issue within file: X2Photobooth_LEBPortrait.uc

Duo and memorial quotes are not defined in the config. It probably breaks vanilla as well.
Soul G 16. apr. 2023 kl. 17:09
Not only 'B Lines' but also 'DuoALines' are not working too.
The interesting thing is both 'SquadALines' and 'SquadBLines' are working correctly.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2023 kl. 16:53
I think you are correct, I am also seeing some intermittent 'B Line' failures with Configurable Headshots. Thanks for reporting. :steamthumbsup:
Soul G 14. apr. 2023 kl. 14:39
seems like it conflicts with LEB's configurable headshots.
Squad lines work fine, but duo lines / memorial lines are not working properly when LEB's configurable headshots mod is activated.

Gonna add this to my list!
Sinikivi 16. feb. 2021 kl. 13:30
The more awkward this made my squad look after epic fights the more I fell in love... The best moment was when the mission picture got photobombed by a flyby bird's butt (I don't know if that was an intended feature of chance, or I just got lucky)...

Where's that helmet from on 5th picture's right :lunar2020horrifiedrat:
EvilPolygons 24. juni 2020 kl. 16:57
How am I only now discovering this mod?? I've been wanting something like this since forever! :steamhappy:
yes_commander 23. nov. 2019 kl. 7:52
Yes, Commander! Thanks for the format change!
Cato  [ophavsmand] 23. nov. 2019 kl. 7:44
2019 Update is out!

Mod now uses +m_arr formatting, which greatly improves compatibility with other mods.

Also 360 new entries with better spawn weighting.
yes_commander 8. nov. 2019 kl. 14:41
Thanks for the heads-up. And as it turns out, I moved all of the entries so that one contained only the mission name (as entry [0]) and another contained only the date + location, with all the propaganda consolidated and re-numbered in the third SquadOp list. Still getting all the base WotC options so it's not as restrictive as I was hoping. I guess I'll try spamming a hundred entries of mission name and date + loc to overload the random pool.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 8. nov. 2019 kl. 12:45
Be sure to make a backup of any config changes you've done.

I'm working on a fairly big xcom project right now, since I have the dev tools installed I may post an update to this mod at some point.

Such as: http://warhammer-game.narod.ru/wiki/Dawn_of_War_Quotes.html
yes_commander 7. nov. 2019 kl. 14:50
Cool, thank you.
yes_commander 7. nov. 2019 kl. 14:44
@Cato Heresy
Is there a way to introduce new lines without ordering them in sequence. Something like
+m_arrSquadOpLines="Zombie Five"
rather than, say,
m_arrSquadOpLines[9,999]="Zombie Five"
yes_commander 7. nov. 2019 kl. 12:48
@Dragon32 Helpful as always, much appreciated.
@Cato Heresy Holy shit. Glad I asked! I've wanted control over permanent text features for the longest time but never actually tried seeking out a mod for it. I basically stopped using the photo booth at all because campaign after campaign just blends together unless I went to the trouble of manually adding mission names. Thank you!
Cato  [ophavsmand] 7. nov. 2019 kl. 5:36
Yes, that's simple to do with this mod. Open up this mod's quotes file (instructions in description above) - preferably with Notepad++.

Scroll down to Squad Section at line 620. Replace all entries for either SquadA (usually top line) or SquadB (usually bottom line) quotes with one the following:

m_arrSquadALines[0]="<Photobooth:Operation/>"

m_arrSquadBLines[0]="<Photobooth:Operation/>"

If you want the date or location, add the following within the speech marks: <Photobooth:Location/> <Photobooth:Date/>
Dragon32 7. nov. 2019 kl. 2:47
@yes_commander:
There's "WC_PhotoReBooth" but I found that crashing when run with "Community Pose Pack [WotC]", so I dropped it.
yes_commander 7. nov. 2019 kl. 1:59
Does anyone know if there's a mod or a setting I could tinker with on my own to always put mission names on post-mission posters? I assume it wouldn't be as simple as messing with ini settings but I figured I'd ask.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 4. maj 2019 kl. 8:39
True, but seeing as the player will only generate two posters before finding out that fact I would rather leave it in for flavour.

Also just because Bradford is sceptical of the rumours does not mean that other Resistance Cells are. Some may have been battling the Faceless threat locally for years.
Dragon32 4. maj 2019 kl. 8:06
Hey Cato Heresy

m_arrSquadBLines[75]="Suspicious? They may be Faceless. Report it."
m_arrSquadBLines[80]="Faceless? Be Suspicious."

Until the first Retaliation mission Faceless are only rumoured and not definitively known about by the Resistance.

As Bradford says when you first see one: "We'd heard rumors about some kind of shape-shifters - I'm guessing this is it."
Cato  [ophavsmand] 1. apr. 2019 kl. 13:53
Updated the description and added some new preview posters.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2018 kl. 14:26
December 2018 Update - Please see the change log.

I've been penning new content for my WOTC Backstories mod over the last month, seeing as I have the DEV tools installed I made a little time for an update here too. 169 new lines.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 19. okt. 2018 kl. 10:31
Working fine for me with TLP options + other photobooth mods. :sectoid:
Cato  [ophavsmand] 15. okt. 2018 kl. 15:25
Folks I am testing the mod this week to check for any TLP weirdness. Logically there should be no conflict, as I am merely adding to a text file resource when Photobooth loads.

:spelunky:
Kaldin 21. maj 2018 kl. 11:42
@Cato Heresy: SRY, this and the ARK workshop have taught me one thing: When people fail to grasp something as simple as this(like, things in the description or in this case obviously being for a feature of the expansion), harsh is the only language they get at all. Sure, might be jumping to conclusions, but most of the time people tried to tell them nicely they just would seemingly not get it unless someone was a dick to them.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 21. maj 2018 kl. 11:28
Actually I had forgotten to set WOTC as a required item on the mod page. My apologies D.SHN, this has been corrected - You do indeed need WOTC.

@Yamino, there was no need to be harsh there. Total dick move.
Kaldin 21. maj 2018 kl. 9:46
@D.SHN:.,..photobooth doesn't even exist in non-WOTC, so obviosuly no...you should learn how to "think", seriously.
遊星 21. maj 2018 kl. 8:54
can i use none WOTC xcom2? i mean can i use this mod on vanila
SentySent 4. mar. 2018 kl. 9:44
I see, that's a bummer.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. 2018 kl. 9:05
Also because the SPARK is gender neutral, it selects from my male/female varient solo lines. Again, if I could target the SPARK class I could resolve this problem...
Cato  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. 2018 kl. 9:02
Unfortunately Solo Class Lines are the only thing I am unable to change due to quirks in the Photobooth Engine. Even if you mod the existing class lines for sparks yourself in the localization file the engine fails to pick up the changes, which is why we use loop code to inject new values.

Thus my solo lines are blanket applied to all classes. Hopefully one day this hurdle can be overcome.
SentySent 4. mar. 2018 kl. 8:32
Hey, is it possible to give the SPARKs gender neutral pronouns like they, their and they're on their photobooth solo lines? Mine tend to have feminine pronouns on their photobooth lines even though majority of their voice packs are voiced by male voice actors.
Sevolund 10. feb. 2018 kl. 22:14
Yeah, that was the plan, thank you. For now i have a problem with my toolkit, i need to reinstal it
-_-'
So that will be a bit delayed, sorry
Cato  [ophavsmand] 10. feb. 2018 kl. 6:11
Send me a link here when done and I will add your version into the description :sectoid:
Sevolund 9. feb. 2018 kl. 21:10
Yeah, it's certainly easyer too, beause i think it's better if i do the adjustements. I just thought, like people know you, you done the original...
But it's a lot of words for saying : Okay/
Thank for you agreement. I'll publish it later today then.

And yes, i like your mod :P.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 9. feb. 2018 kl. 20:53
Hello, I am glad you like the mod. You are very welcome to republish this mod in French, I am currently taking a break from modding XCOM.
Sevolund 9. feb. 2018 kl. 18:04
Over ! Finish ! Terminé !
Hey,
Damn, sorry for the joy, but i just finished a (french) translation of your mod. So i wonder if i can send it to you by any way, like that you can publishing it ?
My english is good (hope so Oo) but not perfect, and things can't be translate, like expressions. So i tryed to stay the most accurate possible, sometimes adapted few things.
If you are intereseted, then, contact me ^^
See ya, and thank for your work. Even if... i'll use my translation and not the original

PS: Under few translations, or i must say adapations, i wrote why i've chosen this or that in particulary. If an english speaker, or a french one better than me, want to put something more accurate than me, please feel free.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 2. jan. 2018 kl. 15:26
V1.7.2 is a small Grammar update to American English for all entries.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 1. jan. 2018 kl. 6:33
I talked to some enthusiasts about it last night and I'm willing to eat some humble pie.

Sabre - Historical personal sword, traditionally straight with wide guard, maybe a slight curve.
Saber - Napoleonic cavalry varient with a strong curve, adapted to Europe from the Ottomans 'Kilij'.

Here is a example of a Polish Cavalry Saber fight filmed on a go-pro. It's a nasty weapon designed to inflict rending injuries.

Hey, I bow to your superior knowledge here :) Hadn't heard of HEMA until now, sounds interesting.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2017 kl. 11:23
Heh, like I said, my personal :steamsalty: on martial tradition.
Dragon32 31. dec. 2017 kl. 11:16
@Cato Heresy:
I just loaded the .int in Notepad++ with the Spellcheck plugin set to American English. I'm British myself but for consistency think American English spelling's the way to go. That plugin flagged "saber" as the US English spelling but there we go.
Cato  [ophavsmand] 31. dec. 2017 kl. 11:14
I was on a bit of a caffeine surge so some slips were expected. Thanks for cross-checking!

For the sake of placating my (suspected) mostly American mod user base, I will change the generic modern words like honor, authorized, etc.

'Sabre' is the correct international and historical form. As a licenced HEMA swordsman I will not budge on this. :steamsalty:
Dragon32 31. dec. 2017 kl. 7:18
Hey, Cato Heresy. Spotted some typos (mainly British English spellings):
m_arrSoloALines[43]="Lethal force authorised"
m_arrSoloBLines[28]="Those who act in honour cannot fail."
m_arrDuoBLines[40]="The Crimson Sabres"
m_arrSquadALines[9]="Sabre Seven"
m_arrSquadALines[43]="Know your Saviours!"
m_arrSquadALines[166]="Lethal force authorised"
m_arrSquadBLines[105]="This is the judgement of humanity, scum!"
m_arrSquadBLines[115]="Fear our name, for it is vengance"
Cato  [ophavsmand] 25. dec. 2017 kl. 15:01
Not with my mod. Check out PhotoRebooth mod, that team is actively working on implementing new features.
