Hi habbsy1, I have try quickly and it look to work correctly ! try on a new world perhaps ...
habbsy1 Jan 11, 2018 @ 7:58am
ok is anyone else having the bug where when you place it down it splits apart?
EtanchMouMout  [author] Nov 29, 2017 @ 5:29am
Hi PasteteDoeniel ,sorry for the late answer
Yes , using mod can made this problem sry :(
PasteteDoeniel Nov 26, 2017 @ 10:02am
Do they flip and crash for anyone else or is it because I'm using a Atmospheric drag mod?
EtanchMouMout  [author] Nov 12, 2017 @ 11:46am
thx Bungeetaco ;)
thx Time_of_Day ,
it's , first , a prototype and an experimental orbital vessel , but it can be used to create , from a single point , communication , overwatching / spying and moving respawn point around a planet ... more big or more little , it will be perhaps better and some other purpose could be imagine ! ;)
Time_of_Day Nov 11, 2017 @ 2:30pm
I'm curious, I think this is a great creation and I'd love to use it but I'm not sure what it could be used for in a single players game. Any ideas? Or is it best used in multiplayer games?
Bungeetaco Nov 11, 2017 @ 11:40am
alright everyone has satellite internet now, thanks bud.
EtanchMouMout  [author] Nov 11, 2017 @ 9:23am
Thank's all ;)

Sweet!! now we can get HBO satalite coverage, GG
Honestly though Nov 10, 2017 @ 11:38am
now i can send my drone armies EVERYWHERE
Cloud Nov 10, 2017 @ 10:27am
too may buttons.
still cool
Airomis Nov 9, 2017 @ 2:57pm
now all you need is a way to launch all 9 and have them automaticly space out over the planet, also allow more than 9 so if one is shot down they can move to pick up the slack automaticly =)

Thank's HentaISenpai【DG】, Divinesamurai , Vodkov Kalashnikov , k_medlock , GamerZghost Games and more , for your nice comment ;)

thank's Destroyer_560 ( it's cool for my english :)
thx (a lot) Trozzo , I'm a fan of your creations ! :)
it's a very good news SiXie , thx ;)
thx Incognito , we do what we can with what we have ! ;)
thx Anach , a bigger could be great , ... or a very bigger ( a flying fortress , a town ... !)
Bongo.In.Da.Box Nov 7, 2017 @ 12:41pm
:D iam to stupid to hold it in Position when its up in the air
fishy3402 Nov 7, 2017 @ 12:11pm
very nice! your english is great by the way!
CONS Nov 7, 2017 @ 7:59am
beautiful!
_SD_ Nov 7, 2017 @ 5:39am
@EtanchMouMout: Yes it work!, on different mod planets you must adjust stuff...
Incognito Nov 6, 2017 @ 11:36pm
At first i smiled at "Orbital Atmosferic" (IRL that needs some energy (=fuel) to hold the speed)... But then i remembered that it's Space Engineers.
Anach Nov 6, 2017 @ 11:19pm
I'd like to see a MKII, ever-so-slightly bigger with air-tight compartment, cockpit for launch, manual control, somewhere to sit and look at the view. Needs an auto-levelling script to make it a little more reliable for automation.

@PICKEL PAIN:
Yeah, currently, when you try to orbit a planet, you eventually either reenter atmosphere or fling off into space.
_SD_ Nov 6, 2017 @ 2:14pm
I think is a planet problem use mod planets, while try this on a SE planet. Thanks man! ;)
EtanchMouMout  [author] Nov 6, 2017 @ 2:05pm
@ SiXie , It's strange !? You are well on Earth planet or eventually on "Venus" ( the green planet)... If gyroscop setup is well on 0,0 and 0 (pitch , yaw and roll) it will start verticaly !
Perhaps the gyroscop overide is unlocked !? or it can come from the down solar panel rotor ... (it will be a bug !) ... turn the rotor on off to see or try on a new world !? ... I'm sorry

thx PICKELD PAIN ;)
I havn't see this video , but I have read few discussion on the forum about satellit problem... they "drive" me on the way ;)
An Actual Tiger Tank Nov 6, 2017 @ 1:33pm
pretty cool idea, hopefully Keen puts some kind of function into vanilla that allows us to set up a station or ship to orbit a planet. I seen a youtube video of someone who tried to orbit using the planets natural gravity (like a real satallite), it worked.. sortof, just needed to be going somewhere around 750m/s and it was a rather eratic orbit path that ended in a glorious crater in the side of a mountain.
_SD_ Nov 6, 2017 @ 1:21pm
Thanks on the quick response, i use no button just place it on flat surface and it goes fly away!????
EtanchMouMout  [author] Nov 6, 2017 @ 1:14pm
Thank's Afoekon , thank's Erathanos ;)

@ G'waynir , thx , with 0,0014 on the gyroscop overide the satellite will revolve around Earth planet , but it's approximatly ! The radius of revolution (about 76 km) will be know exactly to determinate the circular arc and then it will be possible to know how many meter the satellite will go down for a determinate horizontal distance and then , have the right value for the gyroscop setup .... (!?)
With less thruster I afraid that it don't fly enought hight to go over the hight montain !
It's needed 12 KG of uranium per reactor and per revolution ( 48 kg )

@ SiXie thx
It should be palaced on an "horizontal" surface (ice lake) and press only the green button (the other will change the gyroscop setup) check if gyro is well on 0 , 0 and 0 before start ( *gyro* group in the begining of the control menu)
I hope it's help you
_SD_ Nov 6, 2017 @ 12:32pm
Nice work BUT!!!!!!!!!! when i place it on flat surface it they fly away and after short time it fell to the ground!???? still nice design! ..Do you have any advice..
Teksorbkyva Nov 6, 2017 @ 9:52am
You could make satellite designs even lighter if there was a way to calculate a stable orbit trajectory. Wouldn't need nearly as many thrusters to keep it up. Still a very awesome design. So, how long can it be kept in the sky? Does the satellite orbit fast enough to keep getting energy from its solar panels without draining its battery completely?
Erathanos Nov 5, 2017 @ 9:49pm
Do not hold in hand, Light fuse, and step away. ( cool design though ) :steamhappy:
Afoekon Nov 5, 2017 @ 7:24pm
I cant wait to try this out, looks awesome!
