the Macana unit got only 1 instead 3 or 4 and when one dies for few sec ther is no unit thens come back again as just one

Oof, loved this civ ages ago, but playing with true start YANMP is a killer, as without the ability to embark units, I'm stuck on an island for 150 turns on epic, with no place to put down a campus.

Would it be possible to make them able to go into the sea from the start? So they don't stay stuck in their starting location for multiple turns on Saph's America map.

Great fun to play. But I must ask: is it intentional that the Batéy does not give adjacency to Theater Squares like a normal Entertainment Complex?

hey sorry if this is a silly question, but by "allied city state" do you mean city state you have suzerainty of ad not just one you send envoys to. I am like 90% sure that is what you mean but just double checking.

It's not game breaking, but the issue with river names is still present. Rivers show up in game as "LOC_NA RIVER_XXXX"

Some of our mods are updated, some aren't. We have quite a few to address, as members work on both CIVITAS mods and personal mods, and some of us are out of commission for reasons. I haven't tested this one since. Could give it a shot.

Benedikt you git! I was loving my 278 influence per turn wtf man now you've spoilt it :D

I wasn't even cancelling anything...but maybe something to do with having a ton of cities capable of completing projects in 1 turn. Which is really painful when there isn't a "build this thing until I tell you otherwise" mechanism in civ VI.

@Benedikt haha well being able to break game mechanics means you're great at QA. Being able to spot these things and report them is always very much appreciated as it helps us to make things better, or at least more robust. Appreciate hearing that man, if time allowed I'd already have everything updated by now so it's nice to hear that support when I feel a bit behind on things :)

Ah you :) thanks for saying so, that's absolutely the aim of the designs - having something a bit unique gives someone a reason to play with them, or at least I think so anyway. It's always really gratifying to hear that others are enjoying these mods, appreciate it dude!

Well I'm excited to hear that there is an upcoming City-States Expanded update!

Interesting to know how the interaction works. Ive encountered the same error in many other mods and games in the past. After a while you get a neck for how to break game mechanics I guess. It's amazing to me how dedicated you are to keep your mods up to date. I hope you get the support you deserve.

My favorite mechanics you put into the game so far are the quarries on grassland (and i noticed you changed the text of the relevant pantheon to show how the interaction works more clearly), the refresh actions on unit upgrade and the stealing of enemy GP-points. These feel like really unique additions to the basegame where other interactions are based more on mechanics that allready exist.

Looking forward to what your going to create in the future. Your Civs are the only ones i found compareable to the ones in the basegame qualitywise so far.

Hey @Benedikt thanks for the feedback. I know exactly what is happening behind the scenes with the way you've described it. Basically what happens is that when you start running the project, it drops in a hidden building that provides the +1 Influence and then removes the building once the project is complete. I never actually accounted for cancelling a project mid-way through so that's an oversight on my part because the hidden building will never be removed until the project is completed. Good find! I'll make sure a fix is in the next update.

As for the +50% type bonuses - I would agree, except it would make it incompatible with the upcoming City-States Expanded update, because Maritime provides +1 Food and +1 Production, and there's no way to get +0.5 through type bonuses unfortunately. However, once the influence thing is fixed, you may find it a little less powerful if you're not swimming in envoys.

Amazing mod. Sadly i encountered a bug during playthrough which pretty much broke the run.

Currently if you start and cancel the Areyto ceremony project in a city your influence points go up every time but never down. So you can just get infinity influence points in a single turn by starting and canceling it over and over. Also the influence point increase doesnt end when the project finishes. So even without this "abuse" the project wouldnt work properly and breaks the game very fast.

Another thing that is not working according to plan is the Taino main passive Guatiao. It currently increases the culture and science buildings but not faith. Cant say if it works for gold.

Otherwise everything worked as intended. Thank you so much for your work

P.s. I think the Guatiao would be balanced at a 50% increase, though again, there are other broken civs. But this way Taino is definatly among the very top end of overpowered.

Hi ! The github link doesn't redirect to anything and the files cannot be found in your git directories either. Would you mind re-uploading older versions (RaF) please ? I enjoyed this civilization (and others that are also missing) a lot, sadly I cannot play it anymore, Gathering Storm being way too expensive for me right now.

@Chimpan'G - I think we can rule out this Civitas mod as the cause of this anomaly because in another play through without Taino activated, Cleo/Egypt became the beneficiary of the same effect. Since Cleo has more than one city, whereas Anacaoa only had one city and no hope of ever using all the GP, I think I will just play this one out and see if I cam buy back or Steal the GW's .

In the game with Anacaoa, it was obvious they would all be lost to the other players (including me).

Bottom line, you are in the clear. I think this one is on Firaxis for failing, in their efforts to completely foolproof the game, to properly consider the ingenuity of complete fools like me!

@rlong9000 thanks for the detailed info! I can't speak for the other mods, but I'll take another look at Anacaona. I wasn't get anything like that from the AI when I played against her myself, and I certainly didn't benefit from a bunch of GPs unfortunately lol. The code from the unique project just mirrors other entries in the tables, and that's the only part that would grant GP points. Her code, the faith discount bit is just 25%, but considering all the bugs I've come across with GS so far, I wouldn't be surprised if a function has been broken somewhere in the background. I'll keep an eye on it though and if I can replicate your issue I'll be sure to fix it, otherwise it might be some random conflict with one of the cheat mods or something.

@Chimpan'G - Continuing:

Turns out that was a coincidence. I rolled back about 15 turns to before the friendship declaration. and when I faith purchased Tesla GE, and.....*BOOM* ......all the rest of the GE's dropped into Taino territory. Scattered all over, not lined up in the city center the way they do for player and (presumably) the other AI players.

Also, I'm using Concise UI and all of its components, including GP add on, so this *might* be on Eudamonia, BUT, Taino has been the only beneficiary of this particular glitch, as far as I can tell.

I'd look at Anacaoa's Entertainment Complex code, because she wasn't even showing up in the top 10 competitors for any of the GP's

So, anyway, as much as I value Anacaoa's presence in the game, She HAS TO SIT IT OUT because she is a much better CHEATER than I am!:steamfacepalm:

@Chimpan'G - I'm really certain the condition was caused or at least exacerbated by the particular Cheat setup I use.

First, please know that I don't consider my setup to be "playing the game", I "sandbox" (using about a hundred mods including CME and Cheat Panel and I run a Cheat Engine trainer) to explore and understand the dynamics of the game, go off on "side excursion" history research, etc. Helps me expand my worldview.

So, in this instance, Teddy was in Modern Era by the time the ancient era ended for all other players. I had my trainer set for infinite faith and was buying up all the GP with faith to fill 55 cities worth of GW slots. I notice entire columns of GP are emptying out and see them all (the GP units) bursting out of Anacaoa's territory. (will send you the Screen shot if you tell me where) I look at her gossip log and see this began to occur immediately upon formal friendship .

@rlong9000 lol 50 GP? No definitely not intended. How were you able to get 50 great people? The only reason I can see that happening is if she suddenly came into a LOT of money or faith and bought a load of great people. However, her code hasn't changed from what she had in the prev-GS version of Taino. When you say you were cheating, what were you doing to cheat?

@Chimpan'G - I have always having Taino as a neighbor to the US, so thank you for Anacaoa and everything else yo add to the game!

Did you intend for Taino to be able to acquire over 50 GP while still in the Ancient Era. I mean, I'm playing as Teddy and OF COURSE I'M CHEATING, But immediately following the turn we befriended, she started adding a GP every turn. She only has one city - you should see the screenshot!

This mod has now been updated for Gathering Storm - please note that the leader is now a separate mod. You will need to subscribe to the Anacaona mod in order for the Taino to show up in the Civ Selection Screen.
