literally just had a skarsnik campaign where belegar had 2 doomstacks rank 1 in strength yet still somehow had a 50% upkeep penalty? yeah no shit, clearly cheating. couldnt deal with that bs literlaly just quit after 35 turns since all my land was taken by doomstack slayer/longbeard armies, where i can only afford 1 good army of gobbos

Update is much needed, base game is unplayable. The AI cheats are just insane and make you never have fun. If you have 10 settlements and they only have 3, they still field 2-3x the army you have + agent spamm and insta rebuild + max out their settlements.

Now some veterans seriously tell me AI wouldn't have unlimmited money :DDD

But yeah, the game is unplayable without this cause CAs just too lazy.

Skimmerlit, i agree, it is annoying when enemy army just respawns out of thin air, i defeated 5 ratmen armies at once, then went for counterattack and in 2 turns their armies were already reformed.

I'm looking forward to the Less Cheats mod. I recently upped my difficulty to VH/VH for the first time, and I was thinking "Oh wow, this isn't that bad. Maybe I'm actually/finally good!"

And then I remembered I installed this forever ago. I disabled it, started a campaign, and promptly got stomped. I'd like campaigns to be harder, but wow VH/VH unmodded was a reality check. Looking forward to harder but not too hard. Love your work <3

I will create a so called less Cheats Mod, but it will take some Time.
Halfing most of the Cheats seems a reasonable Choice so far.

We all feel boring when we see the ai's army in the late.

i recent find that the mods in the steam workshop which reduce the cheats for ai all are not so good.Oh,sadness.

i love this best mod but i always find that the quality of the AI soliders is terrible in the late and players then lose the game interest.

That would be a Balance Thingy, but totally possible.

It also corrects the expertise bonus for AI armies and the fact that they can directly recruit elite troops? sometimes I even often face armies with all elite rank units.

This bonus isn't negated or you simply forgot to put it into the list?

I can kinda understand why CA gives the AI so many buffs after using this mod. Granted I'll still use it from time to time, mainly in campaigns regarding factions I ain't very good with.
