The way the sabotages/recoveries work, as well as the way these levels secretly help you through them, is proving to be a bit of a challenge to replicate; should be able to get there though, fortunately there's a lot of good material to go from :p

i love these maps so much and didnt realise there was a third so im looking forward to trying it!

This map series is awesome! I'm looking forward to a possible future Gelocity 4. This is such a fun game concept that I'm honestly sad at that there are only 3 maps of this kind, and no decent rip offs. It's so good I legit wish it was a standalone mod with a bunch of maps, scoreboards, and possibly, support for more than the standard 2 players.

Me and my sister absolutely adore the Gelocity series - looking forward to a Gelocity 4 if one ever comes out! For some concrete feedback, we love: (1) Tricky shortcuts that you can do with precise timing. (2) Catch up mechanics for if you're too far behind (although maybe it'd be nice to have a way to toggle this on/off?) (3) Obstacles you can use to hinder your opponent (this includes tricks you can use to stop your opponent from just using your portals) - although sometimes these can be underwhelming if you're too far apart.

I want to get everything out of this map, the only thing left is that ping-able door in the "condemned testing area".

I am about to move on, but figure I would ask.

I did exaggerate, but what I meant by center track stoppage was the bits above goo. Also, some of the shortcuts (such as laser room in time trial version) can stop the player because the gel doesn't go all the way to the wall. Honestly, it's probably more on Valve than the map for this.

As for the "portal to the void," I meant goo, of course. The portal surface is in the screenshot here, but was from the time trial version. Interestingly, that surface doesn't exist. Too much power given to last place imo. Most of the traps are completely unusable when in the lead and the time lost by having to go around (especially with the lasers) easily lets last catch up and win because you missed a single portal. Also: gel doesn't cover entire walkable surface (I get that the edges shouldn't have it, but if I'm walking down center path I shouldn't have my momentum completely stopped. Portal to the void as well, why? To screw up people with little experience?

If you and a friend go in blind and play a single round then it's enjoyable, but passed that you know how to abuse the map way too much and it just gets annoying. It's like playing Mario Kart but everybody has a blue shell.
