This Gelocity maps are pretty large (map and file size) so it takes some time to download them. If you try to play it before it's downloaded or if the download didn't work properly, then you can't play. Sometimes restarting Steam helps. If this doesn't fix the problem, try to unsubscribe and then subscribe again to the map (Both of you need to subscribe to the map).
