Needs another 50 tickets for the attacker, and the spawns need to be moved closer after taking India, Also Apha is basically impossible to defend

Great map but the engine isn't up to it, frame drops are noticeable even on a high end machine.

To be fair the engine is so undergunned even the more complex official maps suffer from bad stuttering (if not low fps) in any areas with complex geometry.

But a designer needs to temper what they can do against what their tools can.

Hi Tyler, played your map after long time and the amount of work you put into the details it is huge. Great fkin work mate. Only issue I have and had since the beta is that VC can put the tunels wherever they want, even far behind the objective they are currenty attacking and once its captured they basicaly have tunels right next to obj that will open and can cap it instantly. Better defined zones for tunel placement and this would be a perfect map. :AceofSpades:

Ive enjoyed this map for a while now and on both sides of the battle. This map should be offical over resort imo.

This map is really good only problem I had that i had the sound of the cave when i left the cave the outside was echoing like I was in the cave.

I still don't know what you're talking about. The final objective is for all players not just pilots.
There is plenty of spawns to choose from for either faction on this map.

Let me clarify a bit.

Point 1 here I meant as the respawn point at the air base (behind the loach). So if your team is still defending B and C, and TL uses rapid deployment while your SL is dead, you'll automatically spawn on that point.

Committing console suicide then respawning in the correct spawn point is much faster than walking from that Point 1 to objective B or C.

So is it possible to exclude Point 1 as only accessible for combat pilots?

When your SL dies and you're rapid deployed, you'll be thrown into Point 1 automatically, which just begs for console suicide especially if you're still defending objectives B and C.

I adore this map, it plays well and makes good use of large open areas, but it’s hard to play when sometimes my frames drop

To be completely truthful, I'm not sure what to do about that. I've actually already optimized it once, but I think I will attempt to make another optimization pass.

Current observations as of 4/24/2018: The map is very nearly balanced although I still personally believe it to favor VC slightly based on my observations. I think this is simply a ticket problem though. The US don't have enough tickets. (Barely)

There is updates coming soon for this map. The map is 99% done itself but it does have some lingering issues. Trust me they will be ironed out.

its a great map, with two major issues.. first being poor FPS and the second that Viets can place tunnels so forward, that once taking D for example, they already got tunnel near E and can take it easily.. if it was a bit smaller, would be perfect

You may want to add in a curve in the breachable cave or have slightly better lighting be placed on the defender's position.

Just played this for about an hour. I have to say, without a doubt this is the best custom map I've played next to Firebase Georgina. Amazing job on this one my dude. Although it felt kinda grindy for the PAVN team, perhaps the US team was just good, not sure.

Heli spawn is pretty instant even with one heli spawn. The reason for the two Heli spawns is as follows: The airbase gets attacked and the loach pilot has a hell of a time taking off, this is intentional, however it would be a total no challenge to prevent the loach from taking off if you knew which helipad it was taking off from each time.

Hey Tyler, I do think however the one pilot position but the two loach spawns are a bit op. We had a game where there was an amazing loach pilot, and every time we shot him down he used the 2nd heli spawn. We had just bird after bird with no downtime really besides his spawn timer. Thanks!

The loach is primarily meant to be a recon support aircraft

Another point on the loach's given, Ive seen a couple other maps do a similar thing of having 1 or 2 combat pilots but given the option of either both in say a cobra or one in a cobra and the other in a loach. Ive never really understood why map makers do this, balancing? but to be honest I almost feel like two loach pilots would be acceptable for Jungle Raid, esspecially since being able to kill with the loach is nearly impossible unless you're lucky or just that good.
