Make sure you're running the Highlander and try True Primary Secondaries instead.
Keeping the above message for new ppl coming here, as I stupidly missed it when downloading, and now i have duplicates. Does anyone know how to remove the duplicate secondary/primaries that were created? Otherwise Guess I'll jsut have to live with duplicates existing
Edit: It sorted itself out with downloading this :> I am blessed. But be aware that if you equip any duplicated pistols and when you make the swap, you may just str8 up lose the pistols with attachments on them! Happened to me! My Phalanx class soldier was infiltrating a mission and when the mission started they had no pistol! That mission wooped my ass...
Ignore the the dependencies that say to use this mod. I've noticed that most mods havent been updated in a few years hence probably why dependencies say to use this one :>
Ask for how? If it's AML's dependencies you're talking about those are built from the mod's Workshop page and need the author to update them. A lot of authors don't create mods for XCOM 2 anymore.
Yeah, I forgot this is why I stopped playing my campaign, cause it was getting tedious to have to do this.
I always clear the active squad, then click all the "make utility/weapons/armour available" buttons, then rebuild my squad and equip what I want. Which means everyone not in the active squad gets given an autopistol.
This was also annoying when I got the UFO encounter, and then when they throw more soldiers in from the "reserve", they all have autopistols.
Any fix?
I would love to switch over, but doing so just feels bad when I look in my character pool, for example, and my characters marked Akimbo don't use the actual Akimbo armory animations, which they *do* with this version of the mod. Or when my soldiers promote into Akimbo or Stormrider, but keep their rookie Assault Rifle equipped. And with Musashi on Hiatus, I don't see these issues getting fixed any time soon.
Do you need this if you sub to 'True Primary Secondaries' instead? Judging by a few posts down, it doesn't sound like it but I want to make sure. Plus, the AML states missing dependencies if you don't sub to this one.
Help Please!
1. Many abilities do not work with the primary pistol (Shredder, Holo-Targeting, etc)
2. The pistol frequently jumps out of the unit's hand when firing from cover
If anyone has already worked out a fix for this I would really appreciate it.
