victorguezESP Jan 17, 2019 @ 10:14am
Thank you :)

Can this mod work with the Caesarean Romans with Extravaganza models you also made?
austria-HRE Dec 24, 2018 @ 6:07am
This is amazing
Big Boss Aug 20, 2018 @ 1:04pm
Does this work with Rise of the Republic?
Vikingstyle Aug 1, 2018 @ 7:33am
Nice, could you also do a carthage reskin?
RobbStark  [author] Mar 22, 2018 @ 3:37pm
Glad it's working ok!
LordKamikaze Mar 17, 2018 @ 1:27pm
I just found out what the problem was , I had an EVEN older mod that was colliding into this one , so Rome 2 couldn't start up , but thanks again for going through the trouble of checking
LordKamikaze Mar 17, 2018 @ 12:50pm
My Total war launcher says that this mod is out of date , I can choose to enable out of date mods but this one seems to make Rome 2 stuck on the loading screen.
RobbStark  [author] Mar 17, 2018 @ 12:36pm
What's been the trouble?
LordKamikaze Mar 17, 2018 @ 12:25pm
I tried fiddling around with the mod and Rome 2 , but apparently this mod is 'out of date' so I have some trouble trying to get this mod to work
RobbStark  [author] Mar 15, 2018 @ 9:56am
Anyone who's struggling to get this working with the latest patch - I've recently reinstalled RTW2 and this pack is working fine, far as I can tell.
A similar problem happened with the last patch whereby updating with mods already installed caused issues with the game. Since I've got a fresh install of RTW2 and then applied mods, that's probably why I can't see any issues.
LordKamikaze Mar 11, 2018 @ 5:45am
Well , I guess there isn't much you can do against CA , but thanks anyway
RobbStark  [author] Mar 10, 2018 @ 11:26pm
Dammit. CA are really fucking with mods. I can't promise anything, mate. Really busy at the moment and the free time I have, I like to just play games rather than mod them.
LordKamikaze Mar 10, 2018 @ 8:24am
Please update this so it is combatible for Rome 2's new update
dylantwalsh Dec 16, 2017 @ 10:23am
The units must have been a mod conflict. I deleted all mods and reinstalled my game with only this mod. All units have proper colored shields. However the shields of the generals on the campaign map are still white. (Grand Campaign as Juli-Rome) Libo's and Scipio's shields are both white. Maybe thats how they are supposed to be?
RobbStark  [author] Dec 16, 2017 @ 12:54am
dylantwalsh - I've just had a look myself and I've been unable to find the white shield problem you've mentioned. Likely it's either a mod conflict or a problem with the installation of patch 18. Which units have the white shields?
dylantwalsh Dec 14, 2017 @ 2:22pm
I just dicovered this mod, and i am ALL about it! I tested it out with P18 and it mostly works. The shields for certain units are white in color however, along with the shields of the generals on the campaign map. I would love it if you would be willing to update this please

Merci!
juanliam Dec 2, 2017 @ 9:05am
Superbe.
RobbStark  [author] Dec 1, 2017 @ 5:38am
Thanks, man, glad you like it. The Romans depicted here are actually from the golden era of the Republic (when they were still using the manipular system) - so from just before the Punic Wars through to the conquest of Greece.
Lucius Cornelius Barbatus Dec 1, 2017 @ 12:09am
Wow! This must be like super early Roman Republic. And not lying, this looks pretty spectacular.
RobbStark  [author] Nov 16, 2017 @ 7:36am
Hey, mate! Sorry for the slow reply. Neat idea, but it's not really something I'm interesed in doing myself. If you have access to the PFM, you could quite easily do this yourself though. I haven't had a look at the Romans REBORN pack file myself, but I believe it should be as simple as making a copy of it, then opening up said copy and deleting the variantmesh definitions folder. Then you can run that pack and my one at the same time and it should use Kaziel's unit cards but keep the same units as in my mod.
aubreycw Nov 8, 2017 @ 5:51am
Robb. PLEASE answer back about the unit cards, man....
aubreycw Nov 6, 2017 @ 5:00pm
Man. I thought so. Well hey-I have an odd request: You know the mod "Kaziel's Romans REBORN"? I LOVE the unit cards for that mod. Any chance you could copy those unit cards for THIS mod?
RobbStark  [author] Nov 6, 2017 @ 12:58pm
Far as I know, yes. I haven't tested it myself, but since they both modify the same units, it's pretty much a given. Sorry, mate!
aubreycw Nov 5, 2017 @ 11:47am
Will this clash with Kaziel's Romans?
RobbStark  [author] Oct 2, 2017 @ 6:03am
Interesting. I'll look into it. I'm going to be quite busy these next few weeks, so no promises.
MEXI Oct 1, 2017 @ 5:38am
If that can help you :)
MEXI Oct 1, 2017 @ 5:35am
Hey I found the link where one can see the soldiers of Caesar that is what they look like and their shields : https://mundusbellicus.fr/bibliotheque/Strategie_et_Tactique/Total_War_Rome_2/Haegemonia/Release/004.jpg
MEXI Oct 1, 2017 @ 5:30am
And can you make two mod one for DEI and a other for people do not have DEI like Peter Connolly's Roman Republic please :)
MEXI Oct 1, 2017 @ 5:28am
Thank but i can't play the mod don't work and the links don't work i think i wait you're mod for caesarean romans :). When you can put you're mod on workshop ?

Have a look at the True Legions mod, my friend. It modifies the Caesarean Romans so they look much closer to historical reality. There is a vanilla version linked in the description too if you want to check that out.
Making a Caesarean pack is actually something I'm quite interested in doing, but I'm waiting till 2.0 of True Legions is released first (which is apparently going to be some time this weekend).
MEXI Sep 30, 2017 @ 5:22am
that's why I love your mod because it is both for what have the DEI and for that do not have it and for that thanks.
MEXI Sep 30, 2017 @ 5:21am
it is possible to have another style for the legionnaire because I noticed that they were horrible in the basic game: the shield was not like that they had a shape like for hastatis and helmet n ' was not like that they look more like Gaulish helmet of elsewhere the Romans were inspired by Gallic. the only mod that fixes these errors are only for DEI or for the radious.
RobbStark  [author] Sep 28, 2017 @ 9:27am
Oh yeah, completely agree. I do love his art style though.
Petellius Sep 28, 2017 @ 7:20am
He's pretty darn accurate, but he still took some artistic license is all I'm saying xD
RobbStark  [author] Sep 28, 2017 @ 6:04am
Thanks, man! Full credit to Kaziel, Atilla and the DeI guys though - I've just edited a few things.
On the subject of Connolly, he stuck very solidly to archaeological evidence and contemporary accounts for the basis of his illustrations of mid-Republican Romans and I think he may have been on to something. I will concede that a lot of his ideas about Imperial kit has been disproven by recent evidence, however (the whole "only legionaries wore segmentata being one example).
Petellius Sep 28, 2017 @ 1:02am
Wow, these look amazing! I'm not 100% convinced about the accuracy of connoly's work but even still these look a lot more accurate than 90% of things on the mod forums!
RobbStark  [author] Sep 27, 2017 @ 12:12pm
Thanks, Basil!

Mr. Bluecoat, of course! Just make sure you send me a link when you've uploaded so I can have a watch.

Beautiful work.

Permission to use this in my YouTube videos?

Ty wolfhead, i will test it now
RobbStark  [author] Sep 26, 2017 @ 2:34pm
Done. Your early Triarii should now have swords.
RobbStark  [author] Sep 26, 2017 @ 2:18pm
I just released what you mean. They're supposed to use their swords when they fight aren't they. I'm an idiot. I'll add them in.
