Hello, I have a lot of errors like
Could not resolve cross-reference to Verse.ThingDef named Corpse_TyrannosaurusRex (wanter=thingDefs)
in starting

Best working verison is Giddy Up 2 Forked rn, will it work with it anyway?

As 1.5 the patches for A dog said and Giddy up are not included.

so far all the dinos I have seen can do 2 eggs per year. Is this correct? I would assume some dinos could lay alittle more eggs like the raptors. I can see rexes being maybe 2 a year but I think raptors being a pack dino would atleast do 4-6 eggs a year. I could be dumb and am missing something xD. Any info or help would be great!

Does this mod also have patches with Vanilla Genetics Expanded?
trying to pick between the two, but the deciding factor is going to be whether i can make some dinosaur hybrids for my new geneticist playthrough

If I may humbly request, my favorite dinosaur be added. The Ceratosaurus. I honestly would love to see one made in the Rimworld art style and get to play in the game.

There's a mod called "Choose Wild Animal Spawns" for exactly what you're asking. It was suggested before, and I considered it, until that mod came out.

Could you possibly add a slider for a multiplier chance of dinosaur appearing? Just like megafauna with it's multiplier chance

why does the stegosaurus do only 11 damage per hit with horrendous dps?

Why can i train the veggie dinos like a brontosaurus to attack/defend if it is stuck in it's pen and doesn't follow when drafted etc xD

It should not be a problem. The mod just adds Def files that are non-essential. When removed, the items just disappear or rarely change into another idem or just simply appear as pink squares (depends on circumstances). It affects nothing really.

A question. Can this mod be removed from the save? With some tinkering maybe? Asking because of incompatibility between prehistoric and combat extended. Would use prehistoric but the errors are not a joy, so wanna enable this one until prehistoric is patched for CE. But then switch mid-save. Is that possible?

Same problem with A Dog Said 2 -- it doesn't seem to bug out or anything, just can't replace my poor dino's claws

I see that it says it's compatible with A Dog Said in the description, but is it compatible with A Dog Said 2? I'm having trouble making my ultimate army of cyberdinosaurs.

I just wanted to drop a "thank you", because this mod has always been in my mod list, even with Biomes! Prehistoric around. Thanks for keeping this updated. Love you, hugs.

Also, updated and did a quick test, from what I gather, no core functionality has been added or changed with the new DLC.

The actual "updating" took me 1 minute to be honest, it only involves updating the About file and adding the new version number.

I can hear the "did I wait for a week just for this ffs?" and you're not wrong, but I always double-check if any major changes have been introduced on animal and body part Defs entries, and do a very quick and dirty test by spawning each dinosaur real quick.

@Spincrus: Just to be clear, I don't think you're obliged to do anything, and I thank you for doing this work for free. I just think this mod is better than the alternatives.

Yeah everyone is waiting with baited breathe for there favorites. This one, colony manager, and hospitality are what I am waiting for. Just watched The Beekeeper. Is wasn't bad. Thats a compliment when it comes to movies now a days. Much love Spin.

I'll update it over the weekend. I always wait for a week for updates. I haven't played Anomaly yet since I'm still waiting for all my favorite mods to update, but it seems a new save will be required going forward.

Just joining my voice with many others: I vastly prefer this mod to Biomes:Prehistoric

I think I prefer this mod to the Prehistoric Biomes because a different in stats. CMIW but this mod gives the Dinos greater stats so when you get a T-rex that's a tremendous boon.

biomes prehistoric has comparability with vanilla genetics expanded although not every dinosaur will count, like for some strange reason i don't think wuerhosaurus counts

@-HoK- Cian I think Sarg did a patch for it? I could be wrong but I believe he did

Hello Spincrus, I love your mod. Particularly the compatability that has always been maintained with Genetics Expanded. Do you know if the new Prehistoric Mod will have the same compatibility with the genetics stuff?

Thank you so much, spincrus, for maintaining the mod. I love it and am using it since the first release.

As the description reads, I WILL maintain this mod for new releases as much as possible (although not as quickly as possible as before) since I know that there are many who still prefer Dinosauria due to various reasons, although myself am using Biomes:Prehistoric on my own games.

Due to the love I've poured into this mod and the love its subscribers have shown it throughout the years, I will maintain it as long as possible. This mod will not meet the end that Megafauna faced (although Sarg is doing a fantastic job updating it, but the main modmaker has abandoned everything).

it says in the description its still being updated though? "Dinosauria will still be maintained for future versions and expansions of RimWorld, but no new features will be added..." Has the creator went back on this or has something else happened?

thank you for all these years of fun with your mod! It was one of my favorites and I always got a smile, when dinosaurs entered my map!
Will now be switching over to Biomes! Prehistoric, see ya there! :)

@The Bard of Hearts: This is correct, neither of the two mods are still being updated so the compatibility no longer exists. Iirc Draegon's Biomes! Prehistoric might still work with A Dog Said, but the animals are slightly different and the B:P mod is somewhat larger. Up to you whether you decide it's worth it, Megafauna is still compatible with A Dog Said via patches done on their side so it is still possible at the very least.
