Do Tactical Suppressors enhance Reapers' innate ability, by reducing their Reaper Reveal Chance? Or do they non-bo?

I have no clue if it's just a coincidence, but I decided to disable this mod on my new campaign and since then I haven't found a single repeater. Does simply disabling this mod "deletes" the repeaters from the game?

Maybe I'm just stupid, but is there any reason to use the ambush ability over just shooting them? Because it seems like either way you have a chance of getting revealed, despite what the ingame description says.

I’d love a config option that makes this not replace vanilla repeaters but instead just make tactical suppressors independent, new weapon mods.

There is an inconsistency in the localization of the ambush ability description. In game it says, "If you kill the target you remain concealed," but in the mod description (and the functionality of the mod), it indicates that there is only a chance for concealment. I think it would be cool if it really did retain concealment with a kill. It would help make stealth a more viable game play option as well.

Update: This is definitely very consistent behavior. I always save when I start a mission now as every time an advent trooper shoots I get this crash. I then resubscribe to this mod and load the save and then no more crash for the rest of that mission. Then the next mission it will happen again. Very odd. But at least I have a work around now.

Keep getting crash to desktop and and event from this mod is the last thing in the logs. It kept happening on one mission, so I unsubscribed and resubscribed to this mod and when that trooper fired, it didn't crash again for the rest of the mission. But the next mission, I'm getting this crash again when a trooper shoots with the same thing in the logs. Seems odd that it'd start happening again if it was an issue with the mod not downloading correctly or something after I seemed to fix it. Not sure if it's some other mod that mods the advent trooper and just causing corruption or something. Just wanted to put this here just in case someone else saw this as well.

I love this mod, but I am not sure it is working correctly with LWOTC. The tooltip says a kill will remain concealed but I seem to lose concealment like half the time (using ambush). Do I need to use elite suppressor to get that effect?

Was playing this with LWOTC and the ambush never activates. Ill set it up enemies will move, well within my shooting range and my units just never fire when in ambush overwatch. Otherwise love this mod, and your other mods they play a big part in my modded runs!

@RadzteK If you look in the mod description, it will say:
"Ambush
Overwatch a single target with Covering Fire. This attack may critically hit.
You have a chance to remain concealed."

Key word: "chance"

The description ingame is wrong, and should be changed. Idk how to change it myself. I am pretty sure that if you do kill the target, the chance of being detected lowers significantly, however every shot/kill will still raise the detection chance, just like reapers. The tier of the suppressor and weapon you are using will also greatly affect the chances of detection. This is probably so you don't just stealth kill the entire map. I do not know if returning back to stealth resets the detection chance or not. If you do want to stealth kill the entire map, your best bet is to bring a full squad of soldiers skilled in remaining in stealth with advanced or superior suppressors, as I am pretty sure it tracks everyone separately.

The suppressor description says when using the 'Ambush' ability, i won't get revealed if i killed the target, but every third or fourth shot i consistently get revealed every-time even tho i killed the target. Am i missing something here?

I've always run with this mod in LW2 but for LWOTC this version worked for me up until lwotc build 3.3 approx. After that (I'm now at dev 28.2) the initial chance to reveal was always 100% for a basic suppressor.
If I hit and kill it drops to 50. Before lwotc build 3 (and in the LW2 version if I recall correctly) it was 50 dropping to 25 for a kill. I'm able to roughtly get it to work by modifying the
XComStealthOverhaul file. Changing the ConcealmentLoss values from 0,-10,-20 to -50,-60,-70 seems to get it to work roughly as intended. There is still an issue with killing last pod
member not resetting the chance to reveal and the chance to reveal does not seem to drop over time either. Not sure if this is down to a mod conflict or changes to the stealth system which LWOTC made around the same time. Has anyone else experienced this same issue?

For LWOTC it seems to work for me too, but there is a problem with the Reaper Class.
Everytime i hpress the attack button on a Reaper with suppressor attached while iam concealed (start of the misson normaly) and go back from the aiming visuals the screen now is stuck in this appearance. Its all dark accept a tiny light dot at the right corner. Like the Reaper visuals when you are in shadow and shot somebody. Thats not so nice but its not gamebracking. Just leave the suppressors for others classes i think.

Same issue as Cross, no Suppressor to be found, tons of repeaters though. Any conflicts aside from Better Attachments that we should know about?

This mod is not replacing the repeater anymore. 50 hours into the game and still no supressor to be found.
Please fix it, this mod used to be amazing!

Yeah if I kill something I still role a concealment chance, even though the ability description for Ambush says you will remain concealed if the ability kills the enemy. Not sure if this is just a problem with this mod itself though or a compatiblity issue with Musashi's Stealth Overhaul

Ambush is not working correctly. I am killing the target with ambush but I am losing concealment (about 50% of the shots). This is on any mission (guerrilla ops, supply raid etc).

The name of the weapon upgrade isn't the point. It still gives the changed "shadow" icon and the extra ability to ambush an enemy

I have this mod and PGO Weapons Upgrade Addon and I cannot craft Suppressors. I still have repeaters. Is there anything I can do to just have the Suppressors?

Think i found a bug. The game locks into an endless suppression loop sometimes when an ADVENT MEC fires, apparently thinking it has a Tactical Suppressor.

I'm not even sure WHY this mod is checking for it on enemy units in the first place >.<
