I've made a mod that's a lot better than this but due to Paradox policies I can't publish. PM if you're interested.

Groussherzog Henri vu Pate...........I am an administrator with The WWII Simulation Mod. Question Sir, are you under direct contract with RT56?
We would very much like it, if it was possible to use this amazing mod in our major mod, with apprpoiate Credit given to yourself and a direct link from our workshop to yours. Please let me know if this interests you, or, if you have no interest. Thank you for your time. You can see about us here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1326740798

Robute Gulliman 23. feb. 2018 kl. 21:28
this makes bigger divisions but it does not adjust countrys base manpowers so when i start as the british i have abousoutley no man power and only a few divisions have enough men
Human72 1. dec. 2017 kl. 12:32
but you know what i mean man beyond the myith part the arms use is not close enough to historical like use. the ammount of arms is not scaled up to reflect this is what i am getting at. :| come on guys you know this matter.

The comment below mine is a myth.

the one thing i noticed in here. when you look at the equipment etc. how could 1,000 rifles and other gear be able to equip the whole division? should the weapon count be scaled up preportionally? the soviets had that issue with more manpower then equipement with units going in to battle with nothing in there hands.

Well, in reality, manpower was a huge issue in WW1. If France actually puts up a decent fight, you might not be able to successfully launch Barabarossa. This mod definitely ups the dificulty a bunch.

I had fun times with Communist France. My plan was to knock them out quickly, like in the actual war. Well, I won, but I lost a LOT of manpower. Barbarossa was pretty much out of the question. To be fair, it was my first WW2 campaign. I honestly should have just waited. France was my biggest trade partner, after all.

Anyways, good mod, thanks for posting.

As it often is with mods that try to alter certain mechanics that vanilla does less than is desired, you really need to add some techs or decision events related to manpower if this is going to work properly. I understand the mod's goals and agree with them, but countries like Germany and Japan (who have manpower problems in vanilla) would really benefit from some way to invest in the manpower they innately lack.

If I remember correctly, HOI3 did this with agricultural techs - and while that's not necessarily what is needed here - this is one of those things where trying to fix one flaw creates several more.

Alternatively, thee Volunteer conscription law could be changed to be related to national unity or political popularity rather than a base manpower percentage? More national unity or political support = more patriotic volunteers? This could help early manpower problems, but obviously only up to a point. When the patriots dry up, then it's time to start conscripting.

@CT-5555: I might have misunderstood what you meant by your first comment. This mod drastically increases the amount of casualties on all sides in war, to make manpower more relevant and important in the game and also to make the casualties more realistic. Go to the original mod (bottom link in the description above) to read the full mod explanation and description. So the number of casualties and army sizes are higher, if that is what you meant.
Drunken 9. sep. 2017 kl. 12:45
Oh is that what this is? Is manpower availability increased for each country?
Erik  [ophavsmand] 9. sep. 2017 kl. 12:15
@CT-5555: You found it! :)
Drunken 9. sep. 2017 kl. 10:06
I was looking for a mod that kept gameplay exactly the same but made the numbers larger. Because I like the feel of RT56 as is but want the realistic numbers
Alomoes 8. sep. 2017 kl. 18:51
but why would they add a submod to a mod when not everyone would like what the submod does?
marrioman13 8. sep. 2017 kl. 4:17
they might approach you to add it in i it's fully compatible
