I like this mod, but a different issue is the armor on the Avenger looks odd on some classes (notably Skirmisher and Templar as they don't simultaneously have their Ripjack and Gauntlet equipped at the same time and it causes those sections of their body to be missing or armor-less).
I use a different similar mod to this (AllArmorAvenger) that allows them to have armor equipped on the Avenger but also adds a left/right arm texture you can use so the Templar looks normal. And for the Skirmisher I use a forearm texture from another mod. Everyone at least looks uniform this way
War of the Chosen
NOT war of the chosen!
NOT WotC!
I know that is the exact opposite of this mod but thought there might be related code.
edit: Hmm, although now I think of it, the last instance of this I noticed was affecting a Reaper, so might be a case of the faction-specific issue I have seen mentioned elsewhere.
(It was Fortress protects against Frost Damage or something like that.)
This worked for me. I learned this from the Full Crew Avenger mod, so credit to Mertius.
This mod is supposed to make them wear whatever custom outfits you've set for them while on the Avenger.
now i have headless Soldiers running around.
anyone knows a fix?
There are several overall cosmetic mods that grant Left/Right/Both Arms cosmetics, such as the Tactical Legacy Pack/Resistance Warrior Pack/Anarchy Pack, which are mods by Spart:

There are also cosmetic ports of the EU/EW armors by Kablamm0fish which can be a cosmetic get-around to the Templar's missing armpieces due to his Psiblades being weapons, not armor.

通过IsSoldier检查来捕获所有可以在游戏中使用的士兵。
Villainy aside, it would be neat if there was a "random armor" variant on this that had a percent of soldiers randomly selected to make it feel more alive (like they're coming back from missions or exercises or whatever).
Templars don't have their arms with this mod activated. Reason? Their gauntlets ARE THEIR WEAPONS therefore not part of their armour. Absolutely minor I know but a bit jarring to stare at.
That is common knowledge when dealing with mods for XCOM 2 and most people on here are aware of how to purge persistent mod effects :P
To anyone trying to remove conflict effects that seem to persist after this mod is uninstalled this worked for me: Delete the game config folder from \Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\ and let the game rebuild it on the next restart. I had to redo my graphics settings but it fixed my game.
Unfortunately I don't know WHY it did or didn't start working, only that as soon as I made those edits to the WotC configs (While still being subbed to this version) and I loaded up a campaign in progress everyone had their armor on in the Avenger. The only two mods I subbed to between this one not working were Kasumi/Thessia.
Question: do you have the original version of this mod still subscribed? Because that literally does nothing with only this mod installed.
Under your \Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config:
1. Open XComEngine.ini
a. Under [Engine.ScriptPackages] put:
NonNativePackages=WearArmourOnAvenger
2. Open XComGame.ini
a. At the bottom put:
[WearArmourOnAvenger.X2DownloadableContentInfo_WearArmourOnAvenger]
DLCIdentifier="WearArmourOnAvenger"
In each of those files the Config options for anything Armour/Avenger were missing. Upon reload the mod is working for me again now.
Will troubleshoot a few more things but if anyone else has any suggestions they'd be appreciated.
Recently started a new game and everything has reverted back to wearing Underlays on the Avenger. I've Unsubbed/Resubbed, cleared cache, all the usual stuff and still no dice.
looks like it's just Templar, though as mods get updated for WoTC, that's fairly easy to fix, given they'll be compatible with the Templar, like the Tali, Shepard, Liara and so on ones already are.
