The only things about this set that are worth mentioning are the 'cobra' flags on the sides of veno's head and the ward. Other than that, the other pieces are really corny (the claws and back stingers are tied for the worst item I've ever seen. They both look like last minute 'i-need-to-complete-this-set-somehow', ideas).

I agree that this set has two separate pieces clashing together, I'd say that is exactly what Venomancer is. He's not one or the other, a mix of deadly predators. Loving the set, especially the stingers and rattlesnake tail. The spell looks adorable and deadly, too.

The claws look a little too big. Other than that it's pretty darn good.

Thanks man, I agree but could not think of anything with a better fit so I aimed for merging these two together. While the competition still has some time left I do not and the rest of my work is calling.

The set doesn't look very cohesive, it looks like you have two items sets merged into one. You have the claws and scorpion stingers which look like they belong in a scorpion themed set and the head slot and tail which look very fitting for a snake/cobra set.

I didn't even notice the mandibles until I came to this collection page and saw them listed. They look nice, they work for either set.

I think you need to go back to the drawing board for the claws and stingers, I'm not sure what you can do, but they need to appeal more to the snake/cobra aesthetic rather then scorpion. To be honest, you can cut them out and still be over the 3 item count that polycount requires for the contest, it might be your best move considering they don't work at all with the theme of the set.


Don't take this the wrong way, they are very well made items and look great, but the claws and stingers don't go very good with the set.
