use this with recurve longbows mod by Grantiz and you have a good sniper

Perfect for my reaper/contractor character, who wields both bow and sickle, and wears the contractor armor. Now if only i could find a mod that included all sneak attacks into the backstab, or at least 2-handed. then again, with the name backstab, it makes sense, but still.

I'm showing "Assassin's Blade" as requiring level 50 Sneak, but I was able to purchase it having only level 42. On my last playthrough, I also didn't have to select "Light Foot" or "Ambush" to get "Deadly Aim." Last playthrough, though, I didn't start the game with the mod enabled so I don't know how that sorted out. Far as I know, I don't have any other mods that affect the Sneak or Marksman trees.

@Fatum The sneak attack with the bow is actually one less if you go the 2-H way and one more if you go the 1-H way.

I understand and like the changes to marksman.. but I dont get your changes to sneak... it makes the sneak attacks with bow even further away, and adds 2 handed weapon damage as a pre-req? also adding tiers to muffled movment? seems like odd choices to me.. but I guess it's balanced at least.

this is an awesome mod, i like the skyrim perk trees but the marksmen and sneak always left me wanting that little bit more :p

Thanks.

If I may humbly make a suggestion, please try some of my other mods. I would suggest the Random Variable Perks and NPC Hearts mods

Again, thanks

I've been playing with this mod for quite a while, it is very fun, indeed.
I love shooting with a bow in the game, I'm very good at it indeed, the only problem is my computer isn't quite the best, and I can only see them rather close! :(

Thank you for your swift reply!

Aye, I had another look at the screenshots and I noticed that the Archery levels required for most of those perks are different from vanilla:
- Critical Shot 1/3 available at 30 Archery (unaltered)
- Critical Shot 2/3 available at 65 Archery (instead of 60)
- Critical Shot 3/3 available at 95 Archery (instead of 90)
- Steady Hand 1/2 available at 45 Archery (instead of 40)
- Steady Hand 2/2 available at 95 Archery (instead of 60)

So... errrm... woops, I should have noticed that the first time around... I see it clearly now and I feel rather silly for having bothered you with those questions :s

I am positive I altered them. Please look at the details in the screen shots. They are changed. I am sorry if it came out that I added new perks in those spots. Altering was done. Again, look at the SS

Three ranks for Critical Shot and two ranks for Steady Hand are listed among the changes made by this mod, but I'm sure both perks already had those ranks to begin with. The screenshots provided above also show the vanilla effects and values for Critical Shot as well as Steady Hand... (reference: http://store.steampowered.com )

My point being if both perks appear to remain unaltered by this mod, why list them as if they have been changed? Or did you make subtle changes, which are neither adressed in the description nor shown on the screenshots?

If you truly made subtle changes, I would like to know more about them. Now that I've got that remark/question out of the way, I must say that the extra ranks for Quick Shot and Bullseye are great additions at master difficulty. Not mention the new Ambush perk, which adds some welcome variety the ranger niche!

Thank you for this idea "(NEW) Ambush: This is a new perk that multiplies two-handed sneak attacks. " Great idea, at least for my character.
Palorius  [author] Feb 18, 2013 @ 4:23am
The whole point is to expand the Hunter class, which has some elements of sneak. This isn't an Archery mod; It's a Hunter mod. Hunters are heavy stealthers. The sneak needed alteration to fit my vision. I'm sorry you don't like my stealth tweak, but it needs to stay as is especially because of the sneak multiplier. I might look into creating an archery only mod later, but then that would be a different mod. Apologies

@mythic, x24 seems kinda cheaty to me. x15 on a legendary knife is downright lethal as it is...
Mythic Inferno Dec 9, 2012 @ 6:27pm
Yeah i was hoping this would stack but instead it made the sneak perk tree shitty, cause it took away the best perk ever for me and thats 24x sneak damage with a knife and replaced it with ambush that kinda ruins it for me thats why im going say pass
Ludrin Dec 9, 2012 @ 4:36pm
@mydah42 You've obviously never played a Fallout game.
Eggy Dec 9, 2012 @ 7:41am
@mydah42: Yeah, but what about Fallout :3
Percival Dec 8, 2012 @ 7:46pm
@screamBrandt: Thats exactly the problem. either uninstall the master of perks mod or put Markmenship expansion later in the load order, thereby overriding the master of perks mod.
mydah42 Dec 7, 2012 @ 1:35pm
@Laegel: Bethesda has never implemented body location detection in their games. A hit is a hit no matter if it is right between the eyes or in the knee. More than once I have killed a bandit by shooting them in the foot. And on 2 occasions I killed a wolf by shooting them in the tail...literally the tail.
Alright, Alright, Alright! Dec 7, 2012 @ 11:58am
I got a bit of a problem, well a big one actually; I've downloaded the mod and tried using it, but atm it appears that none of the perks are actually there b/c the perk tree still only had the vanilla perks when I checked it...

Could this be a conflict with the 'Master of Perks' mod?
theoddking Dec 6, 2012 @ 8:38pm
i wish some one an make a bow with a scope lol and a pok'eball it will be cool if you can rule over your oun land and ppl can live there and make your own army that will be cool
theoddking Dec 6, 2012 @ 8:33pm
thank you im so happy
NightEyes Dec 4, 2012 @ 12:01am
I will try this, because I always thought that sneak-attacking someone with a greatsword should be devestating.
Dune Raccoon Dec 3, 2012 @ 5:56pm
I hesitate to say things but...

They are gonna take an arrow to the knee. :D
Palorius  [author] Dec 3, 2012 @ 2:55am
Unfortunately, I know of nothing having to do with proximity damage. One of my biggest gripes is the 'head shot', or lack thereof as the case may be. Perhaps that is something to be addressed to Bethesda.
Laegel Dec 3, 2012 @ 1:30am
Is it possible to add a perk where upon hitting a target in the upper chest and/or head, it deals a larger amount damage? I like the look of this mod, and will be intruiged to any following mods.
