hey, go to my DUWS X World war 2 version, its much better and has zeus in built, play as any faction from WW2 mods against any faction. This is unsupported now as its the old DUWS R.

Not really, people can just change the map by themselves if they bother to read the description. Killer Tomata and I are about to release a WW2 version of this using his DUWS-X which is a much better version where you can play any as faction vs any faction from ww2 mods. I'd rather it if the workshop wasn't full of ww2 versions that are the same but not updated to the same version. The one we are working on will pretty much be the ultimate ww2 duws experience with new static compositions at zone centres, immersive supports (ie planes flying over to drop bombs, supplies or paratroopers), 28 playable factions and way better frame rates. It will make all of these versions obsolete. It's easy to change the map, you don't have to port it, you just change the .pbo name to another map and put it into the right folders.

Maybe just got back into updating these, noticed that IFA3 changed some faction related stuff so for example they removed luftwaffe and panzerwaffe as a faction and put it all under the umbrella of wehrmacht and did the same with the red army so a fair bit of this will not be working properly, ie no planes or tanks spawning dynamically for either side. Before I MAYBE make a red army snow version though I MAY have finally cracked to the pressure of people asking for a Germans Vs Allies version, thinking about doing it for the Italy campaign where the Germans were defending against operation Husky. I'll try to fix these all soon, rather busy atm with work, red dead and jedi fallen order is next. Also I have my own music mod now for these missions so will be updating that too, ie you wont need SWU and UMC when I update.

Updated to DUWS-R from old DUWS version
Added options to select different types of special operatives in the parameters tab in the soldier select lobby before starting the game.

So, trying to load the mission it simply crashed arma and said something like 'cannot load world ""' with no name. I'm not sure what could be wrong here.

Is anyone getting this weird bug with M3 Halftrack not the scout version, where it faces upwards with its back and almost hovers above the ground.

Oh, so It\s not only me. Thanks anyways. The problem must be with the planes and not the airfields since I tried this on Altis and the plane still tumbled and bounced down the Bohemia-made airfield. Even on a concrete runway.

Yeah, I dunno what to tell ya, I've taken off in fields that were flatter than runways. The new one i'm working on is on Henderson Airfiled Map and 3 times out of 5 you crash taking off. I got on the Faces of War Discord bug reporting channel and the say they will fix it. You need go to the IFA_3_AIO_LITE error reporting page as its an IFA3 map. https://feedback.ww2ina3.com/ . Set up a profile and make a detailed report. Make sure to follow their reporting template.

None of the airfields are flat? Whenever I try to take off with any WWII plane (German and Soviet) then the plane just starts bouncing like a whore in heat. Help please, this mod is fucking awesome but I refuse to drive across all of Chernaurus multiple times in a fucking car.

I'm at a bit of a crossroads as if there isn't a way to get those CAS supports back in (i'm not good enough at coding to rewrite it) I don't really want to use the new version. I was thinking of trying to pull the saving system out of DUWS-R and putting it into this version to fix that saving bug but I think that may be beyond my skills too. Not really sure what to do, I also want to use the new version as if they crack the dedicated server problem then it would be an easy conversion. I dunno, do you know any coders that could help with the CAS problem? I'm hitting up the forums but so far no joy. I was hoping to get a lot of these out before Christmas but now I don't think that i'll even get the Pacific version done. Fuck, shit, piss, balls! Hit me up people if you know any coders that could help.

Not great, DUWS-R is quite different. I've been working on a Pacific version on henderson field, basically just figuring out whats different with this version. This new version has a lot of cool features like manual or random enemy zones and reset squad leader functions for resuming a game but it doesn't have the two CAS HC support options which I changed to fighter support and fighter/bomber support. This is a bit of a game changer as I tweak the code to spawn more enemy planes and you kinda need those to deal with them or at least keep them occupied. I tried adding them in from the older code but the code is too different and it bugs out. Also the latest Arma update broke the high command system so now when you spawn a high command squad everyone on your side is put into the high command hud, including the commander. I'm talking to the DUWS-R guy but he's not all that helpful as he's quite busy trying to make DUWS-R work on a dedicated server.

Hey everyone, so I'm going to be remaking all of these WW2 and the UNSUNG DUWS' using the latest DUWS-R version. I'm doing this to try to fix the wierd coop saving bug and also because of the IFA3 US uniforms issues, which means I had to rewrite a lot of the Allied versions anyway to convert the Allied units to FOW. I'm going to be adding in more units and vehicles from FOW since their last update, plus some completely new versions including a USMC vs Japanese on henderson field map and a Brits/Aussi's vs Germans on bray dunes map. It's a lot of work so bare with me. The germans vs russians versions need the least amount of work but I will be adding some of the new german FOW vehicles to them, this will probably done last. Hopefully this will all be done by next year.

So I had an idea, I could put this onto Chernerus Summer map as you can dload it on its own from armaholic and its pretty much identical meaning that you wouldn't have to dload 10gig CUPs Terrains. Thoughts ?

Friendly Airsupport is spawned as Axis sided, i was wondering why the pe-3 machine gunner was spraying me, the HC module is also blue coloured compared to the red associated with other red army units. other than that alot of fun!
