3.1.0 - 27 April 2017 - HD update!
- NEW! All ships and stations have received brand new, higher resolution and quality textures
- NEW! Several ships have received new high poly models
- NEW! Ships now display muzzle flash when firing their weapons
- NEW! Added several ship models previously exclusive to the NSC patch to the vanilla version:
- Strike craft now use the old Interceptor Corvette model
- Interceptor Corvette now uses the more detailed Frigate model
- Carrier Cruiser now used the Battlecruiser model
- Hangar Battleship now uses the Light Carrier model

- FIXED! Biotic Evolution should now actually grant the tech as advertised. THIS REQUIRES A NEW GAME! I'm a derp @_@

3.0.0 - 06 April 2017 - Banks compatibility patch
- NEW GAME REQUIRED! Stellaris 1.5 Banks or higher REQUIRED!
- NEW! Battleship model upgraded to a higher poly version
- NEW! Traits now take advantage of the new randomisation controls instead of a switcher event (they are once again available to non-asari custom Empires, but will not occur randomly)
- Removed the "Biotic Affinity" Trait
- Added a new Civic, "Biotic Evolution", which allows to bypass the ethos requirements on Psionic Theory and grants Psionics as well as Field Manipulation research bonuses
- Switched out Nonadaptive for Deviant for both pregenerated Empires
- Enhanced the "Gynogenetic" Trait. Xenophile pops now contribute 3% growth rate (normal pops continue to contribute 2%)
- FIXED! Sadly, Asari can no longer use robots to reproduce. Although of little consolation, Materialist Empires do continue to allow Asari-Synthetic marriages. True love <3 will find a way.
- FIXED! Removed some error log spam. Thank you had!
- NEW! Added more error log spam.

2.3.1 - 01 March 2017 - minor fixes and enhancements
- NEW! Spaceport has been redesigned to better reflect its utility (ship construction and repair)
- NEW! Mining Station has been redesigned to look more industrial. Observation Post now uses the old mining station model.
- FIXED! Construction Ship now properly displays construction animations and VFX
- EXPERIMENTAL! (New Game required) Asari traits are now removed from AI-generated empires and replaced with vanilla equivalents
- (New Game required) Added a few pregenerated modifiers and deposits to the Athena Nebula system initialiser. Notable "landmarks" (Egalic, Sanves, Zylium and such) will no longer generate random anomalies but instead have lore-inspired static properties. The remaining planets can still generate random resources and anomalies.
- Changed the narrative of the Asari Foundation a bit. Made it more ambiguous.

2.3.0 - 12 February 2017 - ship graphics expansion and more!
- NEW: Added several new Cruiser and Battleship models, significantly expanding their visual customisation!
- NEW: Replaced Science, Constructor and Transport ships with new, improved and class-appropriate models!
- NEW: NSC compatibility! (Available as separate download, please refer to the main page)
- NEW: Added two new Asari traits, "Gynogenetic" and "Biotic Affinity" both utilising unique, event-driven mechanics!
- Access to basic Psionics is no longer tied to the Asari portrait. It now requires the new "Biotic Affinity" trait.
- FIXED: Resized all ships in order to standardise the relative scaling of ship classes.
- FIXED: Added mesh-integrated weapon locators to all core sections. Core weapon placement should be more logical and interesting.
- Accounted for NSC ship classes in the namelist. Warnings may appear in your debug log if you don't use NSC. They're harmless and will not affect your in-game experience in any way.
- Removed Asari from random generation for better compatibility with other Mass Effect mods. Only player-created Asari empires should be able to spawn as AI now.
- Added some behind the scenes placeholder things in preparation for 1.5 Banks and the Utopia expansion.
- This update is backwards-compatible with savegames! Existing saves will have access to all the new ships. A new game is only required to take advantage of the new traits.

2.2.0 - 13 December 2016 - major cosmetic update
- NEW! Added a few (slightly modified) outfits from Halo Universe Human Species by llossaa.
- NEW! Added a new ruler outfit! Based on Matriarch Benezia's gown in 3 colour variations.
- NEW! Asari now use their own architecture for space stations! Courtesy of Nessa.
- NEW! Asari now use mass relays instead of wormhole stations! (Flavour/cosmetic only, they still function the same)
- FIXED! Slightly reduced the size of the left arm and shoulder (right side of the portrait) to address weird edge artifacting and clipping through some of the tighter outfits.
- FIXED! Added a missing blinky light locator to the interceptor corvette mesh.
- EXPERIMENTAL! Asari Empires should now recognise each other as offshots of the same species for the purpose of diplomacy and xenophilia/phobia.
- Removed a few of the lower quality outfits and redundant colour variations. One outfit can no longer have more than 3 colour variations and rare clothes should appear more often.
- Pops living on Gaia worlds will now draw outfits from the "luxury" category
- Changed Asari Republics' default FTL to wormhole travel (mass relays)
- Updated game version compatibility to 1.4+ (Kennedy)
- Moved the asari flag symbols into their own category to prevent them from being picked by random empires (may break asari flags on existing saves)

2.1.3 - 15 November 2016 - minor cosmetic update
- NEW! Added a few (slightly modified) outfits from Mass Effect Theme Pack by VJ!
- Shuffled some of the old outfits between categories to even them out a little
- Nessa came up with a new sorting method for outfits. Rulers should no longer change clothes every time I add or remove something! Yay!
- Changed the Asari Republics' flag colour to indigo.
- Whaaat? SCIENCE ISN'T ABOUT WHY! IT'S ABOUT WHY NOT!

2.1.2 - 9 November 2016 - hotfix
- FIXED! Added regnal names to the namelists. Autocratic governments should now properly generate ruler names.
- Also changed the name of Foundation's starting planet for like the trillionth time. I've lost count. But this time I blame ImminentStorm.
