Update: Feb 27, 2024 @ 3:54am

9.0.2 - 27 Feb 2024 - Compatibility & Minor Fixes
- The mod should be compatible with Stellaris 3.11.1+. But 3.10.0+ should theoretically still work.
- Updated some deprecated event script syntax
- Disabled logging of the presence/absence of prescripted empires. Those "errors" were supposed to be debugging notifications, but tended to confuse users and never ended up serving their purpose.
- Added memory optimisation where appropriate
- Removed the Holo-Theatre from Thessia's starting buildings. (Starting Amenities are sufficient without it and there was nobody to work it as pops would prioritise the jobs added by Ecclesia Trends anyway)
- FIXED! A few small errors I forgot to document >.>

Update: Nov 21, 2023 @ 6:36am

9.0.1 - 21 Nov 2023 - QoL & Polishing
- The mod should be compatible with Stellaris 3.10.0+. Earlier versions are not recommended.
- NEW! Empires with the Illium à la Mode and Ascendant Destiny civics now have their own governments (on existing savegames, Reforming Government should update it)
- NEW! Both Origins now include rudimentary Concept support. In the future, we are planning to extend this functionality to other tooltips that support it as well, to improve their readability
- Optimised a few scripts
- Standardised the grammar of Council and Ruler titles. While they still use Ancient Greek roots, the modern affix -issa is used to feminise previously masculine-sounding titles
- Attempted to address the issue of starting Rulers changing their clothes at game start. The attempt proved unsuccessful, so as a temporary measure in the interest of maintaining consistency, disabled the "Benezia" outfit for Megacorp Rulers
- FIXED! Spiritualists are now able to fulfil the Ecclesia Trend: Stability's Focus by building a Holotemple instead of admin buildings
- FIXED! Speaking of which, all instances of "Ecclesia" in both text and code should now be spelled consistently

Update: Nov 16, 2023 @ 11:19am

9.0.0 - 16 Nov 2023 - End of Beta + Patch 3.10.0 Compatibility Update
- The mod should be compatible with Stellaris 3.10.0. Earlier versions are not recommended. NEW GAME RECOMMENDED!
- Version 9.0.0 is officially out of Beta! It appears to be stable enough that we can shift our focus to producing new content again.
- The minimum leader age for Amaranthine leaders reduced from 150 to 100
- When playing "The Future of Illium" Origin, asari leaders over 500 years old are less likely to spawn
- All references to Generals, Admirals and Governors have been changed to point to Commanders and Officials instead
- Outfits previously used by Generals are now exclusively available to the General subclass of Commanders
- Other Commanders now use outfits previously used by Admirals
- FIXED! Various typos and other localisation errors

Update: Nov 4, 2023 @ 9:03pm

9.0.0 Beta v2e - 05 Nov 2023 - Hotfix
- FIXED! A critical issue with Destiny calculations. The game should no longer be confused by a variable and a value having the same name. Unfortunately, this fix will reset Ascendancy's current Destiny to 0 in ongoing savegames! Sorry! >.<

Update: Nov 4, 2023 @ 1:06am

9.0.0 Beta v2d - 04 Nov 2023 - QoL
- Improved the experience after reaching the Red Ending of the Prothean Beacon storyline
+ The point-of-no-return option now includes a warning of the immediate consequences the empire will experience
+ The message informing you of Eclessia Trends being removed will only happen once, and the removal itself will now also better handle cases where a planet has multiples of the same trend

Update: Nov 3, 2023 @ 10:51pm

9.0.0 Beta v2c - 04 Nov 2023 - Balancing
-The difficulty of the final stage of the Prothean Beacon site has been reduced from 12 to 10. Which should theoretically allow the young bright-eyed scientist, freshly graduated from the Science University of Sciencing, so full of dreams and looking forward to the wondrous discoveries awaiting her, to maybe stand a chance of actually finishing that excavation within the natural lifespan of her species

Update: Nov 3, 2023 @ 11:35am

9.0.0 Beta v2b - 03 Nov 2023 - Hotfix(?)
-FIXED(?) Waterproofing the Ecclesia cap formula so there should be no chance of mathfusion

Update: Nov 3, 2023 @ 9:09am

9.0.0 Beta v2a - 03 Nov 2023 - Minor Oopsie
- FIXED! Ecclessia Trend: Education's Focus should now properly decrease Researcher Upkeep instead of making it worse

Update: Nov 2, 2023 @ 3:51pm

9.0.0 Beta v2 - 02 Nov 2023 - Complete Rework of Everything
- The mod should be compatible with Stellaris 3.9.0. Earlier versions are not recommended. NEW GAME ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED!
- Please keep in mind that this update contains nearly half a year's worth of changes. Many things have been added, changed, removed, optimised, or all of the above. As such, it was impossible to thoroughly test it internally, and we didn't want to keep it in active developement any longer. As such, this build is being released as a "Beta".
+ Technically, everything should be functional, all the core gameplay features are implemented and confirmed working as intended. HOWEVER, they have not been sufficiently tested for edge cases, proof-read or precisely balanced. However, hotfixes and minor updates that we are planning to release over the next couple of weeks should not break ongoing savegames, so you *should* be safe to start a long campaign during the Beta.
+ Balancing, in particular, will be a major focus for the duration of the Beta. A lot of the values were eyeballed, and because SO many of the new features revolve around scaling modifiers, it's very difficult to fine-tune the numbers until enough people have provided feedback. So please, please, let us know how everything feels to play!
- NEW! All three core Asari Civics (Thessian Statecraft, Illium à la Mode and Ascendant Destiny) now have exclusive access to Eternity Traditions!
+ Eternity Traditions expand on the base features of each of the civics to further distinguish the three presets:
+ Thessian Statecraft: instead of physically representing Republics on planets, Ecclesia Trends now represent abstract sentiments of the local citizens. The player can no longer create them on demand, but Trends will arise organically over time. Eternity Traditions further enhance the benefits derived from Ecclesia Trends while adding new ways to interact with them.
+ Illium à la Mode: INFINITE GROWTH! Illium retains its ability to derive Influence from Trade Value, but now has many new ways to spend Influence as well. Eternity Traditions grant access to Leverage Policies, which can consume Influence in exchange for powerful scaling benefits that only become stronger the more investment you put into Illium and your leaders.
+ Ascendant Destiny: has received the most dramatic overhaul of the three. Now, instead of being treated as an easter-eggy "Renegade" option for Asari, it has been reworked into a legitimate civilisation with its own playstyle and unique systems. Research Techs to gain Influence, which the Eternity Traditions then allow you to invest into your empire's Destiny - powerful, permanent benefits that are meant to be slowly built up over time, growing the Ascendancy into an indomitable political superpower with each passing year.
- NEW! The "Sponsor Justicars" Council Agenda is available to all adopters of Eternity, allowing the Justicar order to assist you with keeping peace, managing the Ardat-Yakshi population and even dissuading leaders from... untowards conduct. But beware! Once sponsored, the Justicars will only follow the Code of Justice. Your schemes, reputation and plans mean nothing to them!
- NEW! All Amaranthine Species are now subject to the "Cycle of Eternity" system, allowing them to go through 3 distinct life stages as they age.
+ Upon Adopting Eternity Traditions, the Cycle of Eternity traits are further enhanced, gaining Council benefits as well.
+ Because age has become a lot more important, Asari leaders can now spawn within a much wider age range. While Matrons will still make up the majority of leaders, Maidens and the occasional Matriarch will be much more common than before.
+ NEW! Each of the core Civics now comes with its own Council Seat, and Councilors in general play a big role. With Eternity Traditions, ensuring that a diversity of Ethics is represented on the Council will make opposition Factions and wrong-ethic pops a lot easier to manage. And sometimes even beneficial to cultivate.
- Both of the Origins have received some changes (more planned!)
+ Thessia: When starting out, Thessia will have 3 established Ecclesia Trends corresponding to your Ethics.
+ Thessia: When going for the Red Ending of the Prothean Beacon Storyline, the narrative of the Plebiscite results is a lot less agrressive, to keep in line with the changes to the Ascendancy.
+ Illium: The special Neo-Illium deposits gained upon the completion of Project Architect now offer fewer jobs, but instead focus more on reducing pop and district upkeep, making City-Planet Illium a little more self-sufficient than before.
- FIXED! ...too many things to mention. Locs, art assets, gameplay issues, error logs and nearly everything else has been touched up in some way.

FUTURE PLANS!
A few things did not make it out of the Experimental branch due to being unfinished or unsatisfactory. To ensure a relatively stable and immersive experience, they won't be included in the Beta build. However, I'll give you a sneak peek of what else we've been working on... later, in the Monthly Mod Report! n_n

Update: Mar 22, 2023 @ 6:52am

8.7.2 - 22 Mar 2023 - Cloaking Hotfixes
- The mod should be compatible with Stellaris 3.7.0 and backwards-compatible with 3.5.0. A new game should not be required.
- FIXED! Cloaked science stations/observation posts so they don't announce their position by being brighter than the closest star.
- FIXED! Orbital Rings so you can see the sparkly glow 2.0 behind the glass.
