In this update theres a few bug fixes, a few additions and a few changes

atmospheric water generator now breaks down instead of being destroyed when it catches fire

atmospheric water generator can be made from any metallic resource

fixed a bug where sand on solar panels would keep being cleaned into negative values

improved the sand buildup graphics on solar panels

major dust storm now covers panels in dust

added wind weather event which blows dust off solar panels

added new aluminium solar panel option and added cheaper 3x3 sized solar panels

added a solar power inverter which needs to be attached to the circuit for panels to work

RTG is no longer buildable - chance to salvage a spare from curiosity rover

SPE and solar flare combined into a single event

This is the first big update to MARS, the main difference is the way you setup growing zones.

This new version will break old saves, you can download the first version of the mod from here:

Growing:
Dig up sand using the new dig sand tool under order tab
Build the new work table from the production tab to create soil from the sand
Place the soil anywhere you want using the soil construction option under production tab
Build an atmospheric water generator in the middle of your patch of soil
The AWG waters the soil around it over time improving its fertility.
Soil dries out over time when not watered
Exposure to the martian atmosphere will kill the soil and new soil will need to be made to replace it


Incidents:
New incidents have been added from suit breaches to long powerful dust storms that will send colonists into a confused state if they are caught outside in it.

Door explosions are more powerful but happen less often


Healing:
Colonists can now heal themselves by resting in any type of bed

Self healing rate is half of normal speed

Any medical supplies within range will be used automatically and xp applied


Increased starting food

Removed blight

Solar panels now accumulate dust during dust storms which will reduce their power output

Solar panels and RTG output less power the more damaged they are

the RTG now emits radiation when damaged

RTG can be reinstalled

Ketchup can be combined with raw plants to make fine meals - limited supply use wisely

Vicodin for mood boosts - limited supply

Adjusted warning signs for colonists being outside without suits

Replaced plasteel with aluminium, mined from bauxite

Added minable iron which can be smelted into steel

Ascent vehicle cost requirements adjusted

Heaters now output 2x more

Outside temperature now swings +-70c from day to night
