Weapons
-----------------
* Erchius Eye has been nerfed to be more inline with other weapons. When upgraded , nearly nothing was better.
* Removes the code saying that the regen matrix is a container (was probs a bad idea having it as a 0 slot container) (Hubnester)

* improved code for Atmos Filter to be less intensive. Should improve performance (cat2002)

* made *certain* that sand appears in the mama poptop lair, and adds 2 glass to the initial starter FU quest to facilitate BYOS travel



BYOS (Hubnester)

* Makes it so that you get your races starter treasure when using BYOS and made the S.A.I.L options clearer (probs temp until S.A.I.L text is added).

* Fixes an issue where you end up where you're not supposed to when selecting the default ship option with weird ships.

* Also adds a pet house (spawns the configured ship pet) and the racialiser (both are unobtainable atm (still being worked on))

MOBS
------------------
* updated shoggoth:
* reworked sound design
* aggro range at battle start corrected
* adjusted combat phases
* attack telegraphs and particle effects to help you anticipate

* added missing animations and attacks to lilodons. They will now burrow and charge if hit, giving them an attack you'll need to dodge
* removed poison from baby sulphur ixolings, and increased their size by 25% to make them more noticeable.


SCIENCE OUTPOST

* Make's it so that the bar spot no longer renders on top of the player, makes it have platform collision on top of the table part and makes the starbooze npc use lounger behaviour. Also modifies the lounger behaviour to only have a range of 1 (all the vanilla npcs that i know of that use this behaviour seem to still work fine)

* added new objects to precursor dungeon and changed the spider room
* changed up Apex War Born boss room slightly and improved his punch
* miniboss rooms in frozen wastes have more space available, or slight adjustments to make a less straightforward fight in each


STATIONS
-------------------------
* new sprite for Gas Centrifuge (retoid). It now takes more space.
* Electronics Station can now unlock earlier, but its crafting requirements remain the same
* made Atmos Filter and Atmos Regulator a bit visually different (until an actual Atmos Filter sprite gets added)
* Atmospheric Regulator now has 3 slots
* Machining Table is slightly easier to craft (iron cost reduced from 5 to 2)

EFFECTS
------------------------
* Web Shooter now causes a 2s Stick Web effect on targets, but no longer does Radioactive damage
* Sticky Webs effect now gives a visible particle to make it obvious what is going on
* numerous minor improvements to tile effect interactions (ice, mud, etc)


LOOT / GEAR

* mech salvage can now be found outside of space biomes
* guardian wing adjustments (Reginald Halifrax)
* added tiny locker (retoid)

* ALL new characters get the option of a BYOS ship or the Racial ship they normally get. When you first access your ships terminal you will be given this option. Make your choice. It is permanent.

*The byos system in it's current state (except for modded race support since it needs to load after the race mods):
* Has objects that allow you to travel through space, increase max number of crew members and increase max fuel (stacks with crew member bonuses).
* REQUIRES A NEW CHARACTER.
* Updates to it shouldn't break things, but there is a chance it might.
* Is optional and modded race support is in it's own mod (has to load after the race mods and most thing load after FU - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1194878261(edited) ).
* Should be compatible with most ship mods.
* Just to be clear: Requires a -new- character.
* is just early-phase testing

* nocxium can now appear as a mineable ore in elder subbiomes

* stations at the outpost will no longer display *any* recipes (they were showing non-FU ones when toggling materials available. this is corrected)

* Allows the Flexx Cape to work with the new dyes by updating the old pngs with the new "universal" colours (Reginald Halifrax)

* guardian wings now dyeable (Reginald Halifrax)

new random loot tools:
* added Gyro Stabilizer : stops all motion and gravity for as long as you hold the button. uses lots of energy.
* added Pocket Anchor: increased downward pull whenever held. sink fast.


EFFECTS
-----------------
* Molten Metal effects are more severe
* Burning effect is more severe but now gets resisted by fire resistance. base damage has increased by +1, but does significantly less with high resists.
* lava effect adjusted


* Molten Metal effects changed: Molten Metal now has three strengths. Rain and liquid will be strength 3. Affected tiles will be strength 1.
* Tick Timer: 0.5s (all strengths)
* Damage: 5 / 10 / 15
* Damage increases by +3 per tick. Can be resisted by Fire Resistance. Complete mitigation requires 100% resistance.
* like lava, causes the Burning effect when it expires

* Lava effect changed: Lava is still exceptionally dangerous. It can, however, be mitigated with Fire Resistance. Damage has been adjusted, and now increases by +5 per tick rather than doubling. Lethal, but potentially survivable in the event of unfortunate miss-steps.
* Burning effect can now be resisted with Fire Resistance and completely mitigated at 65% resistance
* Poison effect can now be resisted with Poison Resistance.



Shoggoth Adjustments
---------------------------------
* boss room revamped
* boss music added
* eyebeam attack effects changed. Damage has been reduced and shadow effect duration has been reduced. However, it gains additional effects
* when wounded, the shoggoth can emit a burst of power or a minion at random. Low chance.
* swipe attack adjusted in timing. it now telegraphs better, and gives you time to avoid it
* all attacks can now damage terrain in some fashion
* new minion type added



QUEST UI (zimberzimber)

* Fixed an error caused by selecting an available, previously abandoned, quest with no prerequisites.
* Hidden pixel/item reward if there are no pixels/items rewarded
* Hidden rewards if there are no rewards
* Made the reward list items slightly taller and adjusted other values to fit so the amount of items rewarded is not cut off
* Modified the background/header images to fit the bigger questline button

* Assassini Armor correected to properly give Shadow, rather than Poison, resistance

* Phase Attack tech has been rebalanced. It now takes the amount of energy and health you have at activation into account and computes the bonus damage based on these values. It also takes energy over time, rather than a flat energy cost. This limits the length of time it can be activated.

* new legendary low-tier loot: Ghost Lantern

Quest UI adjustments

* corrects abandon failing on quests UI
* removed Turn In for most quests
* slightly adjusted quest loadout to the new UI, removing some quests from it to encourage science outpost visit at least once.

NEW QUEST GUI!!! (zimberzimber)

The Quest UI for FU has been completely redone. All "popup" quests are removed from circulation in favor of the new method. Using a Personal Tricorder you can now access the FU Quest UI. Here you can select and view all FU quests at your leisure, and take the ones you actually want *and in the order you wish to pursue them*


To go with the above, quests have been shuffled around. Most should still function similar, however you should now be able to cancel the quests at will and re-activate them as you wish. Please report any irregularities or issues so we can fix them up.

No quests have been deleted, though some have been phased out. Namely, you should not be getting many popup quests at random anymore, save for specific cases (artifacts, etc) where this is largely unavoidable.

* we have -hopefully- fixed the dreaded EoF bug at long last. You should , if all goes well, never see that nonsense again. It was caused by a single weapon on certain NPCs, though the reason remains unclear. Newly generated planets should (*should*) no longer have this problem in Greg , USCM and Wasteland dungeons
* corrected Proto-Poison resistances: it now requires poison resistance at 41% (basic) or 61% (powerful) to resist. Packs that block the effect, augments, etc, will not be affected and will function as previously.
* Fixes berserker augment recursion error on removal and reduces the speed of the infinite beer epp to 1 second (Hubnester)
* reduces wall-grip time limit on Magnet Grip and Magnet Grip II. Time is now 0.5s for tier 1, and 3 seconds for the upgrade (was 2s / 6s)
* new Pyre Vulcan skin (S☟ad☜)
* Helium-3 debuff no longer erroneously claims it is Low Gravity
* shoggoth melee adjustments (damage type, effects)

* fixes a stat effect typo on starspawns (PParrot)
* Adds recipes to the contribution objects and removes a duplicate liquid interaction (Hubnester)
* Adds atmospheric filter (has a slot that an augment can be put to apply it's effect to all players and npcs in range), changed the atmospheric regulator and regeneration matrix to use the same lua (has 0 slots for augments currently). Once we've tested the Filter extensively, we will tier it and have the AtmosReg as the final tier. (Hubnester)
* Made it so that the liquid mixer recipe is unlocked by interacting with an electronics center or power station. (Hubnester)
