An update to 1.6 is live.
The 1.6 version lacks most mod compatibilities; those that haven't been disabled have not been tested.
DO NOT USE IN 1.6 UNLESS you have a version of Vanilla Expanded Framework that is tagged for use in 1.6 (currently available on GitHub, it still has a couple bugs).
A full list of changes can be seen in the Patch Notes linked in the Framework. Changes shown below are just the ones important to players. Any change prefaced with {+1.5} also applies to the 1.5 version of HAT.

==Trait balance==
{+1.5}Bookworm buff: duration of individual stacks of mood bonus from reading 8h→12h
-Skulker adjustment: scouting a world site for hostiles now also detects hostile parties which the player has already been made aware of
-Outdoorsy, Tempestophile adjustments: both traits are suppressed by the Indoor Dweller gene
{+1.5}[Biotech] Mechaphobe buff: mood per bandwidth of controlled mechs in colony -1→-0.5 (cap remains unchanged at -40)

==[Royalty] Psychic trait balance==
-[Biotech] Genetically woke pawns no longer have to pass another chance check against the relevant mod setting to transcend after coming back immediately from death due to directly-mortality-related transcendence methods
{+1.5}[Anomaly] The following transes are now immune to blood rain: Dove, Orca, Pitohui, and Strix. They use the new method of blood rain immunity, described in the bugfixes section below
-Albatross adjustment: wind level now gradually but steadily ramps up while meditating
{+1.5}Dulotic buff: grants the Morbid meditation type
{+1.5}Emperor Penguin nerf: chance per evaluation to issue the call due to having recently beaten a life-threatening illness 20%→7.5%
{+1.5}Firehawk buff: grants the Flame meditation type
{+1.5}[A] Pitohui adjustment: the purging effect now also clears blood rain buildup
{+1.5}Erinys adjustment: the amount of meditation required to remove Psychic Censure now has an upper limit of 1y
{+1.5}Wraith buff: starts out with invulnerability, since it also starts on cooldown

==Improved mod settings==
{+1.5}[Biotech]: Bonus growth moments (as in, those literally called "bonus" in the blue letter) don’t grant more passion options. Doubles as a bugfix, as it prevents situations where, when the player has set the max trait limit to a high number, the game runs out of passions to level up and therefore prevents the player from ever actually finalizing their growth moment decisions

{+1.5}The following thoughts no longer offset mood when nullified:

----[Biotech] Misopedist child counter, Caretaker child counter, both mech traits' controlled mech counters, Environmentalist pollution check

-The Skulker ability to determine if a world site is occupied by hostile parties is no longer a gizmo that appears when a Skulker-containing caravan is atop such a site; this approach made it difficult to use the ability in 1.5 onwards since you could not order a caravan to move to a site without entering it, requiring you to path the caravan through the site rather than to it. Now, it is one of the menu options that appears when a Skulker-containing caravan is issued a right-click order to the site
{+1.5}Tranquil now only permits a specific list of mental breaks, so Tranquil pawns can now never have a mood-induced mental break that isn’t immediately ended by Tranquil
{+1.5}Vain beauty moodlet's description updated to reflect correct numerical values
{+1.5}Winsome and [Royalty] trans Cuckoo now have +3% suppression power, as intended
{+1.5}[Biotech] Environmentalist mood based on current tile’s pollution level now applies when despawned
{+1.5}[R] Language keys for transcending due to being hit by an apocriton’s death shockwave, and for attaining the Apocriton transcendence, are no longer the same

{+1.5}[R] Dulosis can’t be refreshed by killing the victim again. Since this was caused by an error w/ disappearing on death, it no longer disappears on death, but disappears on resurrection

{+1.5}[R] Trans Emperor Penguins contemplate MIB summoning when they’ve beat a life-threatening illness each tick → hour

{+1.5}[R] Trans Quahog equipment improvement proc chance per attempt 7%→8% (as intended), and severity no longer decrements outside of proc attempts, allowing it to actually do anything in the ordinary course of play
{+1.5}[R] Trans Robin can no longer generate corpses or unfinished things, can now properly generate buildings, and can generate books with titles and descs
-Robin can’t generate items that aren’t player-acquirable e.g. mech equipment
{+1.5}[R] Trans Scarab’s cooldown hediff is visible in the health tab
{+1.5}[R] Trans Weaverbird chance for crafted item duplication 150%→50%
{+1.5}[R] Fixed some missing or incorrect fantasy replacement text pertaining to mythic transes

{+1.5}[R] Transes that create temporary ethereal objects while meditating (e.g. Albatross, Bowerbird, Firehawk, Sea Ice) no longer repeatedly create short-lived variants, but instead just create one and sustain it for as long as the meditation goes on

-Vanilla Factions Expanded - Ancients isn't making it to 1.6, so neither is the compat for it
