v1.4.0

This update adds CCSM lethal injections from Stand Alone Complex along with mod integration patches for Dubs Rimatomics, balance changes, fixes, and numerous other tweaks.

  • Added the CCSM lethal injector. Produced with micromachines, once a CCSM solution is injected its effects are irreversible and causes total cyberbrain death within 2 hours; all while actively wiping data stored in said brain.
  • Added mod integration patches for Dubs Rimatomics with two new micromachine surgeries to combat Rimatomics radiation sicknesses.
  • Added mod compatibility and integration patches for pre-release GiTS Cybernetics.
  • Cyberbrain diseases will now have custom taleDefs with an expansive list of options for your colony's art and books, some including subtle GiTS or other modder references.
  • Cyberbrain sclerosis is no longer treatable by any conventional method to make it a proper risk of installing extreme cyberbrains.
  • Rebalanced micromachine surgery success and death on failure chances, many of the more difficult surgeries are now also somewhat riskier!
  • The Locus-Solus HADES, Hanka CSOF2, and CSOF4 cyberbrains now grant a bonus to mortar accuracy by reducing the mortar miss radius of the user.
  • Added additional subtext lines to the bottom of all research project descriptions in Cybernetics tree to clarify everything that is unlocked by said project.
  • Reviewed just about every description correcting grammatical errors and hopefully improving description conciseness in some areas. Added more description hyperlinks to some descriptions as well.
  • Slight improvements to overall texture quality in all mod textures.
  • Unfinished cyberbrains now have their own unique unfinished item variation.
  • Changed "advanced cybernetics" subtext in preview image to "brain cybernetics".
  • All install surgery icons now display the specific version of a cyberbrain being installed.
  • Custom label colors for cyberbrains have been changed to mirror GiTS Cybernetics. Specialized and advanced specialized cyberbrains now have a yellow label, and enhanced cyberbrains now uses green labels.
  • Removed the extremely remote possibility a colonist could contract a cyberbrain disease twice.
  • Removed possibility luciferium could "cure" Closed Shell Syndrome.
  • Fixed an issue where some cyberbrain graphics were miscolored.
  • Fixed some issues with cyberbrain research prerequisites in advanced cyberbrains.
  • Fixed an issue where missing part HP could influence cyberbrain stats during the initial adaption phase.
  • Added a "Frequently Asked Questions" section and more detail to mod integration patch info in the internal mod documentation.

Minor patch fixing mod integration with Bionic Icons and some other tweaks.

  • Fixed Bionic Icons mod integration patch not replacing cyberbrain icons.
  • Cyberbrain sclerosis and closed shell syndrome can no longer be contracted by quest lodgers, beggars or quest reserved pawns from an adapting cyberbrain.
  • Added specific surgery icons for basic and enhanced cyberbrains.

Small patch that fixes creepjoiner organ decay not being treatable- I blame Tynan having 5+ hediffs named Organ Decay for this! Also added a surgery for CE users to treat venom buildup.

This patch adds storage filters for cyberbrains by type, adds a detailed cybernetics description to the research tab and fixes some missing nullification surgeries!

  • [1.5] - Added a new, detailed description to the cybernetics research tab about cybernetics technologies and its differences to bionics.
  • Added dedicated item category 'Cyberbrain' for cyberbrains that contains filters for each type of cyberbrain, it is located under the body parts filter.
  • Nullification surgeries no longer return the cyberbrain that is removed as they are nullifying the existing cyberbrain structure, not excising it.
  • Added cyberbrain icon to install surgeries.
  • Added defensive inheritance rules to fixedIngredientFilters in order to prevent possible invasive patches messing with cyberbrain surgeries.
  • Fixed some 1.4 and 1.5 Combat Extended cyberbrains missing nullification surgeries.

This update restores upgrading cyberbrains with a new surgery to nullify the current one using micromachines. Unique schematics text for cyberbrains research, organized recipe display order and other changes have also been added or made.

  • [1.5] - For 1.5 users, added unique schematics text for cyberbrains research projects.
  • Added a new system to "nullify" a cyberbrain via a surgery, costing micromachines and medicine, and allowing upgrading or removal of cyberbrains. The medicine skill requirement and amount of micromachines scales based on how advanced the cyberbrain is.
  • Traders that offer cybernetics may now offer up to 4 cybernetics implants, previously was 3.
  • Added new display priorities for cyberbrain categories to organise them better in lists.
  • Added a welcome message for new users that also have HugsLib loaded.
  • Added defensive inheritance to some cyberbrains base defs in order to prevent possible invasive patches messing with cyberbrain stats.
  • Moved a majority of integrated mod patches from LoadFolders into defs.

v1.2.1

This patch fixes issues such as being able to install some cyberbrains with each other, stacking immunity nanites surgeries and vanilla combat getting confused with the SS9M cyberbrain. When testing before fixing it, I managed to get the lowest possible Int value (-2147483648%) from the shooter at a long range target!

  • Balance Changes:
    • Rebalanced Hanka SS9M cyberbrain around shooting accuracy and if Anomaly DLC is loaded, the aptitudes system.
  • Fixes:
    • Fixed some cyberbrains being able to be installed alongside others.
    • Fixed stacking immunity nanites by installing them on top of each other.
    • Fixed minor typo in adaption value stats of some extreme cyberbrains.

This smaller update completes the addition of stats to cyberbrain descriptions with CE specific stats if it is loaded. Additionally, micromachine surgeries now offer many more options. Some small fixes and yet another cyberbrain disease chance rebalance also included.

  • General Changes:
    • Micromachines can now remove more ailments with research of advanced MMSI nanites. Check full changelog in the mod folder for full list of newly curable ailments.
    • Added CE specific stat modifiers to cyberbrain descriptions if CE is also installed.
    • With CE this mod now loads separate defs instead of internally patching, providing a small load time improvement.
    • Renamed and redid descriptions for some of the nanite research projects to be more fitting.
  • Balance Changes:
    • [CE 1.4] - HCQ14N melee dodge chance raised.
    • Micromachine surgeries have been rebalanced in into rough categories of minor and severe ailments in terms of cost and difficulty.
    • Added extremely low chance of basic cyberbrain inducing Closed Shell Syndrome during adaption phase.
    • Yet again increased chances of cyberbrain sclerosis and closed shell syndrome to develop during adaption in enhanced, specialized, advanced and extreme cyberbrains.
    • Increased chances of cyberbrain sclerosis to develop during adaption in basic cyberbrains.
  • Fixes:
    • [1.5] - Fixed specialized and advanced cyberbrains having incorrect MTB values for cyberbrain sclerosis.
    • LoadFolders of this mod now supports having local and Steam CE installed at the same time. This is a vanilla mod loading issue that causes problems and has been around since at least 1.4.

v1.1.0

Cyberbrains are now counted as implants and can be installed with other brain implants! They still cannot be removed due their nature, though. This update also includes more mod support and balance changes to make cyberbrain diseases more prominent.

  • General Changes:
    • Cyberbrains can now be installed with other brain implants. This change should not cause issues to colonists with cyberbrains in pre-existing saves.
    • All cyberbrain descriptions now include a full list of stat modifiers at the bottom! This includes bonuses and drawbacks.
    • Added a tip for users about research requirements for installing a cyberbrain.
    • Renamed research tree label to "Cybernetics" from "GiTS".
    • Rewritten research tree descriptions for clarity on what the project unlocks.
    • Rewrite of mod description.
  • Balance Changes:
    • All cyberbrains now only require Central nervous system cyberization research to install.
    • Basic cyberbrain MTB for cyberbrain sclerosis during adaption phase (296 -> 292).
    • Enhanced cyberbrain MTB for cyberbrain sclerosis during adaption phase (214 -> 193) and Closed Shell Syndrome (128 -> 124).
    • Specialized and advanced cyberbrain MTB for cyberbrain sclerosis during adaption phase (214 -> 184).
    • Extreme cyberbrain MTB for cyberbrain sclerosis during adaption phase (214 -> 172).
    • Body part efficiency buffs have been decreased for most cyberbrain tiers including: Basic (115% -> 110%), enhanced (140% -> 135%), advanced specialized (150% -> 145%) and extreme (165% -> 150%).
  • Patch Changes:
    • Added a mod patch for Greyscythe Bionics Catalogue, allowing the creation of cyberbrains at a realspace manifold.
    • Removed prerequisite for Brain Surgery research to install cyberbrains if EPOE is also loaded.
  • Miscellaneous Changes:
    • Rewrote EPOE patch for MA-AI costList in enhanced and specialized cyberbrains for clarity.
    • Clarified comment in GiTS_Patches_StockGenerators on what the patch does.
