Readded learning helper and loading screen tips for 1.4/1.5 users to solve a potential issue. Apparently removing those can break things. Oops.

  • Readded ConceptDefs and TipSetDefs removed in the 1.7.0 update for 1.4/1.5 users as it potentially could cause major UI issues.

v1.7.0

Preliminary update for the 1.6 unstable branch, please report any errors you encounter! More updates are likely to come to help ease this mod into 1.6. There may also be one time red errors after this update when playing on 1.4 or 1.5, it's safe to ignore these.

  • Updated for 1.6 unstable branch version 1.6.4488.
  • Removed all TipSetDefs and ConceptDefs.
  • Dropped support for Fluffy's mod manager via the Manifest.xml file, not that anyone still uses it. I think.

Dampened the effects of the Cyberpsychosis mod as requested by some users by 20% for all cyberbrains!

  • Abandoned support for heavily outdated Fluffy's Mod Manager mod via Manifest.xml file.

v1.6.0

Some world pawns can now potentially spawn with cyberbrains, including raiders! Full list of pawn kinds in the mod folder's CHANGELOG.txt file.

  • Some pawn kinds with access to advanced technologies can now potentially spawn with specialized tier cyberbrains or below. Imperial archons and above from Royalty can also potentially spawn with more advanced cyberbrains types.
  • Added a mod patch for pawn kinds from The Dead Man's Switch, allowing some to potentially spawn with specialized tier cyberbrains or below. Officers can also potentially spawn with more advanced cyberbrains types.
  • Traders will now only stock up to 1 extreme or advanced specialized cyberbrain at a time. The total amount stocked is unchanged and cyberbrains retain their own separate tag to not clog up trader's stock of other implants.
  • Removed unused or redundant XML files and nodes.

Added mod support for GiTS Cybernetic Equipment, which adds some buildings to assist with producing and installing cybernetics!

  • The cybernetics workbench from GiTS Cybernetic Equipment now replaces the fabrication bench if loaded for cyberbrain and CCSM recipes.
  • Micromachines can now also be produced at cybernetics workbenches from GiTS Cybernetic Equipment.
  • Updated mod preview image text.

Revisited and rebalanced cyberbrain diseases, along with other minor balance changes.

  • Cyberbrain Sclerosis now requires a minimum player population of 2 to appear.
  • Increased severity of penalties to conciousness and other capacities throughout Cyberbrain Sclerosis progression.
  • Cyberbrain Sclerosis will now disable certain work types after reaching the "major" stage (50% severity).
  • Introduced currently the only cure to Cyberbrain Sclerosis: touching the void in Anomaly DLC.
  • Adjusted Closed Shell Syndrome bonuses to global learning speed and research speed.
  • Closed Shell Syndrome now disables the "Caring" work type.
  • Closed Shell Syndrome now has a rare chance to cause a Hide in Room mental break (MTB 22 days).
  • Closed Shell Syndrome and some cyberbrains now grant a bonus to Anomaly DLC study efficiency.
  • Reduced MA-AI chip cost for all cyberbrains by 1 in EPOE Forked patch.
