Another quick update. Some of the bayonet stuff was messed up with threaded weapons. Should be fixed now.

Fixed a typo in the attachments .txt file that prevented any attachments from working.

Small update. Fixed an issue with the attachment switcher script that apparently has been broken for a while. No more bayoneting zombies from across the street because you have a scope on your rifle. Also added the rest of the threaded shotguns to attachments that I forgot to do the first time. New weapon stats have been introduced. I might rescale some of the damage later, but I’ll see if people like this.

One new item has been added: A x4 scope for the AR-180.

This one took a little longer. Was a lot of tedious stuff and I had to focus on personal matters a bit more lately.

English files and fixing tables have been updated with all the new stuff.
HK Scope Rail has been added
Did a lot of fixing and adding to loot tables. Very time consuming, but necessary for the sandbox stuff. There were also some locations I didn’t have covered from the vanilla distributions.
New Sandbox Options
Disabling .357 Magnum will cause all .357 Magnum firearms to spawn as their .38 Special version. Disabling both .357 Mag and .38 Spc disables all firearms of this category.
Disabling 12ga Buckshot will cause all .12ga Buckshot firearms to spawn as their 12ga Slug version. Disabling both 12ga Buckshot and Slugs disables all firearms of this category.
Disabling ammo switching has now been added.
Disabling folding/collapsing stocks has now been added.
Disabling the spawning of automatic firearms has now been added.
Disabling full auto conversions has now been added (placeholder, I have not added this ability yet).
Disabling of mountable scope rails has now been added.
Disabling bayonets and their use has now been added.
Disabling silencers from spawning has now been added.
Disabling the threading of firearm barrels and bores has now been added.
Disabling of craftable silencers has now been added.
Silencer rarity can now be adjusted
Default firearm sound radius can now be adjusted
Silencer suppression efficiency can now be adjusted.

If no one finds any issues/bugs with this stuff, I’m going to push these updates over to the main mod sometime next week. Next cycle for the Test Build will be finishing up pistol threading, automatic conversions to some firearms, and maybe some work on adding weapon lights.

Barrel threading has been implemented for all long guns. Was a lot, so I’m sure I missed something. The only handguns that can be threaded at the moment are the Ruger Mk II, Brown Buckmark, and M590 Pistol. Any threaded firearm will have a tooltip informing you that it is threaded. A homemade 8mm silencer was added so the Mauser can be silenced, along with a 12ga silencer for any shotgun with a threaded bore. It will require more skill to make than the others.

Shotguns that can already take chokes will be threaded. Threading shotgun, like a sawed off or tactical shotgun, will not only allow it to attach a silencer but also the full, improved, and rifle chokes.

I have a few things that need to be tidied up and then I’m going to try to focus on sandbox stuff.

Reworked some of the silencer stats and rescaled rifle cans. Crafting recipes have been added for oil filter silencers and homemade silencers.

Oil filter silencers require a thread adapter. Once constructed, it can simply be installed on an oil filter to make a simple silencer with low durability. Thread adapter requires the following:

Homemade silencers will require finding a magazine called “IPO: Silencer Construction.” Once read, you will need a Saw, Propane Torch, Welding Mask, and Tap And Die Set to craft the following:

Small Metal Sheet
Metalworking 3
Aiming 3

-Homemade 9mm Silencer or .45 Auto Silencer
Metal Pipe
2 Small Metal Sheet

Gun Cleaning Kits can now use Motor Oil to be assembled.

Tap And Die Set, Oil Filters, Motor Oil, IPO: Silencer Construction magazine, and IPO: Full-Auto Conversions magazine now spawn in the world, in their applicable locations. The IPO: Full-Auto Conversions magazine currently does nothing.

Working silencers added. The following will spawn in gun shops and military areas. The M14 w/ Rail, M723 w/ Rail, and M733 w/ Rail will also sometimes spawn with them.

The following silencers can be called with debug/admin options, but do not spawn in world. They will eventually have recipes that will allow them to be craftable.

-Homemade 9mm Silencer

-Homemade .22LR Silencer
-Homemade 5.56 Rifle Silencer
-Homemade .30 cal Rifle Silencer
-Oil Filter Silencer
-Large Oil Filter Silencer

All silencers will degrade in condition and will display the 'Dirty', 'Damaged', or 'Broken' will indicate current condition since Zomboid does not display condition for weapon parts. They can be repaired with another same item or Gun Cleaning Kit.

Script has been added to make selective fire weapons recoil like their semi auto counter parts when in semi auto. Unfortunately, this sometimes causes a small delay, after the first shot, the first time after switching to full auto. Burst fire recoil delay is now based off the gun's base recoil delay.
