Icelandic fascist overhaul update!

Hello, it's been a while! I've been working on-and-off on getting this update out, and I hope the time was worth it, since I I think I added quite a bit in this update!

-Two main fascist sub-paths, multiple small sub-paths within each sub-path.
-100+ new focuses!
-Nine possible leaders!
-New advisers!
-New general!
-Multiple cosmetic tags, including a unification of all of the Norse!
-And more!

For other smaller changes this update:
Iceland:
-Changed the political chart of Iceland to better represent Iceland's politics at the time.
-Fixed some bugs in the communist path.
-Made it more difficult to get into the Comintern for free.
-Added a few events related to the democratic path.

Norway:
-Added a new focus related to the Oslo Analyzer. It gives some research buffs.
-Added a new focus in the exile path that lets you smuggle a scientist out of occupied Norway.
-Added a new event which more accurately depicts how a certain Norwegian general died, as opposed before where it was very much in the background and barely noticeable.

Sweden:
-Allowed Sweden to reap the benefits of their own ball bearings.
-Fixed a bunch of bugs in their monarchist branches.

And that's it for now! Next on the chopping block is to rework Iceland's industry and military branches, but that'll have to wait until after the new dlc comes out.

Update: May 13 @ 11:32am

-Added a new communist leader for Iceland

-When you mend ties with the social democrats in the communist path, it gives you access to some advisors.

Update: Apr 29 @ 5:01pm

-Updated the mod to 1.16.5

Iceland:
-The focus "East-Finnic Liberation" now creates a few victory points in Karelia.

Karelia:
-Added a communist leader for them with his own portrait.
-Added a few unique puppet names (if they are puppets of the Soviets)

Icelandic communist overhaul update!

Hello! After a few months of on-and-off modding, I have some new content for this mod. This is probably the largest update so far, that being, a complete overhaul of the Icelandic communist path. Let's just get to the details.

Iceland communist path:

-Completely overhauled the entire path.
-Over 100+ communist focuses.
-You must choose between following the Reykjavík doctrine or the Akureyri doctrine.
-Five communist subpaths in total.
-Added some new events for flavour.
-Three possible communist leaders for you to choose.
-Added three unique communist generals.
-Added a few custom tags for communist Iceland.

Other content:

Other Icelandic content:
-Added a new focus to the army branch which allows you to buy ships from the Great Powers.
-Overall shortened the amount of time it takes to complete Iceland's industry and army branches.

Faroe Islands:
-Added a unique communist leader for the Faroe Islands.

Gotland:
-Added a new releasable, Gotland.
-New formable nation unique to Gotland.

Sweden:
-Added a new focus that allows them to rebuild Visborg.

Norway:
-Added a new focus that allows Norway to produce heavy water, which gives some bonuses.

Updates and bugfixes:
-Updated the mod to 1.16.4
-Tried to fix the issue with randomly generated Icelandic names, but because of the way Paradox set up the names, there's not much I can do. Get ready to see some very weird mix of first and last names.
-Fixed a bug with Sweden's monarchist party name.
-Fixed a bug with the EU formable to account for the new states I added.

Update: Mar 5 @ 6:58am

-Updated the mod to 1.16.0

Something you'll notice is that the "Interesting Countries" screen looks very strange. I tried to figure out how to fix it, but couldn't. So, at this point best I can do is wait until Paradox add a third line themselves, or I have to continue bashing my head against it until it works. Until then, you'll just have to deal with some funky looking bookmarks screen lol

Update: Feb 7 @ 12:14pm

-Fixed a bug where the Petsamo agreements would be available for all countries as an industrial concern lol

Update: Jan 29 @ 10:32am

-Removed some unnecessary files that were once used to dynamically change the names of states and vps. Now that Paradox made it super simple, these files are no longer needed.

-Added a starting claim on southern Jutland for Schleswig-Holstein

-Southern Jutland changes its name to Low-German if Schleswig-Holstein controls it

Update: Jan 29 @ 9:42am

Lol been a long time since I updated this.

For the 0 people who are going to read this, the reason why I "abandoned" this mod is quite simple. Paradox released an expansion which changed a lot of things, and the task of updating the mod just became very very daunting. That, plus uni kept me away from updating this mod, which was a shame because I really wanted to update the mod.

However, I eventually just decided to say "screw it, the longer I wait the more difficult it becomes". And so, I decided to update the mod, which was one hell of a task, and took me like 13 hours just to update the mod, and idk what Paradox did to the Nudge tool, but it's a lot more broken than when I made this mod originally.

But eventually, the error messages stopped popping up and the mod was functional again! Whether I'll continue adding content into this mod, idk, you'll most likely see me posting an update which adds more dynamic name changes, now that Paradox simplified the process of doing so by like 1 million.

But, dear void I'm speaking into, here are the changes this patch:

-Updated the mod to 1.15.4

-Changed Norway's civil war to be in line with how it is in vanilla game. Personally, I liked how Norway was in the first patches of the dlc. Where declaring war on them triggers a civil war with Quisling and all that. Made the game feel more alive tbh, idk why they changed it to what it is now. But I can't keep it that way forever, so I have changed it to be more in line with vanilla.

-Removed the content I made for Hungary, since the new expansion has made that obsolete.

-Added a focus to Germany's new focus tree which allows them to invade Iceland. I might release an update which allows you to create a Reichkommisariet in Iceland, but for now this is all I'm adding to Germany.

-Reverted the changes I made to the "Occupy Jylland" decision.

-Added some more dynamic state and vp names

Update: Oct 26, 2024 @ 2:26pm

-Fixed the German focus to reintegrate Nordschleswig so that it actually gives you a core on Nordschleswig

Update: Oct 18, 2024 @ 1:42pm

-Updated the mod to 1.14.10
