Update for Reforged Eden 2 Alpha: (Alpha)


Project Eden 2 Alpha:
  • Renamed Silver to Palladium and updated icon and stats to be more consistent with other ore.
  • Changed PDA drone spawning to NearPlayer. Note: drones spawned via the PDA do not attack due to a game bug. Nothing we can do about that.

Update for Reforged Eden 2 Alpha: (Alpha)


Project Eden 2 Alpha:
  • Added RG2 story POIs to Akua moon.
  • Added abandoned POIs to radiated zones on Akua and updated NPC spawning for radiated zones.
  • Added nests to radiated zones on Akua. They might be worth checking out.
  • Haven is now a clone of Akua but medium size instead of large size for now.

Project Eden 2 Alpha:
  • Added RG2 story POIs to Akua. The story missions are untested so you may encounter problems completing the story. Random POIs not yet set up.
  • Akua is now always set to large size. Renamed playfield folder for Akua to Start_Akua_V2 and updated sectors file.
  • POI shields can now recharge on the 3 test planets.

Update for Reforged Eden 2 Alpha: (Build 5)


Project Eden 2 Alpha:
  • Removed custom terrain decoration from planets to fix issues on dedicated servers. I will miss the aurora.
  • Updated Akua with new decoration system. RG2 story mission POIs not yet added.

Reforged Galaxy 2 Alpha:
  • Heavy Railgun ammunition now displays blast damage on tooltip.
  • HV Laser Turret and ammunition now display their damage value on their tooltips.
  • Heavy Railgun tooltip displays correct blast damage multiplier on stats (showed +250% instead of just 250%. Now displays +150% for consistency. Does not affect its actual damage)
  • Quantum Processor-using devices can no longer be repaired to template to prevent duplication exploits.
  • Larger visual explosion effect of SV Medium plasma cannons.
  • Changed laser projectile for fixed CV Light and Medium laser cannons from sad cyan to glowing blue.
  • Increased range of the T1 Wifi from 50m to 75m.
  • Increased Com Officer crew's range from 85m to 125m.
  • Halved Hover Engine stats and CPU costs.
  • Increased HP of Plasma Turbines by 2000 and 4000hp.
  • Drilling radius is now displayed on HV/SV drills.
  • Increased the radii and damage of SV Laser Drills.
  • HV/SV Mechanical Drills no longer work in space. HV/SV Laser Drills are required for space mining. (Hence, the buff to them)
  • Fixed issue where players could not enter/exit the Coolant room on the Missile Base. Also fixed the toilet on B2 being indestructible.
  • Switched crafting recipe and marketprice from Cooling Boost to Insulation Boost.
  • Torpedo range now displays on HUD allowing homing function to work properly.
  • Updated Medigun holding position.
  • Replaced the T1 Pistol model and icon since the model texture was removed in 1.11.
  • Replaced the Heavy Pistol model.
  • Fixed inconsistent damage for CV Heavy Lasers.
  • Updated Spinal Mount CV weapons with damage states. (Includes fixed rocket launchers)
  • Updated most SV fixed weapons with damage states (does not applied to rocket pylons).
  • Maybe fixed plasma turbines leaving plasma trail when on a fast-moving ship.
  • Added new PDA and Dialog files with new story content (untested)
  • Added and updated POIs with fixes and Story POIs.

Update for Reforged Eden 2 Alpha: (Build 4)


Project Eden 2 Alpha:
  • Updated Project Eden player CV weapons (except spinal railgun and drone swarm weapons). Did a first balancing pass on damage.
    Note: due to turrets not needing to reload, damage per minute values for turrets will not be consistent until either the bug is fixed or the scenario is updated to take the bug into account.
  • Updated Auxiliary cores.

A new save game is recommended for this update.

Update for Reforged Eden 2 Alpha: (Build 3)


Due to a lot of changes in the block and item configs I recommend a new save game for this update.

Project Eden 2 Alpha:
  • Reorganized PE section of block config. Removed some unneeded blocks and items. WIP.
  • Inventory screen change log button now goes to the Reforged Eden 2 workshop.
  • Added Colonist turrets and Sentinel Flak turret to shared weapons limit and first balancing pass.
  • POI shields on test planets can now recharge once depleted.

Reforged Galaxy 2 Alpha:
  • Reduced projectile speeds of EMP turrets on planets by 25m/s.
  • Increased Capacity and Recharge rates of HV and SV shields.
  • Added Compact Gravity Generator (1x1x1) for CV, BA and SV.
  • Changes to tooltips to shrink flavor text.
  • Player Orbital Drones are now equipped with plasma cannons instead of lasers.
  • Updated icons of player drones.

Project Eden 2 Alpha:
Misc:
  • Updated Industrial Water Extractor and Geothermal info to clarify how to activate them.
  • Reduced Zirax patrols around POIs on test planets.

Reforged Galaxy 2 Alpha:
  • Reduced mass of Xenosteel Blocks from 3000kg to 2250kg.
  • Adjusted mass and HP of stairs.
  • Animal Bones (block) are now usable, salvageable and visible.
  • Removed shield penetration from POI laser turrets.
  • EMP Bombs now register their detonations vs shields visibly and audibly.
  • CV Heavy Cannon now has shield penetration (impact only) like previous tiers.
  • Changed firing effect of SV Heavy Laser and sound effects.
  • Planetary Drone Bay Drones now fire cannon shells instead of gatling rounds.
  • Increased the HP of Drones spawned by both Drone Bays.
  • Player Space Drones now have their own dedicated weapon.
  • Drone Damage is now listed on the Drone Bay.
  • Number of active drones the can be launched by the Drone Bay has been increased to 3.
  • Added icon for Drone Launchpad.
  • Recipes added to Drone Bays, Pads and Drones.
  • Placeholder marketprices for Drone stuff replaced with actual values calculated from crafting costs.
  • Plasma Converters can now be found in Rare and Very Rare loot containers.
  • Plasma Converters can now be bought from Betram's Arms (will be added to others later)
  • Antimatter Converters can now be found in Ultra Rare loot containers.
  • HV/SV Heavy Windows (untinted) no longer cracked when damaged.
  • Weapon damage rebalancing to smooth broken values. This was a massive change to damage values to solve imbalances caused by all the constant changes from player feedback.
  • CPU cost of sentry guns reduced from 1000 > 350.
