Because we can't change it: The ridiculous date used in vanilla is the local date used by Polaris/Zirax/Trade Federation.

Worse still, this didn't just penalize ultra-light carbon builds it made it impossible for players using conventional ship designs and piloting by removing their ability to dodge making it harder for new players to pick up the scenario without being kicked in the balls.
Thanks! Would love to know. No worries if it's still disabled
Gotcha, appreciate the honesty. Real shame they removed that functionality, would make bases feel less lonely in Singleplayer, appreciate the effort.
I have not tested them to see if they work again but I would doubt it.
It wasn't very useful though anyway.
That's a shame, but I could've sworn this mod had a way to spawn guards that can patrol your base and fight potential hostile enemies. Is that incorrect?
That meta broke all game balance because it cost the least to build with the highest damage output since it didn't need armor or the thrusters and power supply to move that weight.
Shield penetration for non-legacy weapons is either non-existent or 2-10% of a weapon's damage.
Shield penetration does not cut much of the game, nor does it restrict you to one way to play. You can build the same ships you could before, but now you MUST use real armors. Because that is progression.
What you described is the opposite of a glass cannon. A glass cannon breaks when it gets hit. Shields provided invincibility, functioning as 200k block hp for every part of the ship. Shields became armor. Weightless armor.
HV/SV Shield boosters' limit is not a group total. So yes, you can use 4-4-4
just wondering if i should wait to open up a server for me and friends..
As always, fantastic work you guys do <3
It outputs the result in the console.
You should only do that if you understand exactly what freedom mode is AND you permanently want to be in freedom mode for that entire save game.
If you're just looking to change the difficulty settings you do that on the load save menu.
