1.4.2
  • The army & navy Gwangmu Reforms journals now check for total current army & navy manpower for completion
    • This fixes a previous issue where these journals became impossible to complete in 1.4.0/1.4.1 due to an incorrect implementation of a building counter trigger on my behalf which ended up forcing players to have e.g., 80 separate barracks buildings across 80 states instead of 80 combined levels of barracks
  • The regency journal now has a failsafe to spawn Cheoljong if Heonjong vanishes or to fire the event for Gojong's ascension if Cheoljong vanishes in the rare event that either Heonjong or Cheoljong have somehow prematurely died or otherwise disappeared through some mechanism unrelated to the mod's special code driving the regency & historical heirs
  • Fixed potential bug where if Gojong took the throne directly (circumventing the Daewongun regency; currently possible if Cheoljong somehow doesn't die for long enough), a variable related to historical heir generation wasn't set and would cause a clone of Gojong to be the next heir

1.4.1
Fixed typo in the Sedo Politics JE flavor text ("Pyungyang Jo" -> "Pungyang Jo")

更新:2024 年 4 月 6 日 @ 下午 11:28

1.4.0
  • NEW - Sedo Politics and Regency journal entries & event chains
    • Korea now starts as an oligarchic monarchy instead of an autocratic one
    • Face the challenge of quickly bringing Korea's desperate situation under control and restore power to the monarch
    • New journal entries driving the transfer of power from entrenched clans & gentry to the regent
    • New special regency mechanic for the first few Korean kings, complete with both existing and new historical characters
    • New ideologies - Landowners now love Oligarchy above all else to keep their hold on power and special Korean-flavored Royalists can spawn to help push power back into the hands of the king
  • New historical characters
    • Queen Sunwon and Yi Ha-eung (Heungseon Daewongun) appear as regents
    • Kim Jwa-geun & Park Gyu-su appear as new IG leaders for the landowners and intelligentsia, respectively, filling in a gap of historical characters in the early-mid-game
    • Choe Han-gi appears as a Devout agitator - lucky players may be able to use him to help expedite early reforms!
    • Prince Yi Yung-jun can appear briefly during King Cheoljong's reign
  • Rebalanced militancy gain multipliers in the Donghak JE chain to better handle changes from the Sedo Politics features and to get the rebellion to fire around historical dates more reliably
  • Tweaked logic handling the spawning of Yi Dynasty rulers
  • AI Korea now gets AI strategies to promote modernizing when Gojong takes control
  • Modernizer ideology now supports Freedom of Conscience and Total Separation to allow for secular PMs
  • Added an event to generate Yi-surnamed characters if Korea finds itself moving off of Monarchy and then back onto it
  • Gabo and Gwangmu Reforms intermediary JEs now give temporary bonus modifiers to reward your incremental progress
  • Gwangmu Industrial Expansion JE now only checks for domestic production & consumption of clothes, tools, and silk (to prevent any cheating or undue challenges arising from joining the markets of other countries)
  • The number of barracks and naval bases checked for occupancy levels in the army & navy Gwangmu JEs is now limited to the target amount of units to raise instead of checking all barracks & naval bases
  • Fixed tooltips for clothes, tools, and silk in Gwangmu JEs; they should correctly display the market stats now
  • Fixed the Peasant Rebellion pact definition not matching 1.6 specifications
  • Misc. tweaks to presentation (i.e., journal entry icons, journal & tooltip wording tweaks, etc.)

更新:2024 年 3 月 17 日 @ 下午 6:02

1.3.0
  • Fixed certain historical characters spawning under the age of 18
  • Fixed agitators spawning as IGs they shouldn't have spawned as
  • Fixed middle strata pops having incorrectly-defined clothing after the empire is proclaimed, primarily military pops
  • Fixed clothing conflicts when using the Community Outfit Mod without Western Clothes: Redux
  • "Rising Storm" option in the Shining & Martial event now gives claims on all of Manchuria
  • All notification feed notifications added by this mod now use colors where appropriate
  • Increased militancy suppression effect from 50% to 90%
  • Added a new Modernizer ideology to represent and facilitate the changes Korea historically made during the Gwangmu Reforms
    • A few historical characters will come with this ideology (primarily Emperor Gojong), but it may show up randomly on IG leaders and agitators except for Landowner and Devout ones.
  • Renamed IGs based on feedback from Korean players (special thanks to Seraphel!):
    • "Urban Sangmin" -> "Sangmin"
    • "Rural Sangmin" -> "Nongmin"
    • "Bongwan Elites" -> "Jaejisajok Gentry"
    • "Jungin Professionals" -> "Silhak Scholars" (see below)
  • Renamed "Plight of the Sangmin" to "Plight of the Nongmin"
  • Nongmin (Rural Folk) now keep their flavored name after the Gabo Reforms are completed
  • New "Silhak Scholars" (Intelligentsia) IG replaces "Jungin Professionals"
    • Comes with two unique IG traits granting bonuses to technology research and spread
    • Before the Gabo Reforms are completed, it has a unique ideology ("Silhak Philosophy") which replaces Republican and Anti-Slavery
    • They no longer begin with Meritocratic (superseded by Silhak Philosophy)
  • Added alternative completion conditions to the Burgeoning Empire Gwangmu JE:
    • Become recognized, OR
    • Match the power ranking of China or Japan, whoever is higher, and place higher on the global leaderboard than China or Japan, whoever is lower
  • Improved Donghak Peasant Rebellion effects
    • Countries Korea has a defensive pact or alliance with will now be included if Korea chooses to seek support for the rebellion play, even if those countries do not have an interest in the region or are not a major power
    • AI countries in a defensive pact or alliance with Korea will always offer their support for free
    • Added new notification to show if a country declines to offer support
    • Fixed missing punctuation in the flavor text for the rebel victory event
    • The Donghak Peasant Rebellion country now gets free barracks immediately after spawning in
  • Added custom art of the Korean flag to replace the plain blue flag in JEs that used the latter

更新:2024 年 1 月 8 日 @ 下午 5:30

1.2.3
  • Lowered Bureaucracy requirement for the relevant Gabo Reforms journal to at least 1000 excess Bureaucracy (down from over 2000 excess)
  • Replaced checks for incorporated states in Gabo and Gwangmu Reforms journals with checks for Korean homeland states
  • Gwangmu Reforms navy journal now requires Monitors OR Self-Propelled Torpedos for completion
  • Changed spelling of Gojong's name in Korean localization

更新:2024 年 1 月 2 日 @ 下午 10:59

1.2.2
Fixed Korean agitators wearing nothing

更新:2024 年 1 月 2 日 @ 下午 7:38

1.2.1
  • Fixed base militancy gain from being above the radicals threshold being incorrectly displayed as being an active factor in cases it shouldn't have been in the militancy tooltip
  • [Attempted to add] improved compatibility with East Asian Clothes Patch to make Donghak Peasant Rebellion characters not wear hats

更新:2024 年 1 月 1 日 @ 下午 7:23

1.2.0
  • Changed Militancy gain in Donghak journals such that they only care about the following pops for Radicals-related calculations:
    • Korean Peasants
    • Korean Farmers
    • Korean Laborers
  • Tweaked Militancy multiplier from Radicals percentage to only consider the pops listed above and to increase more quickly at smaller percentages.
  • Radicals threshold for peacefully resolving the Donghak journals is now 20% (up from 5%) and now only considers the pops listed above instead of all pops in Korea.
  • Suppressing Militancy now lowers Militancy by 50% of the current value (up from 25%), and it now has a larger and significantly more impactful effect on the monthly militancy gain.
  • Monthly Militancy gain now gets multiplied by 25 after the Donghak Peasant Rebellion is spawned to hasten the transition to a violent revolt and to help avoid situations where the Donghak Peasant Rebellion sits idly occupying a province for several years due to slow Militancy gain.
  • Fixed Son Byeong-hui getting generated twice simultaneously when the Donghak Peasant Rebellion is spawned

更新:2023 年 12 月 30 日 @ 上午 1:28

1.1.0
  • Tweaked militancy calculations in the Donghak Peasant Rebellion journals to make radicals more impactful
    • Base militancy gain per unfulfilled journal condition is lowered to 0.02 (from 0.03)
    • Having at least 5% radical pops now contributes to base militancy gain (at 0.02 if true)
    • Any percentage of radical pops will now contribute an additional multiplier to the militancy gain
    • The radicals multiplier rises exponentially from roughly +10% at 5% radicals, roughly +20% at 10% radicals, +50% at 20% radicals, etc. 50% radicals results in +200%, and this multiplier is limited to at most 1000%.
  • The decision to proclaim the Korean Empire will now appear when the Gwangmu Reform journals are started, even if Nationalism is not researched by then. The requirements of the decision have not been changed.
