Update to version 1.2.5

  • Achieving cliff racer extinction now causes you to gain goodwill with all factions that are not permanently hostile.
  • Achieving cliff racer return now causes you to lose goodwill with all factions that are not permanently hostile.
  • If you have Ideology, and the faction venerates the cliff racer, the good will change is inverted.
  • Added two of the cliff racer settings to the pre-world generation settings page (enable/disable and initial population slider).

Update to version 1.2.2

  • Added new animal - Daedroth.

Update to version 1.2.1

Removed the last two references to a still unfinished animal in achievement defs.
I believe those references may get cached, and I do not know how they will be handled in game. So if you run into issues, then you will want to use dev mode to regenerate the two achievements listed below, the second is only if you also have Biotech enabled.

Major Additions:

  • New biome - Ashland Highlands:
    • A land of treacherous rocky slopes, dotted with pockets of dense vegetation, and small pools of thermally-heated water. Herds of rotumbo are a common sight here, as is ashen jazbay, which thrives on the rocky soil.
    • Generated at high altitudes around dormant volcanos.
  • New animal - Rotumbo:
    • Mostly found in the new highlands biome.
    • Can be milked for milk.
    • Added as a potential trader pack animal for all ashland biomes.
  • New animal - Ogrim:
    • Only encountered in a new wandering ogrim incident.
    • Eggs can be obtained rarely from volcanic debris.
    • Has the 'Belly Drum' ability, which causes rapid health regeneration. This can be manually enabled for tame ogrim.
  • New animal - Ashland toxbug:
    • A new pollution animal found in various ashland biomes.
  • New plant - Kwamacap tree:
    • A new cave plant that can be found growing in caves in certain ashland biomes.
    • Harvesting one yields both parasol wood and ash fungus.
  • New plant - Highland netch shield tree:
    • It's a netch shield tree but blue/green.
  • New plant - Ashen heather:
    • It's just a new flower.
  • New plant - Ashen jazbay:
    • A new crop plant, the tasty berries can be fermented into jazbay wine.
  • New drug - Jazbay wine:
    • A wine made from fermenting ashen jazbay grapes. Consumption helps one forget about their troubles, but makes them grow tired faster.
  • New volcanic condition - Psychic eruption:
    • Recent volcanic activity has awoken an ancient machine. Once slumbering deep within the bowels of the volcano, its screams can be heard echoing in the minds of those nearby. Anyone nearby will slowly be driven to insanity.
    • Can only be caused by blighted volcanos that are category 6 or higher.

    Minor Additions:
    • Added recipes to harvest ash fungus and raw fungus from dust ant hives.
    • Redone textures for volcanic debris.
    • Reworked all glowing animals textures. They now use a render node to 'glow' in the dark.
    • Added 2 new achievements.
    • Added 1 new fish.
    • Remade the mod settings menu and the pre-world gen settings page.
    • Reworked volcano debug actions, allowing you to trigger specific incidents manually.

    Changes:
    • Completely redone terrain in the Ashlands Marsh biome, improving the overall look of the biome.
    • Purple crystal replaced by kwamacap in thriving ashland biomes.
    • Ashen heather added to the Ashland Meadows biome.
    • Skill learn factor for harvesting dust ant hives reduced to 25%.
    • Cliff racers, fetcherfly swarms, netch and swamp jelly are now immune to traps.
    • Renamed foyada fungus and sulphur fungus to foyada entoloma and sulphur entoloma.
    • Renamed all sporangium flowers, adding their colour to their name.
    • Reworked biotech specific harmony patches to only be enabled if Biotech is enabled.
    • Flin fermenting time for the VEF barrel is now 20 instead of 4 days.
    • Modified various animal trade tags.
    • Modified various descriptions.

    Patches:
    • Removed now redundant setting to toggle World Map Beautification features when Regrowth Core is enabled.
    • Updated patch for The Profaned.
    • Added a patch for ABF: Synstructs Core.
    • Added a patch for Vanilla Factions Expanded - Insectoids 2.
    • Added a patch for pphhyy BoneReapers.
    • Added a patch for pphhyy's Lightless Empyrean.
