V1.25 Major Update 15/10/2024
Added: New snow particles (from Sakhal)
Added: New Soundscapes to compliment current sounds
Added: Particles for snow terrain (originally from Sakhal)
Added: Regular.chernarusplus and Hardcore.chernarusplus mission files
Added: New sounds for vehicles on snowy terrain (From Sakhal)
Added: New snow textures for concrete panels.
Added: Frozen Lakes (and respective sounds)
Added: Some trees have been updated.
Added: New RegularWinter & HardcoreWinter mission files.

Changed: Slightly tweaked vehicle traction on snowy surfaces.
Changed: Base temperatures have been slightly reduced overall.
Changed: Wind Cap slightly increased (Will have a major affect on cold, be wary!)
Changed: WinterStash functionality.

Fixed: Weird audio clipping during heavy snow storms.
Fixed: Some outdated config.cpp entries.

Known Issues:
Texture pop in issues for T34 model.
Mossy lakes are not frozen (coming in a future update).

V1.24 Minor Update (20/02/2024)

Added:
New sounds for boots interacting with snow.
First pass of snow covered statues. (More to come).

Fixed:
Satmap in Cherno and arounding areas (god damn it DoJ).
Flat white lines in certain surface textures.

V1.23.1 Feedback Update (Release 23/12/2023)

Changed:
Dramatically reduced db levels for newly added wind sounds.

I try not to update with only one or two changes, but due to the nature of this feedback, this is an exception.

V1.23 Minor Update (Release 21/12/2023)

Added:
The rest of the infected snow textures. No more non snow infected.
Compatibility with the new SkyZ Skybox Overhaul update.
Swapped leaf pile textures with snow textures
New ambient sounds (should no longer get CC'd on Twitch and Youtube.)

Changed:
Path_Dirt and Path_Rock textures snowified.
Stone wall close and far textures.
Some ground surfaces textures (will need feedback)
Reduces sizes of certain clutter.

Fixed: Wonky cowshed textures.
Fixed: Deprecated old Winter_Expansion config removed.
Fixed: Bridge_stone_asf2 would display vanilla road texture at a distance, now displays correct snow texture.

V1.22 Minor Update

Fixed: Namalsk Survival Compatibility courtesy of Helkhiana
Notes from their test:
removed the custom modded temp stuff as it's not needed anymore
removed the set date config. you should do it in your init.c (example in extras)
removed the troublesome temperature player stat
added a check for namalsk player stats if it fails to load stats. this will reset the stats if there was an issue which will put it in the right state.
changed the wet checks and if you run Namalsk Survival it's using the events wetness (i suggest to use their events for weather)
changed the wet checks for non-namalsk survival servers, the rain value is reduced by 90% for wetness (this needs some testing to see how much it affects)

Note: Please use the cfggameplay.json file in your files to manually change the temperatures to your liking.

V1.21 Update

This mod will no longer require Winter Chernarus OG. To prevent further issues, please remove Winter Chernarus from your server.

Added:
Everything needed from OG Winter Chernarus.

Fixed:
Icons appearing as black dots on the map.

NOTICE

If you have created any mods that inherit from the OG Winter Chernarus, I recommened that you change it to require this upcoming version.

V1.2 Update (Major 1.23 Update Compatibility) Update on 7th November

Added:
New pavement textures
New bunker grass textures
Compatibility for new NWAF
New stash model and textures. (Thank you to Ronnus for the help!)

Changed:
Revamped some road textures
Map text for better readability

Fixed:
Weird alpha textures on roads.
Incomplete konec textures for roads

Removed:
Grass clutter textures for some bunkers
Ripple effect that would play when it would snow (It's not bloody rain so why is there ripples).
