New Changes

Two New Factions (ONLY AVAILABLE IN 194) - Kou Airi/Xiang Yu & Ryuu Ouka/Liu Bang

Kou Airi/Xiang Yu Faction

  • Unique resource - Hegemony - gives a lot of military bonuses as well as diplomatic and satisfaction penalties
  • Can only be gained through victories and decays over time
  • Can demand tribute from other factions
  • Has a unique temple resource building that greatly boosts satisfaction
  • Can raze
  • Has unique army stances
  • Barred access from almost all base-game units - instead has its own class of units to recruit and Captain retinues

Ryuu Ouka/Liu Bang Faction

  • Unique resource - Foundation - gives economic and certain military-related bonuses
  • Resource increases naturally - can be accelerated through defeats, heroic victories, or appointment of ministers
  • Each tier of the resource has a domain limit - but not completely restrictive
  • Can confederate factions from the start
  • Has a unique military security building chain that greatly boosts economy, defence, and general satisfaction
  • Has unique army stance
  • Barred access from almost all base-game units - instead has its own class of units to recruit and Captain retinues

Added Nine new characters (from Souten Koihime)
  • The 9 characters are all part of the two new factions in 194
  • ONLY AVAILABLE IN 194
  • Characters are originally based on historical figures from the Chu-Han Contention period - were not recalibrated
  • Details of these characters can be seen in the character sheet screenshot in the front page of this mod
  • All have skill trees different from other characters and are mostly more powerful

Other Changes
  • Thank you to TheSpartan for working on the unique flags for Kou Airi/Xiang Yu and Ryuu Ouka/Liu Bang factions and permitting the use of some of his unique unit cards
  • Kou Airi/Xiang Yu will start in Pengcheng in 194 - Ryo Ren/Lu Bu's and Sou Karin/Cao Cao's starting positions were slightly changed
  • Ryuu Ouka/Liu Bang will start in Baxi in 194 - Ryuu Touka/Liu Bei has been moved to Badong
  • Recalibrated the campaign difficulty for certain factions in 190 and 194
  • Recalibrated some general skills
  • Reassessed ammunition and price for some units
  • Recalibrated military supplies malus based on map terrain
  • Forced march army stance can only be activated with 99 movement points
  • Low military supplies now provide ammunition malus
  • Significantly increased the construction cost for commandery capital cities from level 5 onwards

New Changes
  • Changed Chou Tenhou/Zhang Jue's Adoration resource colour from blue to yellow
  • Re-calibrated the ammunition of some of the missile units - some of them mistakenly had values that were too high
  • Re-calibrated the military supplies gains and loss from a character's cunning value
  • Increased the military supplies gain from some of the reforms in the Han and Yellow Turban tech trees
  • Increased the military supplies gain from Encamped stance
  • Increased the military supplies gain from commandery reserves
  • Re-calibrated the military supplies malice/bonus from winter, allied territory, neutral territory, and hostile territory effects
  • Crossbowmen, Multiple Bolt Crossbow, Juggernaut, and Trebuchet are now accessible based on the strategist's general level: 4 for crossbowmen, 5 for Juggernaut, 7 for Multiple Bolt Crossbow and Trebuchet
  • Commander generals also get crossbowmen at level 4
  • Heavy Spear Guards is now unlocked at level 3 for champion generals
  • Applies to both Han and Bandit faction generals
  • Re-calibrated the prestige gain from Han administration building levels and city levels - nerfed to encourage both expansion and to potentially slow down the AI's prestige gain through buildings
  • Re-calibrated the cost for adoption - greatly increased - heirs can be found through marriages or future children
  • The Release from Service court action now has a 5 turn -15 satisfaction faction-wide malice attached to it
  • Re-calibrated Banish/Execute court action - greatly increased satisfaction malice and the treasury gained from banishing/executing generals
