Update 1.9.23
Added:
  • AI: Added load balancing based on player count to AI patrol settings (replaces MaximumDynamicPatrols which has been removed).
  • AI: Added stance to AI menu, moved speed to submenu.
  • AI: Exposed FormationScale option in AI and patrol settings.
  • BaseBuilding: Added maximum allowed codelocks for basebuilding structures and items to territory settings. When the limit is reached, any further attached codelocks wil be dropped to ground.

  • Missions: Added same workaround we have for the airdrop plane due to vanilla bug T189290 to the airdrop container as well. Note that a fix is still needed for the base game itself, but it should allow you to use airdrops for the time being, and hopefully address sporadic client crashes due to container physics interactions.

Update 1.9.19
Added:
  • Core: Work around vanilla visual bug T189673 instant smoke disappearance from depleted smoke grenade.
  • Missions: Added workaround for airdrop plane due to vanilla bug T189290. Note that a fix is still needed for the base game itself, but it should allow you to use airdrops for the time being.
  • Missions: Added ExpansionAirdropPlaneBasic (not animated) which will be used if DayZ-Expansion-Licensed is not loaded.
  • Missions: Added custom airdrop plane option. Note that custom modded planes need to inherit from ExpansionAirdropPlaneBase in script (House/HouseNoDestruct in config.cpp is ok).

Changed:
  • AI: Moved weather visibility functionality to Core so it can be used by other mods.
  • Hardline, Market, PersonalStorage: Removed obsolete ExpansionM14 from default configs.
  • Missions: If airdrop mission time is too short for plane to reach drop position, only allow mission to end after container has dropped (overtime).
  • Missions: Airdrop plane is now created on client, which means it can be seen and heard from much farther away (up to roughly 1900 meters).
  • Missions: DayZ-Expansion-Licensed is no longer needed to use airdrops, but if you have it, you'll get the accustomed animated airdrop plane instead of the new basic (non-animated) one.
  • Missions: Airdrop plane altitude relative to ground level setting now works irrespective of terrain following (if terrain follow factor is 0, the target drop position is used as ground level).

Update 1.9.12

Changed:
  • AI: Ignore flaregun and non-explosive weapons with low DPS.
  • AI: Improved pathfinding while swimming.
  • AI: Will now be able to avoid all dangerous areas (hot spring, volcanic, geysers, contaminated).
  • AI: Will wait for animation of door to finish before attempting to pass.
  • BaseBuilding: Virtual Storage: Added support for any item that returns true when calling `IsContainer()` or `IsItemTent()`.
  • Map-Assets: Removed bldr_prop_Truck_02_Wheel_Ruined since Truck_02_ruined does not exist in vanilla.

Fixed:
  • AI: Fixed not going into deep water even if swimming enabled.
  • AI: Fixed force recalculate path not working while swimming.
  • AI: Worked around pathfinding not working while in very deep water (any map), or on baked map objects over water (like the ice floes on Sakhal).
  • AI: Fixed not generating clusters for non-overlapping contaminated areas.
  • AI: Fixed not avoiding contaminated area reliably if partially underground or partially floating.
  • AI: Require full NBC gear to stay in contaminated area (previously, one piece of the full suit could be missing and AI would still enter/stay).
  • AI: Fixed remaining issue with stance when waking from uncon.
  • AI: Fixed potential loop issue w/ weapon selection if at last three firearms are involved.
  • AI: Fixed clothing selection issue if clothing item can be used for bandaging.
  • AI: Prevent climb if above max height.
  • AI: Fixed climbing not working while swimming (this alongside the pathfinding fix for Sakhal will allow AI to go to the islands without getting stuck).
  • AI: Worked around physics falling sometimes not working, leading to AI being stuck in falling animation.
  • AI: Fixed OnCommandSwimFinish not being called if swimming gets interrupted by other command.
  • AI: Fixed trader AI with waypoints not starting to move again if the interacting player gets disconnected, killed or goes uncon.
  • AI, BaseBuilding, Vehicles: Changed log messages to consistently quote names.
  • BaseBuilding: Virtual Storage: Fixed "Store" action appearing on unsupported items if they have a global ID, e.g. purchased from P2P market or pulled out of Personal Storage (old).
  • BaseBuilding: Virtual Storage: Fixed having to wait for unopenable containers (e.g. Expansion Gunrack) to be persisted before being able to store their contents again after restoring.
  • Core: Damage System: Fixed explosion damage could override calculated damage for configured explosion targets that are not items.
  • Core: Fixed calculating DPS for weapons w/o reloading mechanism.
  • Core: Fixed model path for ExpansionCircuitBoardBase.
  • Main: Fixed missing dep for milkbottle.
  • Quests: Fixed ExpansionQuestDryBag_ColorBase hiddenSelectionsTextures.
  • Licensed: Fixed texture file extensions on MH6 rvmats.
  • Weapons: Fixed model path for Expansion_Ammo_ArrowBolt (it's pending removal though so should no longer be spawned).

Known Issues:
  • Vehicles: Winching does not work properly.
  • Vehicles: When you restore/uncover a vehicle while standing on it, you may fall through it.

Notes:
  • Server Hosters: You don't need to update your server settings manually! The server should convert old settings files automatically.
  • If you encounter problems with the marker system make sure you wipe the marker.bin file in your servers ExpansionMod profile directory!
  • If you encounter any problems with the market system please make sure to wipe your local DayZ "ExpansionMod" profile directory!

Update 1.9.10

Changed:
  • AI: Will no longer vault/climb objects that players wouldn't be able to climb.
  • AI: Made AI a bit more ballsy.
  • AI: Ignore locked doors if not damageable.
  • AI, Animations: Updated vehicle animation graph for latest DayZ 1.26 patch.
  • BaseBuilding: Virtual Storage: Protect against loosing items if server crashes before items are persisted to CE.

Fixed:
  • AI: Fixed getting stuck in TakeItemToHands FSM transition in some situations if hands are empty.
  • AI: Fixed issues with going (or standing up from) prone.
  • AI: Persistent patrols now use the formation leader position as the trigger point (fixes recruited persistent patrols that are currently roaming or following waypoints respawning at the recruiting player's last position).
  • AI: Fixed sometimes getting temporarily stuck in obstacle avoidance loop around doors if the recalculated path happens to be identical to the previous calculated path.
  • Core: Fixed trying to spawn several items at once that won't fit in inventory on a player with free hands only creating the first item.
  • Core: Create remote object tree before taking spawned item to destination (fixes weird issues with lifetime for items spawned on player or items appearing at position of player at time of item creation if the server restarts before the player disconnects).

Known Issues:
