Zeta Update 4.6.8

-- Add preset system. You can save your settings in presets. Located in Others.

Note, that this effects all settings! I will not be making individual presets because this is more convenient

-- Admins will now use their scold lines to "interrogate" a offender. Zetas being interrogated will now respond to their sit admin creating interesting conversations.

You can now add a new folder inside your custom_vo folder. sitrespond These lines will be used for the Zetas responding to their admin. By default the Zetas use the idle lines.

-- Zetas won't fail to climb ladders now. Still a bit iffy on most occasions but this at least makes them climb.

I feel as if I should address this. I know about the crashing and freezing due to the Zetas. However figuring out the reason and cause is not a easy task to figure out. We know the game will freeze when a Zeta dies but I do not know how to fix it so you have to bear with me on that.

Other than that, when you are going to report a freeze or crash to me make sure you gather up as much information on the crash even if you need to watch them carefully. Specific information on what they do or did to cause a crash is helpful to pin point where a crash/freeze has happened and is appreciated in the long run.

Zeta Update 4.6.3 | Community Contributes

-- Zetas with Valid flexes won't have their jaw move sideways

Zeta Update 4.6.2

-- Put Admin command values inside a tostring(). This should fix the missing numbers in the command echoes

Zeta Update 4.6 | The Administrators

"Someone's got to deal with the Mingebags that roam around in these servers"


-- Zetas can now become their own Admins and enforce currently two rules upon you or other Zetas

Here's some things I want to note regarding the admins. One, the Admins will only and are meant to be available to singleplayer only. Two, Admins can either be spawned by the settings in the new category Admin Enforcement.

Admins can use Nav Areas marked with the Attribute Transient as the areas where they will teleport at to do their sits at. If there aren't any Transient areas, they'll just teleport somewhere random and do their sit.

Currently the two rules they have is RDM and Prop kill

Admins have their own lines for scolding a offender which means you can add new custom lines for that.

New lines Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\sourceengine\sound\zetaplayer\custom_vo\adminscold\adminscold1.wav

Anyways back to the changes, fixes, and additions

-- TAB menu and name display will recognize a Admin and will add on ADMIN to their name

-- Fixed a issue where the AR2 had incorrect muzzle flashes

-- Panic Thresh hold now will act as the percentage of a Zeta's health before panic

-- Added a Mingebag skin for the Zetas. Toggle this for Natural Zetas in Map Wide Spawning and toggle this in Playermodel Options for Zetas you spawn

-- Added a isfunction() check for Zetas opening doors

-- Other minor changes

-- Dropped Zeta weapons will obey the cleanup convar

-- Added the Custom Assist lines only Checkbox in voice options. Forgot this

-- Added a button in Playermodel Options to Cache every playermodel

This is very very nice to use to cache all playermodels so you won't lag when a Zeta spawns with a model. However, this will lag your game for a moment or longer depending on how many playermodels you have so have patience.


New weapons

-- Added the Punch Activated Impact Grenade. This is basically a kamikaze melee weapon. Similar to the Ullapool Caber from TF2

-- Added the Anti Hacks Monitors as a weapon. This is Dr. HACKS's monitors incase you didn't know

-- Community Contribute --

-- Weapons will automatically bone merge if possible

-- Respawning Zetas will save their bodygroups and skins

-- Respawning Zeta spawn time can now be set. Located in Others

-- Added the Junk Launcher

-- Added the P90 from CSS

-- Added the Steyr Scout rifle from CSS

-- Added XM1014 Shotgun from CSS


Consider this a major update cause it's sure is large. I've done a lot of testing and actually have caught many issues so I'm hoping to wake up tomorrow to atleast one or two issues or maybe none.
