Hotfix to try and solve a critical error preventing missions from loading when created with NGA loaded.

Re-written configs for all weapons, this is mostly to fix various errors but also to eliminate dependencies causing the guns to accept attachments and ammo they weren't meant to
-Updated textures and/or RVMAT's for all items
-Removed thermal and night-vision from M157 as it turns out the real thing doesn't have them(?) but will add back as an option with visual difference as Vortex has said they're looking at a thermal module to clip onto one of the connector mounts on the optic.
-Fixed reticle for M157
-Tweaked reload animations for most guns, and added proper magazine drop/disappear to all guns.
-Belt-fed MG's now have proper animations for the belt, feedtray and reciprocating barrels.
-Removed failed NGSW bids to another mod so they can be worked on separately and the mod's focus can remain on weapons that have been, are being, or will be adopted by the US military. These weapons will be re-released at some point in an "NGA expanded" mod or something similar, where we will put all our bonus stuff.
-Temporarily removed Black versions of the guns to fix the textures, all guns will have black textures in the next update including new ones.
Added MG338 A .338 Norma Magnum Belt-fed. It is MEAN.
Added MK22 ASR A multi-caliber precision long-range rifle. It accepts .338 Norma (power) .300 Norma (range/speed) and 7.62 NATO (convenience). Barrel-swap will be implemented in the future, for now it just accepts all of those mags at the same time.
-Tweaked recoil for the M250 as an experiment that may later apply to other weapons
-changed names of all items to reflect their modern names for when they are fully adopted (M250, M7 Spear, etc etc)
-Tweaked sighting on the M157
-Tweaked gun-sounds, but will follow-up with an audio update some time over the summer
-Re-imported models for some items, there was an issue that was deforming the mesh in some places on some guns, it has largely been fixed but more work will be done as needed.
-Removed Supressor from Spear model and made it available as a separate item, the SIGSLX68
-Re-worked hand-placement for weapons and resized the M250 majorly.
-Moved around proxies for attachment placement, will be refined some more next update.
-Tweaked fire-rate to better reflect real-life fire-rates for the Spear and M250
-All items should now have the appropriate weight/mass to them
-Bipod animations added to the M250

I probably missed a few things but that's the majority of it.

This will basically be the biggest update the mod has seen (yet 😉 ) , we basically rebuilt most of it from the ground up.

A special thank you to all the new team members who have helped revitalize the mod and forged a new path forward. You guys ain't seen nothing yet.

Version 1.3.1

The "Straight Shootin'" update.

Back with a follow-up update.

-Brand new sounds for the suppressed Spear, looking for feedback.

-The XM250's holding animation has been *improved* but is not in a place where I'm happy to call it done.

-Some coding things were done to reduce lag (and possibly a crash) caused from the XM157's coding when looking back into the scope, especially from reloading. This however comes with the tradeoff of a temporary loss of the peripheral graphic, which will make the scope view look square (and ugly) and will glitch the zoomed view. I figured people would be willing to accept this temporary sacrafice for better stablity, but time will tell.

-Preview images for the magazines and most of the main weapons have been added to the arsenal, but are for some reason not showing up in the inventory still (anyone who can help would be appreciated).

-BIGGEST PART OF THIS UPDATE:

Ace Advanced Ballistics HAVE BEEN ADDED for the XM5 Spear, Raptor and XM250. Ballistics information was gathered from public documents and trusted sources where public documents could not be found. Anything past that was educated guesses, but most of the info is public if you look hard enough. Advanced Ballistics will be added for the remaining NGSW weapons in the future, but since the Spear and such are the main weapons people seem to be using they take priority.

Upcoming updates:

The XM5 and XM250 suppressors will soon be removable, and available as attachments (along with the Raptor being able to equip those and it's own suppressor.)

Sounds will be included for the unsupressed weapons, and soon the other weapons will be updated as well

MG338 is almost done

XM157 model may possibly be updated

Updated textures for the black guns and scope.

Looking to add the SSW40, an advanced Magazine-fed 40mm Medium Velocity Grenade Launcher, will be equipped with a ballistic computer scope similar to the XM157 in theory, this will be very speculative since little is known about the system as it's only recently re-emerged. End result should be very accurate long-range 40mm fire, to complement the XM5 which will likely never have an underslung GL. The army does have a new grenade launcher in the works, but that program doesn't start till 2024 last I heard, so that's quite far off.

Version 1.3

The "Long time coming" Update

After a long hiatus from ArmA and modding (due to getting married), I'm back working on this again. Many of our team members had to move on to other things in my absence, but new people are helping now including RealtyBoo and Aaren. After being gone so long I knew that the first update in a long time had to be a good one, so here we are with Version 1.3. 2 new guns, new textures, updated ballistics AND a functional ballistics computing scope courtesy of the publicly available code in one of the recent updates to ACE. ACE was incredibly generous to make this code public and allow this wonderful tech to function realistically, try it out. Another important note is that the new textures for the Spear (not raptor) and CT68 were donated by a member of the communtiy named Sterling, the rest were done by our new member RealtyBoo. This all actually came together very quick once I started work on it again.

-The XM250's handanim is glitched to where it's being held out farther than it should be, this will be fixed ASAP but I didn't want it to prevent the gun from being included in this update.

There were supposed to be new sounds for all of the guns in this update, but the guy doing sounds unfortunetely fell ill with COVID, they will be added in a minor patch v1.3.1 as soon as they are ready.

The mod is back in development, but slower paced than the early days as I have less time. However, with a bigger team and more knowledge under my belt I think it'll be made up for. More updates to come including more updated textures, the updated sounds and more guns. Thanks so much for sticking with me while I was busy!

Version 1.2.1

Small update to prove we're not dead. I myself had some exciting (but time consuming) work opportunities come up so I've had little time to work on modding and what time I HAVE had has mostly been making stuff for a side-project that will be associated with NGA, but as a different mod. Little side items that aren't necessarily NGSW or close to that, but still modern and cool. Bonus stuff basically, so stay tuned for that.

As for THIS update, the MG68 is taking longer than expected to get here so in the meantime we've added the FN Evolys to fill out your next-gen LMG needs. It's an ultra light 7.62, and has semi-auto as an option (as a lot of LMG's being designed nowadays do). Working on getting it integrated with all of the wonderful 7.62 suppressors, but for now it goes without.

Also added is the long-awaited RM277AR, the longer barrel and bipoded version of the Lonestar/Amicus (namechange pending). It has slightly different stats to the base RM277, including higher fire-rate and the option for a 45-round mag (still waiting on an new model for that).

Massive caveat, neither of the bipods on either of these is animated right now, they just stick out regardless of deployment like a sore thumb but that will (hopefully) be fixed with the MG68 update. Also black version of both of these new guns will be added as well.
