@reticuli your actually dumb if you believe that, the polymer round was shit and it’s recoil operated with a can… recoil operated is already the worst possible system but now your putting a can on the end making it even worse. It was more than the fact that it was a bullpup (which there is a reason every sensible military has abandoned the bullpup) it was cause it was a dog shit design. Just cause you think it looks cooler still doesn’t change the fact that sig hit made the best damn gun for the army

The RM277 is still the superior gun, but the US Army doesn't like bullpups. Strange that he's now calling this a "legacy" version, but removed a bunch of stuff. Still, the accuracy is too high, barrel lengths are wrong, and the BC on the 6.8 rounds is too low.

@Bax - to my understanding of the older version, it was in there until the Army made it's decision and announced the winner of the NGSW program.

honestly, great guns, just need a few sounds to be better, the ammo needs some images and the scope be adjusted a teensy bit.

Random thought: would you all ever consider having the machine guns without suppressors? I know it’s kind of a big part of it, but sometimes it’s nice to rip a 338 belt without a suppressor. I would offer to do it myself, but frankly I’m very new to arma development.

I'll be real here - the people who insist on playing ArmA without ACE - there's something seriously wrong with that crowd. Neither this proclivity, nor that incessant, illogical behaviour tehy demonstrate is in any way, shape or form adequate or even simply reasonable..
There is more than enough content out there without ACE or anything - just stick to those who cater to you and leave us normal people alone.

For everyone complaining about ACE. This mod uses ACE Ballistics to accomplish the required physics to make the round perform correctly. Arma does some of it's own math when you enter what limited round properties you can enter. Without ACE Ballistics the round performs worse than both 5.56 and 7.62. Arma wasn't designed when 80,000 PSI chamber pressures were possible.

I for one want to break a taboo and commend you, sir, for making this whole mod from the get-go configured to work with and be compatible with ACE.

I use ACE and have those AI squad mates' tabs in the lower left actually activated just fine.
The only reason not to use is ACE is for multiplayer Warlords on the official servers or for mods like Aliens, Starship Troopers, or the official Contact DLC.

I've noticed that the mod hasn't been properly signed yet, would it be possible for it to be signed? Otherwise, servers that check for signed keys to avoid cheating or other misuse won't be able to use your mod.

No one should be playing without ACE. Just learn how to configure its settings to your liking. Arma 3 wthout ACE is dogshit. You can kill someone instantly just by shooting them in the leg and make a 2km shot without any math.

please for the love of god make a non-ace version of this. For people not trying to play ultra realistic, ace is annoying. Just a make a version that doesn't care about the smart scope and such and this will become a must download for the weapon junkies out there. Also, any other mods like rhs, cup, tier one, and others that have peqs and lasers dont work on this. It sits too high off the rail with noticeable space like its just floating. I know im whining and crying in this post but it would go a long way to mesh this with other attachment mods, make a no ace version, and please add some grips or compat with tier one weapons grips. This is the best mod for these weapons though so it is some amazing work. I am sad you too out the General dynamics rifle though. The rifle in the image was really cool and actually made some of the battlefield junkies happy too.

The M250 shoots into the dirt right below you, like it has the wrong barrel position in the code even though the CGI model looks fine.

The newest revision of the scopes break a lot of stuff, too. The last version of the XM157s with the NV & TI modes was fine. Have to restart the mission or ACE virtual arsenal after loading your new scopes. And of course, avoid using the M250.

I think you should also get together with the Skeet dude to do a combo with flip-able TI if you're going to stay faithful to the real XM157 being just a strait daylight optic until you use other gear with it.

Your long-looking 8" Raptor and 20" MRAD show same barrel length as 13" Spear in ACE arsenal. FYI, also MCX chambered in 308 with a 16" barrel, too, meant as lite DMR, in case you're interested. ACE & NIarms have some good ammo to use with 308s.

There's also an error: No entry 'bin \ config.bin / CfgDistanceFilters.defaultDistanceFilter'

Largest issue I'm seeing is the M250 clips into the ground when braced, making it effectively useless because the rounds impact into the ground directly infront of you. Is this an already known bug?

I posted some fix and improved addon to NGA team already but they are not updating yet cuz them real life. so guys please wait a while. some sound problem is can fix with my JSRS patch if you not dislike JSRS.
