Update: Dec 26, 2021 @ 1:48pm

Unfortunately due to an update to the API in recent teardown version, i could not prevent resetting all settings for everyone (it corrupted the savegame/wouldn't allow presets to be stored in save game).

Bug Fixes:
- Fix preset storage bug due to changes in teardown api.
- When typing preset names, when a key was pressed mapped to open the menu it would close the menu while typing the preset name.

New features:
- Wind! (its experimental and performance hungry thus disabled for high and below presets)
- Editable preset descriptions
- Configure light flickering when lights are enabled.

TLC:
- Light spawning more consistent
- Menus more categorized (smaller more specific list of options)

Tiny Update:

- Glass now breaks in vicinity of intense fire
- Including glass breaking sound effects

- Fire particles should now be a bit less random, and less embers overall (they were really intense, to much of a good thing).

Update: Dec 5, 2021 @ 1:11pm

Fix:
- Stack overflow error due to improper storage of values

Update: Dec 5, 2021 @ 4:14am

Update is out:
- now works during quick load / save!
- Adjusted light spawning color to be more closer to the actual lights spawned by fire, and you can adjust this to whatever you want under the Particle Spawner menu (i know weird location, deal with it ;P).

Update: Nov 28, 2021 @ 9:29am

Fire embers now spawn correctly (are unaffected by fade in/fade out settings). (Those broke the fire embers when set above 0, thus my simplest solution was to not apply those settings to embers x))

Update v5

It's time for the most likely final "feature" update of ThiccSmoke and ThiccFire. This update comes with the long needed features such as:

-- Fires can now spawn spotlights to simulate intense lighting during intense fires (see Options menu: Particle Spawner -> Spawn Light). Note that this is disabled by default as it is very performance intensive!

-- Preset System!!!! You can now create and store presets with different settings so you don't have to stick with just one set of settings, as well as your own, the mod now comes with 4 presets: low, medium, high and ultra (default = medium). These presets in order will create more intensive fires, but also hog performance. Be aware!

Additionally to the build in presets, if you have installed earlier versions of the mod, it will generate a preset with your previous settings and enable that! Note that some slight changes occurred regarding behavior of some settings which may still affect the look and feel of fire albeit the settings being the same with what you previously had!

If these features are not to your liking and you'd rather have the old version, you can manually download older versions from the github page:

Extract the zip file into your Documents/Teardown/mods directory and you will be able to enable them. Be sure to disable the mod from the steam workshop or other versions of this mod if you have previously installed them from the github page, as they can conflict with each other!
